"Hehe, time to end this bastard… Too bad I can't play with you some more, but at least you can count yourself blessed to be able to die in my precious hands. Me, the mighty executioner!"

Draco was about to slash Jeru's neck, when suddenly an alarm broke into the air and one of their cars stopped in front of him while one of his men shouted from inside the car, "Boss! Hurry and get in! The police are on their way! We need to leave this place, now!"

"Sh*it, you bastard are so lucky! Follow us and you'll definitely die in my hands," Draco murmured in a slightly disappointed tone as he hurried inside the car.

Jeru struggled to his feet and ran towards his own car to follow them.

Inside his car he dialled the number of one of his men as he started the engine, "Put Chin on the phone!"

When Chin was on, "They have Thea! Tell me where they are supposed to be heading now?" Jeru asked as he drove away from the building. He needed to inform Zach and the Military Base about the situation.

Thea and Chin were their greatest assets as they were the sole witnesses of all of Mr. Big's crimes. They couldn't afford to lose any one of the girls.

As expected, Mr. Big would be on the run tonight after the ruckus at the banquet and the incident with the Ken Family.

Chin told him the address of the dock where Mr. Big's men would definitely bring Thea.

"I need to go with you. Trust me, you won't be able to step inside alive on your own…" explained Chin and she heard Jeru instructed his men to meet him halfway.

Mr. Big had a tight security at the dock. They would have to be identified first with a voice and a face recognizer, and given the green light, before a speed boat would be allowed to collect them from the ship moored at the dock, which served as a location to scan anyone who were meeting Mr. Big to finalize and close a deal.

If she could sneak Jeru inside, she would need a good pretext to convince Mr. Big about Jeru's identity and the reason why she had brought him there.

They had many ships that served as scanners at each dock all over the country, but Chin was sure they would bring Thea to the nearest one from the Cooper's Network building.

No one knew the exact coordinates of the main ship except for Mr. Big himself and his right-hand man Draco. It was known as the 'Ghost Ship' in the underworld and it was where most of Mr. Big's transactions were conducted. There had been no traces nor evidence of the ship… True to its name, no one knew its exact location as well as how it looked like.

Even for an important member of the organization like herself, it was still hard to tail the whereabouts of the Ghost Ship because of the tight security that surrounded the ship. She had tried before but had failed. All of the men that had been selected to guard the ship had a microchip implanted inside their body that would automatically terminate them if they so much as whispered about the Ghost Ship to anyone.

Mr. Big wouldn't be called the King of the underworld for nothing. Such was his power and position amongst the unlawful underworld members.

Chin had given all those important details to Jeru. She had decided to collaborate with Jeru and the Military, because this was undoubtedly her best option at that moment. She had chosen to stick with Thea until the end…

Her initial plan was to only free Thea. She had taken into account that after this whole ordeal she would probably have perished herself. But after a weighty talk with Jeru, a hope for a new start, even for herself, had slowly begun to emerge from deep inside her.

...…..

At the Magpo Dock…

"Bro, I don't feel good about this.." murmured Torin as they walked towards the dock which Mr. Big had instructed Zach to head to.

Zach sighed as he replied, "That's what you always said in every mission, Torin. When will you finally change your narration? You always said that you don't feel good in every mission we have gone to. Why not change it to something more optimistic like - 'Bro, I feel really good about this'?"

Torin's face skewed and his nostrils enlarged as he sharply glared at Zach and said, "Bro, are you trying to be funny right now?"

Yes, Zach was trying to lighten up the mood because he could sense Torin's fear and nervousness for the first time. Well, the same goes for him, of course, but this was part of the oath that they took before becoming a soldier. He would serve his country regardless how dangerous it could get.

Zach turned his head and gave Torin a warm and gentle smile, which almost made Torin choke from his own saliva.

"What the hell, Bro!? This really isn't the time to smile like that. This mission is very different! We don't have anything with us and there are only the three of us going into their turf! It's basically a suicide mission! I don't want to end up as a fu*cking ghost in a fu*cking ship that's already called the Ghost Ship! That's just too ironic!" Torin shrieked at a low volume.

Zach replied in a flippant manner, "Well, that's why I'm smiling at you, right now, Torin… You should be smiling back at me too, because this could be our last smile at each other. Let's be a smiling ghost..."

"Damn you, General!!! I'm a joker too, but that's not funny at all!" Complained Snake from their back. Torin was right, the three of them had indeed become the sacrificial lambs that night.

Zach laughed and answered, "Alright, relax… We are the ghosts soldiers so we will get out of there unscathed..."

Both Torin and Snake let out a long grieving sigh.

Mr. Big only allowed Zach to bring two of his men to the Ghost Ship. Zach, Torin and Snake were empty-handed except for a device that would serve as a camera and a tracker, that was not visible to the naked eyes and was specifically invented for missions like this.

It was disguised as contact lenses in their eyes. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

At the dock, two big men led them inside a ship that was moored at the dock. Inside that ship, Zach and his men were scanned for forbidden devices...

The scanner beeped…

Torin's sweats were forming on his forehead as he looked at Zach and Snake...
