To create this seal, one needed a dark attribute heart-stone which was extremely rare. The seal in itself wasn’t that hard to draw. But it was quite difficult to endure the mental attack by the seal. The moment the refinement was successful, the Motionless Hell King’s shield would appear in one’s mind. One had to then smash through that shield. If one failed, one’s Mortal Gate might suffer damage.
This was why the cultivation of a sealing artist was extremely hard.
“Brother Ye Mo, be careful,” Ling’er reminded. Ye Mo nodded, his face growing serious. Then, he tossed a parchment onto the air.
At the same time, a second rank heart-stone exploded. Instantly, two energy strings trailed out of Ye Mo’s two fingers. He waved his fingers around and like a dancing fairy, he drew on the parchment. He moved so fast when one looked at his arm, only afterimages could be seen.
After the final stroke, Ye Mo felt a shadow appearing in front of him. When the shadow shook its body, a huge Hell King appeared and enveloped him while radiating the aura of the Hell King. The Hell King was holding a shield in one hand and sealed him within the shadow.
Within Ye Mo’s body, another shadow appeared. This shadow was created by Ye Mo’s mental power. With this, he would have to strike the Motionless Hell King with the strongest attack he could muster. Ye Mo urged the Dragon Power within him without pausing. All 180 strains of Dragon Power erupted from his Mortal Gate. When that happened, the shadow within him solidified while the Dragon Spear it held also grew in size.

With a swung, man spear unity was demonstrated. Will of the Chu Killing Spear was unleashed as well. A violent attack emerged and tore through the air itself. In an extremely majestic manner, the attack slammed into the Motionless Hell King.
Bang!
A crack appeared on the Motionless Hell King’s shield, yet the defense still stood firm. After all, this was a defense capable of blocking the attack of someone in the Energy Shaping Eight Realm.
“One more!”
Once again, he willed the 180 strains of Dragon Power to the Mortal Gate in his brain. Once again, he unleashed a spear attack. Unfortunately, the Motionless Hell King still stood tall.

Even after Ye Mo exhausted all 800 strains of Dragon Power in him, he still failed to break through the Motionless Hell King’s defense.

“Damn it! I failed!” Ye Mo cursed. Then, a weak feeling assaulted him while the Mortal Gate in his brain started hurting badly. Numerous strains of mental backlashes started assaulting him.

Ling’er’s expression turned unsightly. Immediately, a seal appeared out of her hands and shot straight at Ye Mo’s Mortal Gate in his brain.
“Ah! Ah! Ah!” Ye Mo started yelling miserably.
During this moment of extreme danger, Ye Mo entered a deep state of mindfulness. The Five Elements Energy within his body revolved faster and faster to replenish the energy he was losing. Because of the suppression by the mental backlash, the Five Elements Energy within his body started to further solidify.
The backlash kept weighing upon Ye Mo. However, Ye Mo had an unexpectedly strong fortitude. The mental backlash acted as if it had a consciousness of its own and increased the might of its attack, punishing Ye Mo and trying to destroy all the energy within Ye Mo.
And yet Ye Mo suddenly erupted with an astonishing aura. His aura started growing stronger, and the energy within him grew vigorous as well. His meridians started turning elastic while his energy that was in liquid form started to solidify into something that was of a denser substance. Every tiny bit of his energy turned dense and thick, becoming more than two times stronger than it originally was.
If Ye Mo was capable of inner sight, he would be able to see that the yuanli was swimming within his body, slowly strengthening his body. The layer of membrane within him also started to completely fuse with the leftover dragon blood within him.
An enormous strength rose within him and amid this suppression subjected onto him by the backlash, he entered the Energy Shaping Fourth Realm. The Third Realm was some sort of a bottleneck, and when one broke through this bottleneck, one would go through a qualitative leap. One’s body would start growing stronger, while the yuanli within him would start refining one’s body. This was when one’s defense would truly grow.
Normally, warriors would be stuck at this bottleneck for about half a year or even a few years.
Reaching the Fourth Realm was like entering a brand new world. Otherwise, Qingyun League wouldn’t set the lowest requirement of their Elite League members at the Fourth Realm. Energy Shaping Fourth Realm warriors would be considered an expert wherever they went in the Tianwu Kingdom.
During the first four realms, one’s outer quality would be strengthened. During the following five realms, one’s inner quality would be strengthened.
