"Ahhh!" Keira screamed when Zach suddenly lifted her up off her feet and carried her bridal style as soon as her parents left. She naturally wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Why did your parents leave so fast? What did you say to your mom?" Zach asked in an accusing tone, while he showered Keira with little smooches on her face.

Keira giggled as she defended herself, "I only told my mom that we will explore the rest of our house by ourselves. There's no need for them to guide us anymore. Well, I did add some stuff like 'Because Zach can't wait to be alone with me'."

"Such a naughty wife... Shooing your parents away so you can take advantage of your husband," Zach whispered as he walked, intending to go to their room but abruptly paused.

"What's wrong?" Keira asked with a creased forehead when Zach stopped all of a sudden.

"Hmm, I'm not sure where our room is. But it should be upstairs, right?" Zach chuckled. They were still on the ground floor of their new home.

The house is quite big, and he didn't know if he should walk further ahead as he noticed some rooms on the ground floor as well, or go upstairs. Keira's parents suddenly bid their farewell without showing more of the house.

"It's your fault. Why didn't you wait until your parents show us our room first before sending them away?" Zach jested as he walked toward the eastern wing of their house.

They both laughed. Keira asked Zach to put her down so they could both enjoy exploring the whole house together.

She saw what seemed to be an entertainment room on the ground floor, where they can watch movies on a large screen, listen to music, sing karaoke, and play fun games like billiards and darts. The room had a large glass sliding door that would open up to a landscaped side garden.

"Wow…" she praised as she looked at the view. It was delightful to be surrounded by lush greenery even though they lived in the city. No wonder the name of the new neighborhood was 'Perfect Garden'. With the abundance of greens all around, it indeed lived up to its name.

"I heard it's not easy to get a property in here. The real estate agencies thoroughly check the background of potential buyers…" Keira remarked, feeling peaceful from the view outside.

Zach hugged her from behind while looking through the glass door and said, "I think our background is great enough. I love this house. It's modern, but it feels very homey. And it's surrounded by nature. Your parents are really thoughtful. It's a lovely gift."

Then he moved his gaze to his wife's inviting neck. He proceeded to shower it with soft kisses and whispered, "So, how about we mark this room now?"

Keira giggled and turned to face him. Zach quickly pulled her into his embrace again and continued kissing her neck. "The house is big since it will be our family home. Are you sure you still want to continue with your promise to mark its every corner?" Keira asked.

"Yes, my star. I always keep my promise. It's a big house, and although we have plenty of times ahead, isn't it a good idea to start now?" Zach replied in a hoarse voice, while still showering her neck with little kisses. He added, whispering, "But this time we must avoid getting too wild like the doctor advised."

Keira smiled and whispered back, "Alright, I'll be gentle…"

Zach stopped kissing her neck and looked at her with a frown as he complained, "That's my line. You stole my line, Mrs. Lim."

Keira laughed and stretched Zach's knitted brows with her fingers as she said with a wink, "Alright, General. Be gentle to me, please?"

She was about to kiss Zach but suddenly felt her stomach churn, so she quickly ran toward the restroom. Zach shook his head as he followed Keira inside. She was already vomiting. He helped pull up her hair and gently rubbed her back.

"Oh God, my stomach is in chaos. I feel nauseous…" Keira murmured before she moved to the sink to clean her mouth. Zach was still gently stroking her back and whispered, "You should rest. I'll carry you to our room."

Then he lifted Keira up and carried her to the first floor. Their house even had a lift to go up.

"Sorry. Let me recharge for a bit, and I'll attack you later," Keira murmured weakly when Zach laid her down on the bed. Zach laughed while he joined her on the bed and hugged her before he said, "Just rest."

"Hmm, can you sing me a lullaby then? Our babies will surely love it if they hear their daddy sing," Keira requested. Zach gave her a half-smile as he timidly confessed, "But I'm not good at singing. I don't sing because I'm so bad at it..."Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.

Keira could not believe it, so she blinked her eyes several times and asked, "Really? But I like men who sing well… Hmm, let me hear it, and I'll decide if you are good or bad."

Zach winced as he looked at her and hesitatingly asked, "Do I really have to? You don't have to hear it to decide, just trust me, your husband is terrible at singing. How about we listen to real baby songs instead? I can play it for you."

He was about to take out his mobile phone when he saw Keira pout her lips and shook her head as she whined, "Ah ah… No… I wanna hear your voice, so sing. Our babies are waiting too…"

"Babies? We don't know yet if we have more than one…" Zach deflected, trying to change the direction of their conversation because he really did not like singing.

Keira frowned and said, "'Sing now, daddy!' See, that's our babies' request… Don't change the subject and sing us a song you're comfortable with."

The doctor had firmly cautioned him to prevent Keira from getting stressed, at all costs. So when Zach noticed Keira's face starting to crease, he conceded and began to sing...

'Every day, I love you more and more,

You and I should be together…

We are meant to be…'

Keira burst into laughter, so Zach stopped and looked at her with narrowed eyes, "Are you entertained now, my star?" His face began to redden from embarrassment because he was awful at singing.

Keira giggled and told him, "Hihi, yes, I'm very entertained. I love it… You should sing for me more often so I could laugh like this." She noticed Zach's flustered expression so she added with a wink, "It's a compliment, I promise. Although you were a bit out of tune, I love your voice, my General. But I think I'd rather hear you moan instead. Your moaning is more of a music to my ears than your singing."

She then proceeded to kiss him passionately.

"Hmm, I'm fully recharged now. So, let my ears indulge in your music instead, my General," Keira murmured in between her kiss before she got on top of Zach.
