Duncan somehow didn't get caught, and found himself holding a whip ten days later….

For ten days, he found himself stuck behind a flickering force field, and they were still searching for a moonlight acrid zombie….

However, every few hours, his heart would warm as large fire balls could be seen in the distance….

This was definitely Enna…

Actually, the dragon decided to hide behind a defensive array, and Duncan didn't blame him for playing it safe…

Every day, he'd watch him walk outside bleeding from her horn attacks, and a little bit of pity towards him would cause the zombies under his command to get whipped…

[Ding! Hosts shift will end in 5 hours and 23 minutes… A slaughter mission has been activated…]

[Host has entered into the proximity of the level 25 monster, Arcana Vernal….. who is the son of a notorious warlord that killed over 20,000 humans… In order to ensure that his lineage is cut short, host is recommended to kill him in the next 20 days…]

Duncan whipped one of the low metal zombies, and sighed….

Level 25….

He was still level 13, and how did you go about killing a level 25 warlord's son…

In the area he was in… a new statue was being constructed of Enna with her beautiful wings, and it was commissioned by the dragon, Hebbal, who had been beaten to near death…. He made the monsters work overtime in hopes of attracting her back into the array…

Duncan hoped that would happen… because he liked being free to wander, and also he didn't feel safe under the impetuous Hebbal with him unable to leave the camp… By the way, he was never going to get Enna…

She was too good for him!

"So, is he at the camp?"

[Ding! Correct… Arcana Vernal has received an injury from one of Enna's attacks, and has been sent to the recuperation ward in order to be healed…]

[Host may be able to kill him while he's in a weakened state… so, please make sure to act before the statue is finished…]

Sigh!

He looked up at a towering sculpture, and Hebbal bled as he walked out of the tent... There were thousands of zombies floating on rocks, and he seemed sadder than a baby robbed of its first chocolate bar…

"Has no one found that zombie!"

"I was lying down for 2 minutes! Where is it! I'll kill you all! I'll kill you all!" Hebbal breathed fire into the sand, and the human looking dragon approached him with a few papers…

"Sire… we've sent for a divination expert… they should be here by next week, so please don't kill your workers!" Hebbal was right next to Duncan as he whipped a few poor zombies, and stood up tall…

"Yes… we need more zombies like this one right here… what's your name, little one?"

He happened to pick Duncan out of all the zombies…

'Did he really have to pick me!' Duncan sighed and said "Duran"… it took a second for the man to pat him on his head, and he really hoped to not die at this moment.

For the last few days, he'd been asking this question and killing the zombie…

However, Duncan… luckily, was surprisingly not killed…. Yet?

"Hmph, I know you think you're going to die! However, you use a whip like a pro! Plus, I heard that you passed the ancestors test… Congratulations, Duran, I can't kill you, but… can you pick someone?"

Duncan nodded his head, and pointed at one really mean looking zombie whom always ate more than him at dinner time…

"Him, he's not a bad guy…. However, he takes too much of your food…" Duncan usually ate the most at the table as a human being, so why not kill him? Hence, he was satisfied as a large, red flame swallowed up his buffet nemesis…

Yes, these demons actually had buffets to eat… All you can eat flesh, and he actually liked eating it!

He wanted to evolve as fast as possible, so he didn't like eating dead rotting flesh….

"Heh… okay… come meet me at my tent later, so we can talk about training you…" Hebbal stepped on his nemesis in anger, and tonight he'd be able to eat more at the buffet…

More flesh!

More blood and bones!

EWWW! That sound so disgusting, but he liked it, and he looked at Hebbal.

"Sire, anything you want! I'm grateful to have been chosen…" Duncan felt much stronger after all, and the dragon rubbed his foot on his nemesis's face…

"Yes, you remind me of me… please clean up his body, and get back to work…"

Hebbal left, and Duncan whipped a few zombies into cleaning up the body…

After that, he watched Enna's eyes get built as more and more gigantic fire balls plastered the sky…

Enna was clearly not taking prisoners, and he swore he heard a screaming orc…

[Ding! Host has 3 more hours until he is off of work…]

[Ding! Host has 2 more hours until he can leave and begin planning to leave the encampment!]

[Ding! Congratulations! Host has received 10 ES points for successfully deceiving the dragon for ten days in a row…]

….

Hebbal sat down with Arrack, the human looking dragon…

They were in the large palace where the blade had been stolen, and another guest has arrived way above schedule…

They had said the divination expert would appear in a week, so that acrid zombie wouldn't leave… even though it shouldn't be able to leave…

"Sire… you've hired me to find this zombie… but do you have anything it might have touched…?"

Hebbal shook his head… It seemed that the Acrid zombie had some assistant holding the sword, so he completely guessed wrong about he glass case…

"He… he had some stupid shining zombie… you can't find it without that?"

The divination expert had a small floating ship in front of him, and it was spinning like it was confused…

"No… It would usually be enough, but there's no moonlight acrid zombie in the premises… He must have fled, but where was the sword?"

Hebbal looked at him like he was crazy… "Are you saying I'm wrong! Didn't I tell you he didn't touch it!"

"…But… I may be able to find to find a clue…" The dragons had a notorious temper, and didn't like being challenged…

Even if he was wrong, he'd be extremely angry in his defense…

Obviously, he made a horrible husband, and Duncan happened to walk in at this time for his appointed meeting with the dragon ruler of this camp…

"Uhm, so… I guess you are busy my lord…" He saw the flying ship, and the system immediately warned him this was a type of divination magic…

"Yes… yes, get out of here, Duran! We're just trying to find that illusive moonlight acrid zombie… Come back in an hour!"
