~One Year Later~

As usual, the sibling was inside the prison room, playing with their handheld game console. When all of a sudden, Zain announced something...that immediately brought tears into his sibling's eyes.

Adam and Abigail's jaws dropped open in a total surprise.

"Yes, I'm ready now to get out of this prison room and live with my family under one roof," Zain announced cheerfully. He looked at his brother seriously. "I will also announce to everyone that I will be ending my marriage with Jessy. We are no longer married to each other."

"Thank you, bro!" Adam's face brightened up, his eyes were glowing with happiness. The one thing that Jessy desired the most is finally going to happen. She will be free from her loveless marriage, soon! She will be ecstatic for sure!

"Hooray! Finally!" Abigail screamed feeling elated by his brother's announcement. "Thanks, brother Zain, finally you realized you are just wasting your time here. It's about time you will come out and spend more time with your son and Hannah as one family!"

"Abi, before you go out later to get our foods for dinner. Please let our parents know about my decision. I want to get out of here, ASAP!" Zain declared.

"Sure brother! I will go now and informed them," then she looked at her brother Adam. "You will also be free, bro!" she said animatedly.

Zain shook his head. "No. Brother Adam will stay here inside the prison room. It's part of our agreement that he will stay here for two years in exchange for Jessy's freedom," he reminded them.

Abigail's face registered shock. "But brother—"

"That's my final decision!" Zain's voice was firmed.

Adam saw his sister's disappointed face. "It's okay, Abi. Let's just respect brother Zain's decision. One year more inside this room is not going to kill me. Besides, days pass quickly, before we know it, one year is already over," he said trying to convince his sister not to annoy their older brother, or else he might change his mind.

Abigail hides her disappointment and smiled at her older brother Zain. "Okay, bro. I will go to mother now and inform them of your decision," she said cheerfully and exited the room in a flash.

Zain scrutinized his brother's expression. "Are you angry that you can't get out of this room early just like me?"

Adam glanced at Zain. "No. I readied my self for two years stay here so I'm ready for anything," he said, not a hint of disappointment can be seen from his face.

Zain smirked. "Good!"

...

Queen's study room.

Abigail entered the study room shouting in glee. "Mother! I have a piece of good news for you and also bad news coming from the prison room," she said aloud.

Queen Margaret's eyes widened. "What is it, child?"

"You want the good news first or bad news?"

"Good news first," the queen replied.

"Okay. The good news is, brother Zain finally decided to get out of the prison room and willing to live with Hannah and the baby under one roof. Then he will also announce to everyone that he will finally let go of Jessy and their marriage will be dissolved!"

Queen Margaret's eyes were swarmed with tears of happiness after hearing the good news. "That's super amazing news! Finally, your older brother has awakened from his stupidity and ready to live a new life with his family. I'm so happy! And tell me the bad news? What is it?" she asked feeling a bit apprehensive.

Abigail's face turned sad.

"Brother Zain, won't allow bro Adam to get out of the prison room. He stated that bro Adam needs to stay in the room for another year in exchange for his willingness to set Jessy free," Abigail explained.

Queen Margaret felt sad, but it's just one year. Anyhow, it's not ten years or something. "It's okay, one year is not that long," she told her daughter trying to console her.

Abigail sighed. "But I pity brother Adam," she pouted.

"Daughter, just let them be. Your brothers set up that agreement since the very start so they all have to follow the conditions they set between them in the very beginning," the queen said.

"Alright, Mother, I understand. I'm going to find Jessy to tell her the good news!" Abigail said excitedly and breezed out of the study room within seconds.

Queen Margaret stood up from the sofa—going out of the room to find her husband and share with him the good news.

...

Abigail found Jessy inside the clinic undergoing a blood transfusion she mouthed to her that she will wait outside.

Thirty minutes later.

Jessy finished with her clinic duties and time for her two hours break, she steps outside the clinic. "Abi, sorry to keep you waiting. What is it?"

"I have good news for you, Jess!" Abigail can't contain her excitement.

"What is it? Please do tell me!" Jessy said hurriedly.

