"Oh… we are so happy for you!" burst out Lana, as she and May both hugged Keira after Keira narrated what had happened at the night of her birthday.

Finally, the most fleeting dream they thought Keira would have, was achieved with flying colors.

"I never thought that General Lim can be that sweet," commented May with a smile.

"Yeah… He would be a fool if he let go of someone like Keira. I mean she got it all and he can't ask for anything more! As I said before, he's such a lucky man to be chosen by Keira," complimented Lana that made Keira flush.

Lana laughed because Keira was acting timid this time around and she was not used to it.

"Yay, so this is what happens when Keira's love is reciprocated? Cringy and smarmy?" Lana continued to tease.

"Stop teasing. You better start helping me to gather my clothes from the closet and other things," Keira said with pouted lips.

May laughed as she commented, "Auntie is really giving you a hard time, huh? Not letting you to barrow house helpers for this?"

Keira's face crumpled. May was right. Her mother intentionally did not let their helpers assist her, saying that as she decided to move on her own, she should start living independently.

"Well, she's angry because you did not let her come and accompany you today," Lana justified. They all knew that sooner or later Mrs. Chan would absolutely give in and check how Keira was doing from time to time.

..............

As soon as she sent Lana and May off, Keira felt that she was a bit tired.

She looked around and was very satisfied with the decorations and everything. It now looked classier.

She initially got a condo near Zach's unit, but then she got the news from May that Cielo was going to move to Russo's Mansion so she immediately tasked John to get Cielo's unit by all means even if she had to pay more.

Cielo's condo was big and nice but it looked dull because of its plain colors.

It was actually beside Zach's unit, while Torin's unit was at the opposite side.

She looked at her mobile phone and bit her lip.

She had Zach mobile number, but Zach did not have hers unless he had asked directly her father for it.

She knew that Zach would have a busy day today, so she tried her best not to bother him.

"Is it okay if I call him first?" she murmured as she walked absentmindedly into the living room, contemplating if she should call or not.

*Ring*

Because of the silence in the area and her busy thoughts, she was immediately startled with the ringing of her phone and dropped it.

"Urghh…." she hissed as she quickly picked it up. Her eyes rounded when she saw that the caller ID that appeared on the screen was Zach's.

"Oh my…" she whispered as she excitedly answered the call.

"Hello," Keira said in her sweetest tone ever.

"Hi, sorry if I only called now. I've asked for your number from the Field Marshal after the meeting… Let's have dinner together. I will pick you up at your house," said Zach from the other end of the line.

His voice never failed to make Keira's heart to beat abnormally.

Then she quickly said, "No! I'm not home. I mean I just move out from home today… I'm in the new unit."

Keira bit her lips because she was supposed to surprise Zach. She even reminded her dad not to mention anything to Zach about her moving out.

"Oh, alright message me the address and I will come straight there," Zach replied.

"You go home first then message me once you are home… It's still early for dinner. Actually, I'm still settling things down at my place…" she said as she looked at the clock and it's only 4:45 pm.

"Alright, I'll go home first while you decide if you want to eat in a particular place. Message me so I'll pick you up," said Zach.

"Okay," Keira answered as she waited for Zach to hang up the phone, but Zach did not hang it up because Keira could still hear the sounds from where he was.

"Zach? You can hang up now… I'll message you," she said.

She heard him sigh because now it was pure silence on the line. Keira presumed that he was already inside his car.

"Keira..." said Zach.

"Yes?" answered Keira.

"Did you like the necklace?" asked Zach.

Keira smiled, as she touched the necklace she was wearing. The word "like" was not a proper description of it.

"I love it, Zach… The shooting star on the pendant is really beautiful…" answered Keira with her most loving voice.

She heard Zach made a spasmodic laugh, then he spoke in his husky, deep voice, "Yeah, a falling star best suits you… you are like a falling star..."

"Huh?" murmured Keira a bit confused.

Zach chuckled as he said, "Never mind… I will tell you in person…"

Then once again, there was a moment of silence as if no one wanted to end the call.

Then Zach broke the silence, "Alright... I will end the call now. Uhm, Keira…"

"Yes?" Keira asked energetically.

"I. Miss. You…" that was Zach's last words before Keira heard the ending beep sounds.

She stood there, totally frozen and shocked.

Her phone was still up to her ear.

"He misses me," Keira mumbled. Then after a few more seconds, she squealed while she danced without music.

"Yes, yes, yes… He misses me…" she hummed as she entered her room to get prepared. She must look stunning tonight-on her first dinner with her boyfriend.
