"So, little new miss admin, what are you going to say?" Xu Hua kept pestering the newly hired admin girl without mercy. The young girl on the other was already on the verge of crying. She did not expect to be hit this fast. When she first got the job offer from the university, she was thrilled. The job itself was simple, and should be enough for her living cost while she was doing part-time diploma.
She ignored everyone's concern in the village when she first initiated she wanted to go city to change her fate. They said city was full of bad people. People who had no mercy, where the strong bullied the weak. For once, she never believed. After all her childhood was full of watching romance drama and reading comic books. She was always full of hope.
"Imbecile girl! Who are you to treat our Goddess Xu Hua like this?"

"No wonder her body reeks of poverty and she had no brain. Tsk Tsk."
Words of insults were directed at her straight, they even started to blame her lack of education, her poverty, even though it was all started from just a small issue. Her initial frightened face was getting worse, and those big round scared eyes was now full of tears.
"I'm sorry." Her voice sounded hoarse.
"You, what? Speak louder." One of Xu Hua loyal follower kept bullying the little admin. And she had dragged her out behind the counter. "Louder, you idiotic girl!"
"I'm sorry!" The poor girl was half screaming and everyone was laughing at her. Even Xu Hua. Qian Ci was feeling bad. The girl did nothing wrong. She had put her name under the practice room and they both were actually following procedure.
"Stop it, you all!" Qian Ci soft voice sounded different. It sounded strong, slightly harsh and full of willpower.
"Aiyoh, finally a princess has spoken, everyone!" Xu Hua loyal followers started to form a gang behind girl, trying to intimidate Qian Ci. They all knew who Qian Ci was, however Xu Hua was their one and only goddess. The girl in front of her was just trying to steal the limelight from their goddess. Who did not want to? Xu Hua was pretty and highly intelligent. She was very talented in piano until Professor Lin personally groomed her to be his successor.
"I said, stop it. This girl did nothing wrong." Qian Ci defended the newly hired admin girl, and was now standing in front of her, who sadly lost her leg strength and was now sitting on the floor, looking frightened towards these stupid whole bunch of people.
"Nothing wrong? You are not someone from music department. How could you comment on what is right and wrong?" Xu Li, one of the most vocal in defending Xu Hua started to debate with Qian Ci.
"True. So, if you say, she did nothing wrong. But all of us here knew that something wrong is definitely happening. Are you saying you are the one at fault?" San San joined inside the heated argument.
"How can you all so unreasonable? No one is wrong here." Qian Ci insisted and found everyone around her now was totally crazy. "You, the tall guy in white, do you think she is wrong?"
The guy who suddenly appointed by Qian Ci and getting everyone attention had no courage to defend nor voice out his opinion. He just kept his silence.
With his attitude, San San and Xu Li of course would not let go any opportunity to dampen Qian Ci. Especially they were now in music department, their own area. It was high time to show everyone here who was the real boss.
Xu Hua was just standing there, enjoying her loyal fans unyielding support towards her. 'Take it, Qian Ci. Not everything will go according to your will. I am still Xu Hua, the beloved princess of music department. I am the real deal here, and you are fake.'

Qian Ci face turned red with a clear mark of hand on her white clear porcelain skin. She could feel the tingling pain left on her cheek. Her hand had unconsciously moved towards her painful cheek and massaged it slowly.
