Qai and Ji Wuheng easily found their way out of the forbidden Hundred Graves. And apart from occasional demonic beast attack, the two reached the inn in Rockfield Borough without any difficulty.

"This should do it," Ji Wuheng said.

Qai simply nodded and quickly understood that they could now head their separate ways.

"Why don't you join our sect?" Ji Wuheng suddenly asked.

He already figured out throughout their short adventure together that Qai had no affiliation with any sect so he thought of recruiting him.

The young sect genius relayed that he would be soon fighting for the seat of Head Disciple among the core disciples so in a sense he could possibly have some power within Scarlet Feather Sect.

Besides, with Qai's strength and battle power, he could easily become one of the top inner disciples and had a strong possibility to be part of the core disciples.

"With your strength, you will soar higher with a sect's help," Ji Wuheng said.

His actual intention was actually to recruit Qai and should he become an inner disciple or even core disciple, he would have a strong member in his fold supporting him in his aim to become the Head Disciple.

Qai looked into the horizon and sighed. He had rough estimates of the benefits a sect could bring to a cultivator. From cultivation knowledge, resources and skills alone, one could easily see the difference. Had he not met Ji Wuheng, he would not gain knowledge about about Inheritance rank items and its refinement process and about Teleportation Arrays.

However, Qai had obviously a larger goal than just being a 'disciple.'

"I am already content with my path," Qai replied in rejection.

Ji Wuheng looked deeply in Qai. He was not necessarily offended, but looking at Qai, he couldn't think of any reason why would a cultivator resist such an offer.

But he knew Qai was not a simple cultivator so he thought that Qai must have its own reasons.

"See you then someday," Ji Wuheng said with a sigh.

After Qai said his thanks, he quickly left the town and headed south of the region.

But before he left, he looked back into the direction of the forbidden Hundred Graves.

'Teleportation Array,' he said to himself.

He then recalled the small stone tablet in his spatial ring and thought of few things he wanted to try in the future. He knew that the thing in his possession was the missing key to activate the Ancient Teleportation Array.

Now that he had an idea of what the stone was for, the only remaining treasure he had questions of was the rusty small sword he found.

He turned his back and sighed.

'It seems one year is not enough,' Qai said to himself.

He had plenty of places in his mind that he actually wanted to see but the remaining time before the Gathering of the Five Great Sects was slowly approaching. So he thought of just passing by the south of the region known for having plenty of flying demonic beasts.

In his mind, it would be his last stop before heading back home. And his goal was to tame a flying steed!

He had actually thought of visiting Feng Li's small Panthera Tribe in the far south but it did not seem possible with the current speed of his travel. So he decided to just see it some other time.

Unknown to Qai however, a group of five cultivators from a mile away was secretly following him.

'Shua!'

***************

"We're looking for new sets of inner armors for each of us," a group of five Sky stage Sages inquired inside 'The Hunters' Plateau' shop.

One of them had a grim look.

She had been itching to just destroy the place for having stolen her family's 'clan name.'

Apart from that, the receptionist who faced them was actually a young mortal. Of all the persons who would steal her family's name, he would entrust it to a mere mortal!

But her group had earlier warned her since they found out that it was the best place to find quality armors with the cheapest price and the fact that the place was actually emitting an Emperor Qi aura.

Besides, she was actually trying to find her luck to buy 'Flight' skill and her companions told her that this shop might have one.

She was of course, Qai's older sister Shu Liang.

However, her anger quickly subsided and her eyes bulged out when Dong Fei appeared with two familiar demonic beasts—the two Silvermoon Apes.

The domesticated demonic beasts who were familiar with her jumped with joy towards her and started to lower their heads as if they wanted to be pet by the young cultivator.

The group of cultivators were stunned by the sudden scene unfolding right before their very eyes and quickly figured out that Shu Liang had been mistaken all along—the shop must have been related to her family.

On the other hand, Dong Fei and Dong Li's eyes furrowed for a moment but suddenly recalled that description Qai told them about his big sister.

"You must be big sister Shu Liang!" Dong Li exclaimed.

Shu Liang looked curiously looked at the siblings with confused look.

"This is master Qai's shop," Dong Fei quickly added.

"Eh!?"

Shu Liang's companions were also a bit confused and wanted to know what was going on so they just stood and watch.

"You mean this is little Qai's shop?"
