Back at work, we finally concluded the theme for the ongoing project. We met with the finance team to settle the budget for the advertisement and the IT team for their support. Once the account is settled then we can proceed with the planned out marketing.

I was happy to accomplish such thing even though I knew it will go through other rounds of revision.

Before my work ended, I already sent a message to Luke. He responded with, "Coming, wait for me in the lobby."

Though it's kind of burdensome, I decided to go out and have a breath of fresh air.

I was imagining going take a walk in the park or go stargazing. Something that felt relaxing.

Rather than waiting inside with a few other employees, I waited right in front, outside of the company.

There was a fancy looking white car approaching. Since I wasn't well informed about cars, I don't know what brand it was but judging from the exterior, it must be costly.

As it was gradually coming close, I see Luke driving the vehicle.

In those fictional stories, the guy asking the girl to go for a drive would open the door and usher the girl to the front passenger seat. The onlookers will be filled with envy as they see how the couple act. Then that would be the start of the romantic date.

In my case, the moment the car came close he rolled down the window and shouted: "get in."

I was flabbergasted at the turn of events. I can't but think if being an old couple is their theme. Like you're already overly familiar with each other so getting rough once in a while is okay.

Yet I did what he asked. I sat down beside him and buckled my seatbelt. At least I did not wait with the other employees; I'd be embarrassed to death.

"Sorry about that. Car's aren't allowed to park where you were so I had to ask you get in in a hurry." He said as he's focusing on driving.

Right. I forgot about that. Then the reason he wanted me to wait inside the lobby is so he could park downstairs.

"I told you to wait inside but why were you out?" He questioned as the car Turned left.

"I wanted some fresh air then I coincidentally saw your car so I stopped there," I said while gazing outside. "Where are we going by the way?" I changed the topic.

"We're off to Royal Mall." He told me.

'Why?' I accidentally spilled my thoughts.

"We're going to watch a movie of course!" He declared.

Uhm, hello? We get off from work at 7 PM but since we had a lot to do, we unintentionally extended for two hours overtime. A movie will be over almost two hours, add the distance of the place to our home then what time will I go home? There's a notice for an early meeting tomorrow at work.

I should have had asked him where we'll be going last night. If I could turn back time, I'd gladly not answer his call.

"What? You're not up for it?" He asked as we had arrived at the place.

Can I back out if I said yes?

"What do you mean brother? I'm up for it of course." I forced on a smile.

"That's true. You're a sucker for movies. You're always available when I ask." He said approvingly.

I doubt that there must be a separate reason why.

What are popular in the Royal Mall are their movie theaters. It got six screens, a bar, and lounge.

We went inside hall 6 as we've ordered the dishes we like. We got popcorns and cola, the rest shall be served after we find our seat.

The place is a 40 seater hall with 20 chairs lining on both sides of the stairs. It got extra wide leather seats with automatic reclining power. The reserved seats for us are located in the middle.

Traditionally for people who are going out, they'll look out for romantic/chick flicks genre where they can cuddle and say 'aww, that's sweet.' Or comedy films where they can laugh aloud and enjoy each other's company, there were even who'd go for a thriller/horror films so that they can stay close with each other.

If I had to pick then I'd gladly choose any good action or sci-fi movies.

Another downer for the day is that he picked a documentary. Now, don't hate me for it. I do watch documentaries on tv but those are participatory. They raise questions, gives insights and awareness.

But he had to choose poetic which relies on images with little narration. I wasn't a fan. If wishes do come true then I wish in this instant to get back in my own body. If this was what the 'IRIS LIN' enjoys then let her be, don't drag me with it.

Unfortunately, we don't share the same body but it was me who's staying solo in it.

Thank goodness for the popcorn and nachos, I'm staying awake. I had to cut down the soda intake as my bladder's starting to get full.

After the film, I went to the bathroom directly then we decided to sit in the lounge for a few more minutes before going home. I had this inkling feeling like he's going to ask me about my views so rather than him doing the questions, I opened my mouth first and spouted a bunch of nonsense.

For me, my time in here is borrowed and one day shall be returned.

It wasn't my intention to meddle deeply into this body's relationships, in fact, I wanted to stay clear and watch as life takes its course as I'm still hoping to return to the old me. I also got my own life. So going out with him today is me doing this body a favor, nothing else.

I only hope that my good deeds shall be reciprocated.

Dear God, Buddha, or anyone in heaven, let me live my life as me. Let me go back. Back to my own place.
