Rei spent the next two months training up the contestants. At first, they barely managed to complete each sequence on time resulting in poor results. But after making some custom CAD's, shocking everyone on site, Rei managed to allow for every student to cast his spells. As for new additions, Rei decided to add Yaiba and Harumi exclusively since in his eyes those two had the most potential.
Harumi rejected the idea at first, but Rei managed to persuade her saying that it will help breaking the barriers of the two courses and that he had a magic sequence just for her. The sequence will help her dominate the Ice Pillars Break event.
As for Yaiba, he was excited but unfortunately, he didn't have any projectile based magic or long ranged magic so he couldn't help out in Monolith Code. As such his sword skills and body reinforcement couldn't be put up to good use.
However, Rei only replied with, "Hah? Who told you that you could only use your sword with your hands? Haven't you heard of floating magic swords? No? For god sake... Come with me, Imma get you ready to use a new magic I just developed in my mind."
"What's it called?" Yaiba asked.
"Nine Blades." Rei said nonchalantly.
"So simple?!" Yaiba relied shocked.

In addition to training everyone, he also continued his lectures on Sequence Casting as well as some other spells he had developed in his spare time. Publishing his sequences with restrictions so those without his permission can't use them, Rei took the world by storm. News went around saying that the genius Rei Yotsuba had finished his research in the department of Magic Study. So much so that he understands the rules and guides people have to follow in order to create a new sequence thus allowing him to create anything he wants as long as he makes the correct choices.
The Yotsuba family stirred as they had sent people multiple times to ask for Rei to come back and become the head of the family to which Rei rejected flat out.
"Pressure me to become the head again and I'll publicise my sequences without the restrictions I've placed. Trust me. Since it's my sequences, I can choose who the fuck uses them no exceptions. And unless they understand the rules like me, they aren't able to separate the restrictions either."
This worked as the Yotsuba family retreated albeit only temporarily.
A few days later, everyone got the news that Rei is more akin to an independent researcher than a Yotsuba family member thus allowing the government to rest easier knowing the Yotsuba family wasn't getting any stronger but were still on guard since they were already among the top of the family. Should Rei have agreed to join as the head, they were sure the Yotsuba family would suppress the other clans easily and potentially cause world war four because of this.
School wise, the class of forty students became known as the 'demon army' since they have shown huge improvements regarding their casting skills and foundation due to Rei's harsh teachings. The school didn't have much qualms with naming Rei's class that since he was known as the white demon by the entire student body. Thus, they specifically made new uniforms just for his class. The uniforms had the same design as the standard uniform except for the fact that it was black and red with a new crest.
When Rei saw this, he only faces palmed as he knew a new form of discrimination will rise. Therefore, he gathered every student in the school for a talk in the largest hall.
"Alright, so you've probably seen/heard of these new uniforms for people under my class and I can say that I don't care if the competition is close, but if you discriminate then you can piss off from my class and someone else will take your place. Trust me, I know when you discriminate even outside of my sight."
It was a simple statement which some people didn't care but the result were thirteen people being kicked out from the class and were replaced by six course two students and seven course one students.
Drilling them with better training, Rei managed to bring them up to the same standard as everyone else in the demon class. Due to Rei's teachings, discrimination in the class were non-existent as they knew anyone being picked onto the class had potential thus everyone became close friends to each other. Rei only smiled seeing the class of forty become close to each other.
There was only a month left till the competition as Rei continued to help Yaiba and Harumi to perfect their magic. In the class of forty, Rei knew that Yaiba and Harumi tried their hardest and he in turn will help them the most.
In this time, both Yaiba and Harumi had changes to their appearance mainly due to the training Rei gave them.
Yaiba used to be a slim youth but now his physic had gained more muscle. Though not enough so that it made him look hulky but enough to make people understand the power he holds. He decided to dye his hair white to copy Rei but he swept it back unlike Rei who didn't give a shit.
Harumi on the other hand became more slim as she grew her black hair down to her waist since she had heard Yaiba saying he liked girls with longer hair. paired that up with her green pupils made for an interesting combo which made her look very attractive.
"Come on Yaiba, I've told you before that a person is enclosed in a three by three cube. Using your blades, you have to try seal off all possible escape options using only these nine blades." Rei smiled as he had one eye closed whilst dodging all of the blades.
"I know teacher but trying to split my attention between these blades are hard." Yaiba said but didn't let up on his attack.
To seal the three by three cube around a person, which had nine directions of escape in each side, using only nine blades were almost impossible for him.
