Duncan proceeded to the Earthen Moss Dungeon, and looked back ignoring the shadows that were approaching him.

Since he had already been strong as a hobgoblin, now that he was an orc what would he have to fear?

He arrived at the Earthen Moss Dungeon in just a few moments, and the gargoyle outside moved to the side to let him into the facility. Briskly walking into the dungeon, he knew that the gargoyle would keep him safe.

For some reason, rather than having to fight the gargoyle, it seemed to acknowledge him and he was able to walk in. As for the chasing men, their fate would be up to Honan and his new allies.

Duncan felt a strange sense of fear from behind him, however, that gargoyle wouldn't be easy to handle. As for his Cataclysm Minor Armor, it shined brightly inside of the dark dungeon.

"So, system, can you tell me what items might be in here?"

[Ding! System hadn't anticipated that the gargoyle would move, so this is most likely an inheritance dungeon…]

"What is an inheritance dungeon? How is it different from other dungeons?"

[As opposed to other dungeons, host is in luck. Regular dungeons allow all people to enter. However, inheritance dungeons are completely different, and only special auras will allow for entrance.]

"What about the guys outside… do you have a strange feeling about them?"

[More than likely, that gargoyle will stop them, and host is recommended to proceed through the dungeon with precaution in mind.]

"Thanks system…"

Wormy walked in front as Duncan proceeded to enter into the second and third rooms. Every room he went into, and explored with his summons, the more he felt that nothing seemed to resemble him.

If he truly had the values that this 'master' of the dungeon wanted, why were there so many monuments that commemorated death and destruction. Perhaps the only thing he had in common with this place was his appearance.

Every room he went through, Mona and Phoenix explored, while making comments about what it felt like to die. The fact that she liked exploding so much seemed to be something that Phoenix shared.

As for the corpses on the floor, Duncan used corpse summoning because one of the rooms seemed to have a dastardly trap.

Perhaps the thing he had in common with this person was his crafty nature, and he suddenly felt like he was versing himself in a battle of the wills.

Ignoring the horrible sounds in the background, he made it into the room before two skeletons with rotting flesh charged into one of the planted traps. Stepping on it, rather than exploding, a bright light shined and Duncan nearly got impaled by an arrow.

"What the hell… What kind of booby trap could predict my location?"

[Ding! There appears to be a guardian omniscient spirit in this location. Hosts chances of failure have now increased to 55%]

"You are kidding right? Why would my odds go up so much because of this guardian spirit?"

[Ding!]

[Omniscient spirits are not necessarily governed by their master's will, and only wish to protect his goods, so your chances of dying are obviously elevated...]

"Why… why would he place that here!"

[…]

Noticing the silence from his system, Duncan proceeded and dodged several more traps using the summon corpse method. Of course, even with this omniscient spirit, he only nearly died fifteen times.

As for Wormy and Mona, for some reason, they were unscathed. Noticing the blissful smile on Phoenix's face, Duncan laughed thinking of Nyla and him at the fair.

The day before that, they had an even better day, but he didn't have time to gripe on the past. As he made it to the 16/23rd room, a large beast with a chain laughed and invited him over towards a table.

Duncan, seeing that a simple game board was placed by his side, made sure to send his corpses to various parts of the room.

After nearly 50 booby traps were shut off, and having Wormy and Mona stand innocently by his side, he sat down at the table.

"I am the first guardian beast of this dungeon…. Please bleed for me."

"I'm sorry… what?" Duncan accepted the dagger, and sighed, looking down at the game board.
