"HAAAA!!!!" Rei shouted as he summoned out his 900,000 year Heavenly Demon spirit ring. The deep crimson ring glowed with menace as Rei activated the Heavenly Demon Avatar. An energy covered his entire body as a construct was formed as it's size increased higher and higher. When it stopped Rei could easily peer far into the distance of the forest as the lake was the size of a large puddle besides his feet. 14 wings sprouted out from the constructs back, instead of the normal pristine white wings that Rei had in his Bankai form, these wings were deep black as each feather seemed to glow with a sheen of red. Dark energy could be seen covering the contruct's entire body except for the head turning them into black plated armour. Behind his wings, was an energy ring coloured gold while his spirit ring laid in the middle.
"Heavenly Demon assault mode." Rei said as a network of information on the ring appeared in his head.
"Heavenly Demonic Beast mode." Rei said as the energy construct crouched over and 10 tails appeared behind him, his wings condensed into 4 large pairs while the constructs head became that of a dragon.
"Heavenly Demon assault mode allows me to use some of my techniques while the Heavenly Demonic Beast mode allows a much larger increase of physical power at the expense of techniques. While in these forms, any dark and holy abilities are two to three times as powerful." Rei said as he dispersed his avatar form.
Rei sat down heavily next to the lake as he panted heavily from the spiritual energy drain the mode took on him.
'While it maybe my own spirit ring, the energy taken in is ridiculous. Even by just summoning it and not doing anything drains everything from my reserves.' Rei though as he saw the rabbit snuggle next to him.
Rei smiled as he stroked the rabbits head.
"Usagi chan, shall we explore around Star dou forest a little after I recovered?" Rei asked with a smile.
The rabbit nodded as it waited for Rei to recover.
It was only after a full day did Rei finally recover.
"Come on usagi chan." Rei said as he held his hand out. The rabbit hopped onto his hand as Rei stroked it gently as he walked through the forest. Rei took the rabbit sight seeing as they discovered many beautiful zones. From reverse waterfalls, floating islands to a sanctuary of blue river grass.
"Huo~ this is quite the surprise." Rei said as he saw the sanctuary of blue river grass.
"All of these are spirit beasts...." Rei muttered as he crouched near a blue river grass and gently touched the grass. Rei suddenly felt a burst of spiritual energy aimed towards him as if to warn him not to harm the grass.
After spending time with the rabbit, Rei had understood some what of how spirit beasts communicate. Sending out a gentle wisp of spirit energy, Rei sent his goal which was to just explore the places around here.
It didn't take long for the spiritual energy to fade but was still on guard as Rei explored the location.
Rei left not long after as he looked at the rabbit.
"Usagi chan, that was quite surprising wasn't it? Even a spirit like the blue spirit grass which seemed harmless can be dangerous in certain situations." Rei said to which the rabbit nodded while it closed it's eye's.
"Lazy rabbit." Rei chuckled as he poked it's back causing it to hit Rei with it's ear.
Rei only shrugged as he returned to the lake with the rabbit.
'It shouldn't be long until usagi chan reaches 100,000 years...I wonder what it'll do then.' Rei thought looking at the rabbit in his arms before shaking his head.
'What it want's to do it up it. if it wants to stay then it shall stay.' Rei thought while he sat down by the lake once more.
Rei calmed himself as he entered deep concentration.
'Time, acceleration, deceleration, ageing, continuation.....' As Rei dived deeper into the understanding of time, different concepts to do with time appeared within his mind. Due to the fact that Rei already had a understanding of time, comprehending the concept and law came easily for Rei.
Years passed as Rei finally understood the law of time.
'While this law is good for ageing my rings, I still need to be careful of when I use it. I should make sure that the foundations for each grade is stabilised before I increase the age or it could become problematic.' Rei thought as he stood up from his cultivation. Looking at the rabbit, Rei could see that the body was glowing with a faint hint of pink. Using his samsara eye's, Rei was able to see the spirit ring of the rabbit slowly turn red.
"So you're wanting to become a human usagi chan." Rei said as he understood what was happening. Rei only smiled faintly as he brought out his 910,000 year spirit ring.
Using spiritual energy, Rei started to age the ring as it approached the 1,000,000 year mark.

Rei frowned when he felt the energy to increase his own ring to 1,000,000 increase.
'I should have enough qi to push it to the 1,000,000 mark.' Rei though. Normally, the energy required to upgrade a ring to the 1,000,000 year mark would be astronomical. However, due to the fact that the ring was Rei's own spirit ring, the energy needed was decreased by several folds. Rei steeled himself and started increased the age to 1,000,000 years.
A red, black and gold beam of energy shot towards the sky as most of the beasts in star dou forest could see it.
'A million year ring..' They all thought as each of them bowed with respect one after another.
As the light died down, Rei could see his Heavenly Demon spirit ring transform into a brand new ring. The new form had three colours, the main colour was gold as the patterns were intertwined with a mix of red and black. Rei fainted from spiritual qi exhaustion as he finished forming his 1,000,000 year ring. Before Rei could hit the ground, The human formed rabbit spirit grabbed his body before it could fall. If Rei was awake, he would see a girl with brown hair that reached below her back, round eyes, soft features and a light pink dress that covered her whole body. She held him gently as he stroked his hair like how Rei would have done to her. She smiled softly when she felt the softness of his hair with her own fingers.
