A deafening applause echoes around the hall. The golden statue seems to be waving at me, as I make my way slowly to the stage dazed.
The female host hands me a bouquet while the male hands me the award,
I then turn around facing the crowd and camera's, putting the microphone against my lips,
"Firstly, I would like to express my utmost gratitude to my team and Yuri-noona who have been patient with me and helped me get to where I am. To the Production, directing and other cast, I want to thank them for giving me the opportunity, offering me guidance and making filming an enjoyable process.
To the audience and my fans, thank you for watching and please look forward to my next drama on KSBS Eyeris.

The audience bursts into laughter at my shameless self promotion.
"And to the person who has made me be a better man every day… See this ? I really won.. Thank you for being my piece of peace and … I love you forever"
I say as I raise the golden statue again amid another round of applause and catcalls.
As I make my way down the stage, the audience cheered on at this public display of affection. Some people will probably guess that it was meant for Kim Tae, others had Moon Won in mind.
But only I know that my little rabbit at home and must be crying tears of happiness at home.
As I take my seat I am once more congratulated by those around me.
"Quite the speech, Hubby" Tae-ah teases, "You just wasted most of your material, what about later tonight when you win more?"
"As if, Noona. Even just this (I point at the award) is beyond my standing"
"Who are you even kidding? Don't try and play humble in front of me, not with that look on your face?"
"What look?" I can't help but question wondering what she is bringing up
"That… 'I expected this. I'm so popular, good-looking and confident.' Look"
"I don't have that look"
"You so do" She says as she leans, as she takes her hands massaging the creases in my eyebrows.
"There better now, you look way more humble" She muses
"Guys, we are in public. Please stop with the Public display of Affection. It's neausiating" Lee Byung, who is also at our table, sighs.
"Hyung, when you married Lee Jung noona, (his wife) I'm sure the entire world found it neausiating" I fire back at the older actor
"Kiddo, I'm so going to get you back"
"You can try, but I'm pretty sure. You will only be in for a world of hurt."
Tae-ah, interrupts, "Dylan you have that look again?" she shakes her head
"The I'm so popular, good-looking and confident one?" I ask rhetorically, "Well I guess that's my default state now.

The night rolls on and on, as our table slowly fills with more and more golden award statutes. At the end of the night 30 percent of all major awards are in my table.
Lee Byung, took home Best Actor in a Film, Best chemistry and a Grand-Award for excellence, Tae-ah received best Actress, the Most Popular Female and the Best Couple in a Variety Show while I took away the Best New Actor Award, the Best Couple in a Variety Show (with Tae-ah) and the Rising Star Award.
While I was also nominated for Best Supporting Actor and A Popularity Award, it was not meant to be.
While I never expected to win those awards at least not for a role which barely displayed any real acting abilities, just the fact that I had been nominated for those awards as a rookie was a huge achievement in itself.
The night slowly drew to a close as the stars were twinkling above the theatre as everyone went out.
Some were happy, while others looked depressed.
After a day of noise filled with thousands of screaming fans, the place had quieted down.
Unconsciously with my hands full, I find myself staring at the clean night sky.
"Are the stars dazzling?" Tae-ah asks
"Yeah.."
I answer, my dream had always been to be an actor. Today it came to life beyond my wildest dreams. I had achieved more than most people in the circle would achieve in their entire life, but it felt hollow.
Was my goal only this sky?
Ignoring that thought for a moment, I turn to her and breath out
"We should drink something. It's a pity to attend such a show and not have late night snack. Hyung, Lee Jung, Yuri? You guys up for celebrating?"
"Definitely kiddo. You are picking up the tab, right?"
"Sure. Let's go!"
The reporters and onlookers who were left silently took out their cameras and cell phones to take pictures of the handsome men and beautiful ladies head out cheerfully celebrating together.