"Just remember you have to eliminate some directions as they're not valid. For example, bottom layer centre piece. Unless they're in the air or burrow underground they can't escape from that direction, so you ignore that. Have four blades North, East, South and West of the person with another four blades sealing off the diagonal areas. Leaving the last one to seal off the area directly above them." Rei said dodging the blades once more.
"I know sensei but you're too fast!" Yaiba complained as there were barely a gap between the attacks yet Rei was able to use that and escape each time.
"Just means you haven't attained the state I told you about. Where you are able to split your focus between ten things. Nine for the blade and one for you." Rei replied as he used Ghost Steps to appear behind Yaiba and knocked him on the head.
"Alright, the spar is over. I still have to help Harumi." Rei smiled as Yaiba nodded.
Harumi appeared just in time with a towel and bottle as well.
"Um, Ketsu senpai here's a towel and a drink." Harumi said as he blushed slightly and looked away.
"Thank you Ito san, but I've told you to call me Yaiba like everyone else." Yaiba replied with a smile and blushed also.

"Practice what you preach you little turd. Why don't you call her Harumi Chan then? Right Harumi?" Rei grinned slightly as they both blushed.

Lunch was delicious as Fey was learning cooking under Rei along with Harumi. While they weren't up to his standards, they were definitely world class chefs at this point.
"Right then Harumi how far are you in your Domain?" Rei asked whilst eating.
"I'm able to fully understand everything within roughly eight meters of me now." Harumi replied.
"Uoh! That's amazing Ito san! Sensei told me before that if anyone tried Domain like his, their brains will become mush. It's amazing that you can sustain it." Yaiba complimented as Harumi became bashful.
Yep. Harumi, whilst weaker in other magic, had an innate potential to wield a Domain. Not the simplified one Rei published but a fully powered Domain which gave her a perfect grasp on everything that happens.
'No wonder she didn't appear in the anime, because her talent lies elsewhere.' Was Rei's thought due to this revelation. Though he was still wonder as to why Yaiba never appeared. His was the captain of the current Kendo and Kenjutsu club which existed in harmony right now. But it wasn't like that in the future.

"Well, master would have a classification of his own should his powers be fully known. In terms of wording he would be called a World Destroying Magician and that's putting it lightly since it is not a possibility but an easy task for master to destroy the world should he wish so." Fey said as Yaiba widened his eyes.
"Holy crap! A World Destroying Magician?!" Yaiba cried out in shock. At first, he only thought Rei was a Strategic Class Magician, but he was underestimating Rei a bit too much.
"Yep, oh they're starting." Fey said as they both turned their attention to the spar.
Rei walked calmly towards Harumi who had a serious face. Five elements were floating around her as that was her other magic which Rei taught. The extremities of Elemental Control. She was able to control all five elements and was also able to combine it into her Domain. As long as she is able to increase the size of her domain then she can become extremely powerful.
Stopping just outside the eight-meter barrier, Rei's body flashed as he increased his speed instantly.
Harumi turned around quickly as Ice spears shot towards Rei whilst Wind and Fire roared in the domain effecting everyone except for her. In addition to this, Earth surrounded her as it made a protective cover.
"Almost but not quite." Rei's voice rang out behind her as Harumi became flustered slightly.
"HA!" She shouted as electricity shot out from her body.
Dodging the bolts of lightning Rei landed gently outside the eight-meter boundary once more.
"Not bad, but you're using your psions too quickly. Try regulate it and not waste it doing unnecessary things such as the earth wall that didn't work." Rei said as she nodded. In that short exchange she had burned through quite a lot of her psions
"Try concentrate your elements so they are more effective." Rei said as he demonstrated by making several lances. Ice lance that froze the ground by just being near it, fire lance coloured white which melted whatever it touched, a lightning lance that pulsed constantly with power, a wind lance which seemed like a miniature calamity ready to be unleashed and finally an earthen lance which became pitch black from its toughness.
"Ice and wind can control, fire and lightning can attack whilst the earth shall protect." Rei said as she nodded.
Dismissing lances, Rei and Harumi sparred a little longer before stopping.
"Sensei, you've made all these spells and powers but what's your special magic?" Yaiba asked.
"My special magic? I suppose it'll be Kamui then since it's the first sequence I have ever created." Rei replied as it was true. Kamui was the first spell he created in this world so it can be called his specialised magic.
"What's Kamui?"
"It's better to demonstrate than to explain." Rei said showing them the cluster fuck of a sequence Kamui requires.
