Keira remained as a full time mother for four consecutive months after giving birth to her twins. She had plans to go back to work and pursue her news anchoring career once the twins reached three years of age.
Zach was supportive of all her decisions and he always encouraged her to follow what she wanted to do in life. Well they were lucky enough to have three families on their back when it came to taking care of their twins.
Her husband on the other hand was adopting well in his new position as the Field Marshal. She looked at her reflection in the mirror. Zach was on his way to pick her up and she was both excited and nervous as it was their first dinner date after the twins were born.
She was undeniably back to her curvy shape which was enhanced in her dirty white warm cotton knit, round neck, long sleeve, above knee short dress that fitted well on her body. It was a gift from her mother-in-law and it felt comfortable and warm on her skin.
More of her attention was solely given to the twins during the past few months and she had witnessed how patient and understanding her husband was so this time round she would definitely reward her very loving and adorable general Oops! Field Marshal! for being such a good husband.
She kissed the twins who were sleeping and excitedly went out of her room to meet her husband outside who was already near the Liu Mansion to pick her up. She saw grandma Liu and the nanny in the living area who were waiting for her signal so the two could finally go up and take care of the twins while she was going out on a date with her husband.
"You two don't worry about the twins because I will take care of them. Just enjoy alright…" Old Madam Liu cheered before Keira totally left to go outside.
Zach smiled seeing his shining star waiting outside the Mansion's door as he parked his car. Keira did not let him come out to open the door and quickly hopped inside his car and gave him a hug and kiss. "Where are we going?" Keira asked him excitedly.
Zach only smiled and leaned closer to his wife to pull her seatbelt and put it on. "You'll see along the way," Zach simply answered and Keira no longer asked for details. Well, she was sure her husband would bring her somewhere special.
Keira opened the window of her car and commented, "Ohhh, are we going to a park?" Zach was driving south into a mountainous park near the capital city. She had never been there before so she felt more excitement. She looked in the back of the car for camping things but there was none so maybe they would only dine and spend some time stargazing quietly with each other.
They finally arrived at their destination and Keira smiled as they walked towards the hill and saw a private cabin where they seemed to go. Zach held her hand and led the way. It was a candlelight dinner date with a nice view of the mountain and the night sky.
Keira felt very happy by the pampering her husband showered her with. They enjoyed a good conversation while they ate dinner. They talked a lot about their future plans including the twins.
After a hearty dinner, Zach prepared a blanket so they could cuddle on the couch and enjoy the sky as they drank wine. "This is relaxing but how come the sky is so dark…" Keira complained with pouted lips.
Zach looked at his wrist watch and whispered, "Hmm, I guess I never said it before but looking at the night sky like this always reminds me how lucky I am to have a falling star like you beside me. Whenever I look at the sky and see a falling star I feel really grateful and blessed that one of the falling stars happened to fall in my hands… Look up my star..."
Keira did look up and her eyes widened in awe as she saw a spike of many shooting stars in the sky. "Those falling stars are not permanent though unlike my star who continuously gives shine and brightness in my life... "
Keira's eyes swelled as tears ran down through her eyes. "Thank you for being my lifetime partner, thank you for being a good wife and mostly thank you for being a good mother and taking care of our twins well. I love you so much Keira Chan, the only star I would keep until the end of time…" Zach continued to lovingly whisper in Keira's ear.
"What's this… You're showering me with compliments…" Keira muttered as she wiped her tears. Zach chuckled as he tightened his hug and kissed her cheeks before looking back at the sky. "I will keep showering you with compliments even in simple things to tell you how appreciative I am for every simple thing you do for me and our twins… our family."
Keira turned her head and looked closely at her handsome husband. She held his face, caressed and cupped it, with a sweet and beautiful smile she whispered, "You are also the best thing that ever happened and came into my life and even though you don't usually shower me with compliments I do feel it through your actions. We still have a long way to go but I'm sure we can get through everything, hand in hand, growing together…"
