Three days passed, and Duncan looked at a rotting body…

There was a male head that Phoenix was rolling around the cave with boredom, and wormy was practicing spitting venom because of the sound of marching outside the cave.

Outside of the mountain, every few hours more and more various beasts would arise from the earth…

At first, Duncan attributed this to the normal rising battles, but after seeing orcs, goblins, zombies, and then watching them not kill each other he became worried.

"So… system, has she stabilized?"

[Ding!]

[Host has provided the death angel with over 100 rare herbs, and the chances of her surviving are 1 in 5… The sword in your hand contains a rare, crippling poison that causes devils to die in one hour in usual cases…]

[It is very lucky that host didn't kill her in the process of detoxification, and would host like to see stats of the sword?]

"Yes!" Duncan barely picked up the sword because of its weight, and was glad skeletons didn't need poison resistance…

How could you poison something with no blood?

Wormy did it somehow, but this was just a blade, and what was with the strange thorns all over the sword?

Rose Impartial Slaughterer (rare epic)

Level 550

Attack damage 50,000 / 55,000

Durability 1000 / 1000

[Rose Impartial Slaughterer – has a poisoned blade made from the rarest rotting gardens in the netherworlds, and it's an upper level rare item forged by a master blacksmith…]

Duncan was satisfied with the sword, and happily looked down as the lady's eyes fluttered open showing nothing but the white of her eyes…

What exactly happened to her pupils?

Not sure if he was crazy, she seemed possessed, and then closed her eyes as he stowed away the sword into his storage ring…

"You're going to wake up eventually…" Duncan pat her on the head, and indeed she was probably the reason the goblins were in the area…

After watching another 3000 different troops searching the surrounding mountains, her life was starting to lose its value…

This devil birthed a myriad of rare opportunities in this hellish tundra, but his little life must be top priority! So, seeing her pupils finally staring at him, he felt relieved as Phoenix kicked the head at wormy…

She then smiled and saw the frightening skeleton staring at her with its red, burning skin, and happily gave it a hug.

"You… you saved me little ugly one!" She cheerfully wrapped her arms around Duncan, and he felt nothing as he tried to smile.

"Thank you for saving me… Now sit down and tell your minion to stop poking at that…" Phoenix angrily kept doing it anyway, and Duncan noticed an odd change to her skin…

Devils were known for their reddish pigmentation, but that went away, and he felt like Nyla would laugh seeing a devil look like a human girl…

Luckily, there was no mirrors, or even water because she'd be extremely upset…

Wait, her skin color began fluctuating… She also started telling him a story, and he prayed it be over by the time the color flickering stopped…

"Your welcome!" Duncan scribbled on the floor, and he found himself sitting in the living room of the mountain.

He knew he had to get stronger soon, or else he'd keep getting maneuvered without noticing what was happening!

These people and their enormous power!

It was time to train, to go join battle fields, and she then started asking him questions…

"Well, since you can't talk little ugly, can I trust you?"

"Yes…" Duncan scribbled… The royal federation needed this information, and he couldn't go outside anyway because the level 90 orcs would kill him…

"Good, my name is Enna Marjoram… I come from a place called the darkness, and the netherworlds is trying to take it over just like the human lands, but there was a major battle on the neutral plains…"

"Every 10,000 years, the neutral plains open up, and since I'm of a noble lineage I must partake in the battle."

"Is this boring you, little skeleton?"

Duncan couldn't show emotions, but he did activate the recording feature on his system… No humans were aware of this knowledge, and he nodded his head as phoenix and wormy gathered around a fire…

It was a beautiful day to not be able to show emotions…

Being a spy required complete control over every part of yourself, and both wormy and phoenix had no idea he was as spy, so he felt particularly safe…

"No, I'm only three months old, so please…" Duncan scribbled a little smiley face after please, and then looked up at her…

After she saw this, Enna pat him on the head…

"Oh yes, where was I… the darkness is actually a beautiful place, and we are forced to protect it because the demons are greedy, little swine!"

"They killed my mother, and cause us to lose men to wed, and our population has been dwindling…"

"The demons are notorious for their skeletons, and rising warriors… However, all we have is that special union of two people, and we can only keep fighting this war for so long…"

"I'm here because my lieutenant decided to sacrifice himself to activate a sacrificial transportation array… That is when I met you, skeleton… so, are you alright?"

Duncan nodded and confirmed one of the theories of the devils…

They'd heard about the devils, and even a few escaped to the mortal realm, but this was priceless information for their headquarters!

If they discovered this information, they might be able to create an alliance, but what about the neutral plain?

Was it close enough to the netherworlds if they entered into the void?

Traveling through string dimensions beget confusing possible trajectories, and the lady smiled and pat his head.

"Good… I'm glad you saved me! However, did you really use a poison root frog herb on my skin…"

Duncan covered his head with embarrassment before she hugged him, and plopped him by the entrance of the cave…

"Well, thank you, this poison is extremely good at counteracting rose death blood venom, so I guess I was lucky to meet such a smart skeleton!"

He sighed as they looked out at the troops starting to make their rounds in the mountain pass…

At the next moment, three powerful looking men appeared in the sky, and they were so fast Phoenix fell down onto the ground.

[Ding! Host is in the presence of three demi-gods! It is recommended that host not move a single bone!]