"Alright attack me with everything you got." Rei said as Yaiba nodded and nine blades floated up.
Cutting towards Rei, Yaiba was confused as to why Rei isn't reacting until he saw them faze through his body.
"HOLY SHIT!!" He cried out.
"Yep, Kamui makes me intangible to the living world unless I will it." Rei said as he walked through the table, walls and doors to demonstrate.
"Sensei... are you dead?" Yaiba asked to see if Rei was a ghost.
"Hah? You're the one who's dead. Your sensei here is a living breathing entity ok?" Rei retorted as he said entity instead of human since he was many things at this point and a human was not one of them.
"Then aren't you invincible?!" Yaiba exclaimed.
"Yes and no, I still have to make a part of me tangible to a-.... hmm. Never mind, yeah I have to make myself tangible again to attack." Rei said as an idea appeared in his mind.
"Sensei what was that pause?" Harumi asked seeing Rei pause.
"Nothing much, just had an idea for a new sequence." Rei lied as they nodded. Seeing Rei make new sequences here and there weren't anything surprising for them anymore.
'Master what's wrong?' Fey asked sending a telepathic message to Rei.
'Nothing, I thought I had grasped something amazing but realised it only works in this world. if I tried it elsewhere it wouldn't work.' Rei replied.

'In this world we know there is two planes. When I use Kamui, I substitute my body into the information plane. But that also means I'm able to directly affect the Eidos codes meaning I'm able to kill anyone I want in this world without necessarily making myself tangible. This is because whatever happens in one plane effects the other. However, due to my sequences they aren't able to affect me while I can affect them. But if I were to do this in the higher realms it wouldn't work since people also cultivate their souls. At most I can turn myself intangible but if I want to kill them, I'll have to substitute my body with my soul in which case is highly dangerous. The only way this would be beneficial is when I killed their immortal body and chase them into the soul realm with my body rather than my soul. Thus, keeping it safe for me.' Rei replied as Fey nodded.
'So did master just become basically god of the information plane?' Fey asked as Rei paused and nodded.
"Alright, we have a month before the competition starts so I want both of you to become as proficient as you can be with these spells and take the competition by storm. Show the world that you are my main students." Rei smiled as both Yaiba and Harumi stood with pride.

Rei said nonchalantly."So simple?!" Yaiba relied shocked."Got a problem?""N-no.""Good."In addition to training everyone, he also continued his lectures on Sequence Casting as well as some other spells he had developed in his spare time. Publishing his sequences with restrictions so those without his permission can't use them, Rei took the world by storm. News went around saying that the genius Rei Yotsuba had finished his research in the department of Magic Study. So much so that he understands the rules and guides people have to follow in order to create a new sequence thus allowing him to create anything he wants as long as he makes the correct choices.The Yotsuba family stirred as they had sent people multiple times to ask for Rei to come back and become the head of the family to which Rei rejected flat out."Pressure me to become the head again and I'll publicise my sequences without the restrictions I've placed. Trust me. Since it's my sequences, I can choose who the fuck uses them no exceptions. And unless they understand the rules like me, they aren't able to separate the restrictions either."This worked as the Yotsuba family retreated albeit only temporarily.A few days later, everyone got the news that Rei is more akin to an independent researcher than a Yotsuba family member thus allowing the government to rest easier knowing the Yotsuba family wasn't getting any stronger but were still on guard since they were already among the top of the family. Should Rei have agreed to join as the head, they were sure the Yotsuba family would suppress the other clans easily and potentially cause world war four because of this.School wise, the class of forty students became known as the 'demon army' since they have shown huge improvements regarding their casting skills and foundation due to Rei's harsh teachings. The school didn't have much qualms with naming Rei's class that since he was known as the white demon by the entire student body. Thus, they specifically made new uniforms just for his class. The uniforms had the same design as the standard uniform except for the fact that it was black and red with a new crest.When Rei saw this, he only faces palmed as he knew a new form of discrimination will rise. Therefore, he gathered every student in the school for a talk in the largest hall."Alright, so you've probably seen/heard of these new uniforms for people under my class and I can say that I don't care if the competition is close, but if you discriminate then you can piss off from my class and someone else will take your place. Trust me, I know when you discriminate even outside of my sight."It was a simple statement which some people didn't care but the result were thirteen people being kicked out from the class and were replaced by six course two students