Not only was the huge enemy stunned by Qai's sudden appearance but also Ji Wuheng.

There was completely no sign of Qai's presence anywhere the area.

What Qai actually did was that he quickly activated his 'Flash' skill to evade the attack and simultaneously poured Qi energy into his Shadow Cloak to make himself invisible.

It should be remembered that the cultivation Qai and Ji Wuheng spent in the area made their skills much more profound so his 'Flash' skill together with the Wing Lightning boots became insanely fast.

But what surprised Ji Wuheng was the fact that Qai's presence could not be found.

After few breaths, Qai appeared behind the demonic beast Spider with a grin. He was actually about to unleash his strongest offensive skill.

And with just a simple nod to Shandian, the two released their skills at the same time from two sides.

'Thunderbolt.'

'Kggggzzzzzzzzzzzzzt.'

Two powerful lightning were conjured from inside the area and quickly struck the demonic beast.

It did not instantly kill the spider but it was enough to greatly damage its strength as it somehow burned its skin and legs to a certain degree.

Qai was quick to barrage more arrows after seeing that the demonic beast's defenses finally relaxed.

'Swooosh,' 'swooosh,' 'swooosh.'

'Baaaam,' 'baaam,' 'baaam.'

The spider retreated and was actually limping while crawling backwards back to the center of its web.

Ji Wuheng who was still in daze suddenly found an opportunity to finally attack. He immediately gathered his Qi and activated his trump skill.

'Cyclone!'

All of a sudden an air mass rotated around the place and the inward spiraling winds rioted towards the area where the huge spider retreated.

'Wabaaaaaaaaam.'

It was Ji Wuheng's strongest skill and it so far it hadn't failed him every time he used it.

The wind it created was so destructive that the already damaged demonic beast got blown away and slammed its huge body into a corner.

Ji Wuheng then leapt forwards and sliced his arms in mid air created and mid ranged sharp blades.

'Wind Blades.'

The final blow slashed through the body of the demonic beast and split the spider into parts.

'Baaaam.'

Ji Wuheng landed on the ground gasping for air. He apparently used up a lot of Qi into those two attacks to secure the victory. Right there and then, he sat in a lotus position and took in a couple of medicinal pills to help him recover his Qi fast.

Qai on the other hand rushed to the dead body of the Spider right after he summoned his contracted demonic beast back into his spatial pendant.

The reason he leapt towards the dead body was that he immediately noticed something that radiated with Qi energy.

Ji Wuheng's initial thought was that Qai would take the spider's core and other valuable parts.

But Qai scanned through an internal organ then took out a sharp dagger and cut the bloodied internal portion of the dead demonic beast.

All of a sudden three huge dark colored eggs radiating with pure Qi bared in front of Qai.

Qai paused for a moment and tried to think deeply at the current situation. The three eggs were definitely more valuable than any other parts of the dead huge spider. But with three eggs, it would be difficult to split them between him and the young sect genius.

He then sighed before he uttered some words.

"I'll take one of the eggs and its core and hides," Qai suggested. "You can take the other two."

Ji Wuheng was surprised that Qai did not fight for the entire spoils. With his current depleted strength versus Qai's invisibility ability, no one could tell who would end up dead.

He thus stood up and immediately agreed with Qai's offer.

Qai on the other hand slid one of the eggs in his spatial ring. With his 'Hawkeye' skill, he easily picked the one with the purest Qi.

'This one should have the highest probability to have the same elemental affinity with the mother,' Qai thought.

One should know that the egg was not yet considered a wild beast so he could not tame it into a domesticated demonic beast and place it in his Chui Shui.

Most beast eggs could survive in spatial rings for a while since the egg shells themselves were protective barriers containing energy.

Qai also took out the beast core and other valuable materials from the dead spider.

After resting for a bit, the two decided to finally decided to leave the underground passage.

"Let's go."

Qai and Ji Wuheng did not know that they practically spent three nights traversing the underground passage.

When they finally reached the entrance of the tomb, they were fortunate that the mist was once again present so they were able to come out of the 'real' forbidden Hundred Graves with ease—although by the time they appeared the door, the mist was already starting to dissipate.

"We made it in time!" Ji Wuheng exclaimed.

There were still a handful of cultivators around the area but most of the tombs seemed to have already been ransacked.

The couldn't understand why no one else followed them down in the underground passage, but after careful thinking they realized that they must have taken every valuable treasure along the way so cultivators who attempted to take a peek within the passage must have turned their backs halfway after realizing that the tomb was after all empty.

The two decided to head their way to the portal together to assure that no muggers would attack them.

With their combined strength and Ji Wuheng's fame among the present cultivators within the forbidden grounds, no one would dare to attack them.
