It's morning. Naota got up before everyone. "Let's see...What other abilities do I have other then hand-to-hand combat." Naota begins to observe his ability tree. "Martial arts is under the hand-to-hand combat tree but it needs 2 points. I also have street-fighter. Kinda reminds of the game street fighter. Grappler huh? That's an interesting one." Naota's attention moves over to another tree. "I also have swords under that I have dual swords, dagger and knife."
"Naota...Why are you up so early?" Maria asks Naota as she yawns and enters the living room. "Well...I just have a habit to get up early." Naota says with a smile. Maria then goes to the bathroom.
(Because of my school life it's a habit I am very familiar with.)
"That's a pretty bad habit, big brother." Lily says as she yawns and enters the living room.
(Guess both of the had a good night.)
Naota smiles.
Naota gets up, "I am going on a jog." Naota says. "A jog?" Maria looks confused. "Yep! I need to keep my body feet after all." Naota says with a smile as he makes his way towards the entrance. "Alright, just be safe then." Maria says to Naota as she peaks out of the bathroom. "Yeah, don't go causing trouble." Lily says to Naota.
(What kind of trouble am I going to cause considering I got into trouble yesterday just for talking along with the city lord's fiance.)
"Sure thing." Naota says as he leaves the house.
Naota begins to jog early in the morning. It's cold and Naota's leaves smog out of his mouth as he runs. "Damn...It's almost as if it's December over here." Naota says as he runs in the town.
Naota notices an empty ground. "I can exercise over there." Naota says as he makes his way towards the empty ground. Naota begins to exercise. He begins to do push-ups, sit-ups, stretch his body around, etc. Naota then gets ready to run. "Let's try super sprint..." Naota says. Naota begins to run around the open ground. Naota runs around for at least 20 rounds in 5 minutes. "20 rounds in 5 minutes huh?" Naota says as he sweats and pants.
(That makes 4 rounds of 20 kilometre per minute. While it would normally take around 40 minutes to run 20 kilometres, I made it in 1 minute. That is 10 folds of improvement due to my super sprint.)
Naota smiles.
(A pretty good start. I bet if I practice daily I can improve my speed by a lot. I don't know what the max speed I can reach with super sprint is...But it's pretty useful.)
"Are you Takaki Naota?" A voice of a male.
"Hmm?" Naota turns his neck. He sees that there several man not only behind him but surrounding him. "That would be me." Naota says as he keeps an eye around the ground. "What do you want?" Naota asks to the man who seems to be coming to close to him. "Nothing personal...BUT YOU HAVE TO DIE!" The man swings a knife at Naota. Naota bends his neck back by a little bit and dodges it.
(Where did he bring that knife from?)
Naota realises something.
(Behind me!)
Naota dodges a pipe that was about to hit him and gets back to his normal position.
(This is bad, I can't take all of them at once.)
Naota begins to observe.
(A sword!)
"GIVE ME YOUR LEGS!" Naota jumps in the air as one of the people around him swings it at his legs.
(I have to super sprint my way out of here!)
Naota gets ready to run. He gets past everyone in the open ground.
(I can't fight those people in a group but if I can somehow find them in an one-on-one situation...)
Naota runs out of his sprint speed and takes a hard breathe. "Damn...Why are they attacking me...? What have I even done to them?" Naota says as he pants.
"Good question, what have you done to us." A man in red robe appears behind Naota. Naota backs off. The man in red robe smiles. "My name is, Freddy Pruter. Nice to meet you, Takaki Naota." The man says to Naota.
"Freddy Pruter huh? Why are you guys so eager to kill me?" Naota asks Freddy. "Naota, Naota, you are such a child. You didn't even know that you offended the city lord, do you now?" Freddy asks Naota. "I...Offended the city lord? How though?" Naota asks Freddy. "I have no idea but the city lord is very angry with you and wants you dead." Freddy says to Naota. "But I have different plans for you." Freddy says to Naota. "What do you mean?" Naota asks Freddy. "Meet me at that empty ground at midnight, I want to have a nice and long chat with you." Freddy says with a smile. "And what if I don't come?" Naota asks Freddy. "Then I have two of your near and dear friends. One is that prostitute Maria and other is that little cutsy...What's her name again...Lily yeah. I will just have to kill them then you." Freddy says. Naota's eyes turn hostile towards Freddy.
(He isn't lying...I can see his evil intent in his eyes.)
"If you do anything either of those two...I will make sure that you never ever get out of your house again." Naota says to Freddy. Naota's angry eyes look right into Freddy's eyes. "Oh don't worry, I am a very gentle man. I also do not like paedophilia and I definitely don't like sex with a girl I do not love." Freddy says as she begins to frail his hand around. "I will meet you at midnight...Until then, don't die." Freddy says with a smile as he leaves.
(Freddy Pruter...That man...He is dangerous...I can just feel it...Whatever the case, I have to meet him at midnight or else...Tsch!)
"Get him!" More men begin to arrive from the back alley. Naota begins to run away.
(Shit! For now, I just have to stay safe and not get into any dangerous fights.)

(Shit! For now, I just have to stay safe and not get into any dangerous fights.)