and seven course one students.Drilling them with better training, Rei managed to bring them up to the same standard as everyone else in the demon class. Due to Rei's teachings, discrimination in the class were non-existent as they knew anyone being picked onto the class had potential thus everyone became close friends to each other. Rei only smiled seeing the class of forty become close to each other.There was only a month left till the competition as Rei continued to help Yaiba and Harumi to perfect their magic. In the class of forty, Rei knew that Yaiba and Harumi tried their hardest and he in turn will help them the most.In this time, both Yaiba and Harumi had changes to their appearance mainly due to the training Rei gave them.Yaiba used to be a slim youth but now his physic had gained more muscle. Though not enough so that it made him look hulky but enough to make people understand the power he holds. He decided to dye his hair white to copy Rei but he swept it back unlike Rei who didn't give a shit.Harumi on the other hand became more slim as she grew her black hair down to her waist since she had heard Yaiba saying he liked girls with longer hair. paired that up with her green pupils made for an interesting combo which made her look very attractive."Come on Yaiba, I've told you before that a person is enclosed in a three by three cube. Using your blades, you have to try seal off all possible escape options using only these nine blades." Rei smiled as he had one eye closed whilst dodging all of the blades."I know teacher but trying to split my attention between these blades are hard." Yaiba said but didn't let up on his attack.To seal the three by three cube around a person, which had nine directions of escape in each side, using only nine blades were almost impossible for him."Just remember you have to eliminate some directions as they're not valid. For example, bottom layer centre piece. Unless they're in the air or burrow underground they can't escape from that direction, so you ignore that. Have four blades North, East, South and West of the person with another four blades sealing off the diagonal areas. Leaving the last one to seal off the area directly above them." Rei said dodging the blades once more."I know sensei but you're too fast!" Yaiba complained as there were barely a gap between the attacks yet Rei was able to use that and escape each time."Just means you haven't attained the state I told you about. Where you are able to split your focus between ten things. Nine for the blade and one for you." Rei replied as he used Ghost Steps to appear behind Yaiba and knocked him on the head."Alright, the spar is over. I still have to help Harumi." Rei smiled as Yaiba nodded.Harumi appeared just in time with a towel and bottle as well."Um, Ketsu senpai here's a towel and a drink." Harumi said as he blushed slightly and looked away."Thank you Ito san, but I've told you to call me Yaiba like everyone else." Yaiba replied with a smile and blushed also.'Ah young love.' Rei thought with a smile."Practice what you preach you little turd. Why don't you call her Harumi Chan then? Right Harumi?" Rei grinned slightly as they both blushed."B-but sensei I-""A-ah! This, but-"Seeing them both flustered caused Rei to laughed slightly."Master! I brought lunch~" Fey called out as she jogged over with a huge bag behind her. The bag was the same size or rather bigger than her body which made both Yaiba and Harumi laugh."Thank you Fey Sensei." Both Yaiba and Harumi said as Fey only smiled."Haha, don't call me sensei. I haven't taught you anything. Just call me Fey." She said setting down the food for the four of them.Both Harumi and Yaiba knew about the fact that Fey was an orphan who Rei picked up, so they understood that she doesn't know her surname.Lunch was delicious as Fey was learning cooking under Rei along with Harumi. While they weren't up to his standards, they were definitely world class chefs at this point."Right then Harumi how far are you in your Domain?" Rei asked whilst eating."I'm able to fully understand everything within roughly eight meters of me now." Harumi replied."Uoh! That's amazing Ito san! Sensei told me before that if anyone tried Domain like his, their brains will become mush. It's amazing that you can sustain it." Yaiba complimented as Harumi became bashful.Yep. Harumi, whilst weaker in other magic, had an innate potential to wield a Domain. Not the simplified one Rei published but a fully powered Domain which gave her a perfect grasp on everything that happens.'No wonder she didn't appear in the anime, because her talent lies elsewhere.' Was Rei's thought due to this revelation. Though he was still wonder as to why Yaiba never appeared. His was the captain of the current Kendo and Kenjutsu club which existed in harmony right now. But it wasn't like that in the future."Alright, now that we've finished. Harumi it's your turn." Rei said as she nodded and followed him to the field."Say Fey sensei, how strong is Yotsuba sensei?" Yaiba asked curious.'Hmm, master did say his powers were restricted like it was in my world. But the restrictions were a lot harsher in this world. Though he did mention he could still destroy the world quite easily if he wished.'"So you know there are World/Strategic Class Magicians right?" Fey said as Yaiba nodded."Well, master would have