Zylvia was glad that she had alerted her husband to the possibility of her being pregnant. His reaction had been filled with enthusiasm. It had been fun to see him get so excited over just the idea.

Kaldrek walked her back to where their queen would be, with a huge grin on his face. She turned to him before going in the door, and smiled shyly at him. Without hesitation he brushed his lips softly against hers, "I'll see you later, love."

"Yeah. See you," A slight flush came to her cheeks and she gave her man a bright smile. Then she turned and went in the door.

Fayre smiled at her happily, "Well? Did you tell him?"

"I did. He was ecstatic." Zylvia sat down as she was speaking taking up her current sewing project.

"Of course he was." Fayre shook her head, "I figure he wants this as much as you do."

"Doubtful." Zylvia hummed, "But he does want it about as much I think."

She was pretty sure that Kaldrek wanted a family of his own just like she did. Both of them had lost their birth parents fairly early in life, though her husband could at least remember his father some. Not that they were ever all alone. Kaldrek had been taken in by Jayesh's father and she, well, had had Celia.

Still, having a real family of their own would be nice. Especially as it was together.

She really hoped that she was pregnant. The desire to hold her own little one grew stronger every time she saw someone else's kid.

And having a kid that was about her best friend's only child's age would be wonderful. They would be able to grow up together, play together, even learn together. It would really be perfect.

Really, this would be a really good time for her to be pregnant with her firstborn. At least as far as she was concerned. Others might not think so, as there were issues that were going on. But if she was to wait for the world to be perfect than she would never have children.

"Your mind seems to be drifting, Zylv. Everything okay? Or are you thinking of your dear sorcerer?" Fayre's teasing voice broke into Zylvia's thoughts.

A slow flush came to Zylvia's cheeks as she gave a soft laugh. "Neither, really. My mind was on children."

"Ah." Fayre nodded her head sagely, "I can understand that. You do need to start making plans for such things, huh?"

"Yeah. I don't think either me or Kaldrek were daring to hope for the possibility to come so soon." Zylvia refused to fully believe that she was pregnant. It would be crushing if she was not. So no matter how much she wanted to believe it, she called it only a possibility.

Though she was refusing to fully believe it she treated it as a very real possibility. After all, worst thing if she treated it as real and she was not it would be disappointing. But that was way better than actually being pregnant and having a miscarriage due to mishandling. It was better to be cautious rather than not.
