Giving the mixture to Emily, Nathalie said, "So this is the mixture, just be careful and only take a little bit. I cannot bare the mind of seeing you hurt." The second sentence came out of nowhere. Nathalie's cheeks again started to blush. She just hoped that Emily did not hear it.
Seeing the cheeks redden Emily just smiled sweetly towards Nathalie as she took the vial from her hand. She did not hide the fact that she heard the second sentence. Instead started to talk a bit more playfully, "Don't worry about it, I will only take a small amount. And I have you here with me if something happens. I am sure that you will save me when I need it."
Feeling a bit nervous, Nathalie saw Emily take a small sip of the mixture. Nathalie could feel her heart beating in her throat. She was feeling terrified that something will happen to Emily. This all worsened when she heard Emily scream in agonizing pain as she holds her stomach. Rushing to Emily's side, Nathalie felt at a loss. This scene brought back what she witnessed with the accident. Nathalie froze at the spot for a few seconds, before finally being able to move her muscles.
As she was about to pick up Emily from the ground to bring to Stacy, she felt a hand grabbing at her arm. "No, don't bring me to Stacy, I can bear…. AARRGH!" Emily couldn't finish her sentence as another rush of pain came across her. Not caring what Emily said, Nathalie unconsciously picked her up. As she was walking towards the door, she stopped. For some reason she fully believed that Emily was able to win against this pain. Thus she turned around and walked towards the bedroom.
Putting Emily on her bed, she sat next to her, holding her hands tightly. "No matter what happens, I will never leave you side again!" Nathalie said with full confident to Emily. Seeing Emily in pain, her eyes started to water again, as she could not control her feelings anymore.

15 minutes had passed by when Emily took a sip of the mixture. It was already 10 minutes that Emily passed out from the pain. Nathalie felt despair in her heart every passing minute. Not removing her gaze from Emily's face, Nathalie tightens her grip on Emily's hand.
At that moment, she felt the hand of Emily move, as she slowly started to open her eyes. "You are such watery eyes, you have to control yourself. You will be the savior of the witches." Emily said weakly as she removed a tear from Nathalie's eye.
Feeling a rush of emotions, Nathalie hugged Emily tightly as she tried some of her tears away. Seeing the exhausted yet cute face of Emily, her face unconsciously got closer to Emily's face. At that moment, without realizing, she kissed Emily on her lips from the happiness she felt.
As Nathalie came back to herself, she realized what she just had done and pushed herself away from Emily and walked with a rush outside of the room. This was such an awkward situation that she just created, facing Emily again would probably be impossible.
To avoid Emily for a while, Nathalie exited the building to take a walk in the forest.

After spending close to an hour walking around in the forest, Nathalie arrived back at the tower. As she was about to enter the tower again, Nathalie though, "I will have to face her again, better now than never I guess."
As she opened up the door, she saw Emily waiting there for her. Her powers had returned to her as she was able to easily walk around. Nathalie heard the warming voice of Emily again, "Welcome back Miss, I have been waiting for you." Her smile disappeared as she angrily said, "Don't ever do something like that again to me."
Hearing these words, Nathalie could feel her hearth shatter. The kiss she gave probably ruined all the relationship and friendship she had with Emily. Nathalie did not know if she would be able to bear with that pain.
Blushing a bit, Emily said in a soft, yet sweet voice, "Next time, I expect you to finish what you started, and also give me a chance to react to it. I barley enjoyed it, so I expect more from you next time."
These words were a surprise to Nathalie. She was currently in a rollercoaster of feelings. From an awkward situation, to a heart break, to the happiest moment in her life. Nodding with a smile, Nathalie hugged Emily and whispered in her ear, "I will keep that in mind, I am sorry for leaving you hanging at such a moment." After finishing what she said, Nathalie felt only right to give Emily another kiss. But this time, she did not move at all, and just stood there taking in everything and enjoying the moment.