a classification of his own should his powers be fully known. In terms of wording he would be called a World Destroying Magician and that's putting it lightly since it is not a possibility but an easy task for master to destroy the world should he wish so." Fey said as Yaiba widened his eyes."Holy crap! A World Destroying Magician?!" Yaiba cried out in shock. At first, he only thought Rei was a Strategic Class Magician, but he was underestimating Rei a bit too much."Yep, oh they're starting." Fey said as they both turned their attention to the spar.Rei walked calmly towards Harumi who had a serious face. Five elements were floating around her as that was her other magic which Rei taught. The extremities of Elemental Control. She was able to control all five elements and was also able to combine it into her Domain. As long as she is able to increase the size of her domain then she can become extremely powerful.Stopping just outside the eight-meter barrier, Rei's body flashed as he increased his speed instantly.Harumi turned around quickly as Ice spears shot towards Rei whilst Wind and Fire roared in the domain effecting everyone except for her. In addition to this, Earth surrounded her as it made a protective cover."Almost but not quite." Rei's voice rang out behind her as Harumi became flustered slightly."HA!" She shouted as electricity shot out from her body.Dodging the bolts of lightning Rei landed gently outside the eight-meter boundary once more."Not bad, but you're using your psions too quickly. Try regulate it and not waste it doing unnecessary things such as the earth wall that didn't work." Rei said as she nodded. In that short exchange she had burned through quite a lot of her psions"Try concentrate your elements so they are more effective." Rei said as he demonstrated by making several lances. Ice lance that froze the ground by just being near it, fire lance coloured white which melted whatever it touched, a lightning lance that pulsed constantly with power, a wind lance which seemed like a miniature calamity ready to be unleashed and finally an earthen lance which became pitch black from its toughness."Ice and wind can control, fire and lightning can attack whilst the earth shall protect." Rei said as she nodded.Dismissing lances, Rei and Harumi sparred a little longer before stopping."Sensei, you've made all these spells and powers but what's your special magic?" Yaiba asked."My special magic? I suppose it'll be Kamui then since it's the first sequence I have ever created." Rei replied as it was true. Kamui was the first spell he created in this world so it can be called his specialised magic."What's Kamui?""It's better to demonstrate than to explain." Rei said showing them the cluster fuck of a sequence Kamui requires."Alright attack me with everything you got." Rei said as Yaiba nodded and nine blades floated up.Cutting towards Rei, Yaiba was confused as to why Rei isn't reacting until he saw them faze through his body."HOLY SHIT!!" He cried out."Yep, Kamui makes me intangible to the living world unless I will it." Rei said as he walked through the table, walls and doors to demonstrate."Sensei... are you dead?" Yaiba asked to see if Rei was a ghost."Hah? You're the one who's dead. Your sensei here is a living breathing entity ok?" Rei retorted as he said entity instead of human since he was many things at this point and a human was not one of them."Then aren't you invincible?!" Yaiba exclaimed."Yes and no, I still have to make a part of me tangible to a-.... hmm. Never mind, yeah I have to make myself tangible again to attack." Rei said as an idea appeared in his mind."Sensei what was that pause?" Harumi asked seeing Rei pause."Nothing much, just had an idea for a new sequence." Rei lied as they nodded. Seeing Rei make new sequences here and there weren't anything surprising for them anymore.'Master what's wrong?' Fey asked sending a telepathic message to Rei.'Nothing, I thought I had grasped something amazing but realised it only works in this world. if I tried it elsewhere it wouldn't work.' Rei replied.'What do you mean?''In this world we know there is two planes. When I use Kamui, I substitute my body into the information plane. But that also means I'm able to directly affect the Eidos codes meaning I'm able to kill anyone I want in this world without necessarily making myself tangible. This is because whatever happens in one plane effects the other. However, due to my sequences they aren't able to affect me while I can affect them. But if I were to do this in the higher realms it wouldn't work since people also cultivate their souls. At most I can turn myself intangible but if I want to kill them, I'll have to substitute my body with my soul in which case is highly dangerous. The only way this would be beneficial is when I killed their immortal body and chase them into the soul realm with my body rather than my soul. Thus, keeping it safe for me.' Rei replied as Fey nodded.'So did master just become basically god of the information plane?' Fey asked as Rei paused and nodded."Alright, we have a month before the competition starts so I want both of you to become as proficient as you can be with these spells and take the competition by storm. Show the world that you are my main students." Rei smiled as both Yaiba and Harumi stood with pride."Understood sensei!"