"Brother Zain finally decided to leave the prison room and plan to live with his family under one roof with Hannah and their baby. Then he told us that he will finally null his marriage to you and set you free!"

Jessy's face broke into a dazzling smile. "Yes! Finally, it's going to happen soon, the one thing I been waiting for! Thank you for telling me the good news Abi! I'm so happy right now!"

"I'm happy for you too, Jess!" Abigail cheered.

"Hmm, how about Adam? Is he okay inside?"

"Yes, he's okay. I visit the prison room every day and practically stay there all day just to bond with my siblings. He's doing fine," Abigail answered.

"Good to know that. Will Adam also get out of the prison room after Zain leaves the room?" Jessy asked in a hopeful tone.

Abigail shook her head. "I'm sorry, Jess. They had an agreement that brother Adam has to stay inside the room for two full years in exchange for my brother Zain setting you free."

Jessy winced in pain and bit her lower lip, trying not to shed tears in front of Abi. "Thank you so much for telling me the good news Abi. Please tell your brother Adam that I miss him so much!"

"Okie Dokie. I will! I'm going to Hannah's room to tell her the good news," Abigail said.

"Go now! I'm sure Hannah will be ecstatic to hear the good news. She's been waiting for it for a long time," Jessy said with a controlled smile.

Abigail smiled merrily and sauntered towards Hannah's room.

...

Two hours later.

Jessy entered Hannah's room. "Hi Hannah!" she greeted her friend in a cheerful tone.

Hannah hugged Jessy tightly and shrieked in delight. "OMG! I can't believe what Abi had told me earlier. It did not sink in my head right away. But after she left, I was screaming in happiness!"

Jessy laughed, feeling happy for her friend. "It's worth the wait— isn't it?"

"Yes! Yes! It's so totally worth it!" Hannah blurted in glee.

"I'm happy for you, my friend," Jessy genuinely said.

"I'm happy for you too! You are finally free from Zain!" Hannah declared. "I still can't believe until now that Zain is willing to live with me together with our son under the same roof. It's like a dream come true! I felt like I'm floating in cloud nine because of so much happiness!" Hannah keeps blabbing feeling her heart would explode due to elation.

"Enjoy your day, Hannah. I will go now to report to the clinic again. Ask the queen mother when can you be scheduled for blood transfusion so that you can finally be transformed into a human being. I'm sure you and Zain will be living together in the Habitat after he gets out of the prison room," Jessy said.

"Okay, I will ask Mother tonight," Hannah responded.

"See you around, Hannah. Go to go!" Jessy sauntered towards the door.

"Bye Jess!" Hannah beamed.

...

Inside the royal couple's bed-chamber.

"My King, our daughter Abigail, had told me a piece of good news! Guess what is it?" Queen Margaret smiled brightly at her husband.

King Antone raised his brows. "Tell me, my Queen. What is the good news?"

"Finally, our son Zain has come to his senses! He is ready to get out of the prison room. He wants to live with Hannah and their son under one roof and he will also dissolve his marriage with Jessy and set her free! Can you believe that?" she continued to smile happily.

King Antone's face broke into a wide grin. "That's amazing! I thought he will never come to his senses. This is indeed the good news that we've been waiting for a long time!"

"Yes indeed! We will visit our son tomorrow and discuss what are his plans after he gets out of the prison room," the queen said.

"And how about Adam? Will Adam also go out together with Zain?" the king asked feeling hopeful.

Queen Margaret shook her head. "Sad to say, Zain wants his brother to finish the two years term that they agreed upon from the very start."

King Antone shrugged his shoulders and fell silent for a while. Getting Zain out of the prison room and setting Jessy free from her loveless marriage was always been Adam's goal. It's the main reason why he willingly stays inside the prison room with his brother and the goals were already achieved in just one year. This is already a big victory for Adam, that's why he can't complain. "Well...Adam knows what he's doing so let's just be happy for him in achieving his goal. Let's focus on the good news first!" he said.

"Alright, let's just focus on the positive side," Queen Margaret agreed.
