"Damnit Lachlan, you shouldn't have killed him," James said with a sigh. Although he also wouldn't have hesitated to kill, especially if that someone murders children, he has the position to do such as thing.

But Lachlan doesn't have a military position, meaning the higher-ups will think of him as a threat considering his overwhelming strength. Not to mention that more than half of the higher-ups have a similar opinion to Josh, as much as he hated it.

"And he shouldn't have killed them," All James received was a cold reply. Lachlan didn't care about the consequences, he only cares about doing what he feels like doing. And considering Josh's opinion put his sister and many other children in dangerous positions, Lachlan doesn't think they're qualified to be protecting the people.

"Listen, you need to leave quickly because I can't do much now. The most I can do is get my soldiers to let you through, obviously, those are my soldiers only which means all of Josh's soldiers might attack you," James informed Lachlan.

"That'll be plenty, I do hope we can continue to keep our friendly relationship, I don't want to fight you," Lachlan said as he hopped onto Calamity and shot into the sky. He really didn't want to fight against James as his Navy, there were many good people in the Navy, people that had a similar opinion to him.

"I do as well," James muttered under his breath as he watched Lachlan's figure slowly fade into the distance. James didn't want to fight Lachlan for the reason that they might not win. James knew about all the training they've probably done on that island and he knows it'll be enough for a normal person to compete against beasts.

That's saying something. No normal person can fight against a beast even if they put decades into training on the mainland.

Lachlan flew out of the city quickly. He wanted to get out as fast as possible, staying any longer will bring his sister into a battle that he doesn't know whether or not he'll be able to protect her.

*Bang*

Lachlan quickly ducked once he heard the sound. A bullet came flying past him, just barely scraping his back. Although it hurt, the pain could never compare to his eyes.

Although the bullet past Lachlan knew it wouldn't be the last one. He heard a volley of guns firing off in the distance. He could hear the bullets splitting the air apart as they came flying towards him. All with the intent of avenging their pathetic leader.

Lachlan continued to dodge, but there was only so much he could do. And although his stats allowed him to survive the hits. It didn't mean there wasn't any pain or damage. A few bullets shot through his shoulder making a bloody mess.

He had also been hit in the leg, the calm specifically. The bullet went straight through his muscle and between the bones. The bullets stopped firing as he managed to get further away, slowly reaching a distance at which the soldiers couldn't accurately shoot him.

Lachlan felt his strong vitality going to work. As his wounds healed the burning sensation made his ride back uncomfortable. Fortunately, it was only uncomfortable, he still managed to make it back in one piece.

The others saw what condition Lachlan was in, Chloe immediately sprinted over and ripped some of her clothes off, quickly wrapping it tightly around Lachlan's leg. For the shoulder, there wasn't much they could do for where they were.

They either needed to find a doctor willing to help or use the berries. Lachlan was rather hesitant and didn't use them. They were a one-use item that could bring someone from the brink of death. They shouldn't be used recklessly, even with his condition.

"What did you do?" Chloe asked as she wiped the blood off his skin. She could already tell Lachlan did something he shouldn't have, she saw it in his eyes as he left.

"Well we can no longer trust the military, although fortunately, we can still keep a relatively friendly relationship with the Sea Guardians," Lachlan explained as he squinted his eyes from the slight pain.

"Well isn't that just great, you just had to make a very large enemy didn't you?" Chloe felt her head spin when she heard what Lachlan said. She couldn't believe how relaxed he wasn, it was as though it didn't matter at all.

"Haha, yeah, sorry about that," Lachlan said as he scratched his head. He knew that the Land and Sky Guardians will cause problems for them later considering their group's opinions greatly differ from theirs.

But since James had a similar opinion that meant there might be more. Possibly some people in much higher positions have a similar opinion. Lachlan hoped that there were some anyway. But for now, they'll have to deal with their own problems.

"Bloodied Wings," Flynn suddenly said from behind Lachlan. Flynn was staring at Lachlan's back, it was covered in blood. But beyond that blood were the wing tattoos, he put the two together and boom, "That'll be the organisation's name."

"Bloodied Wings? Sounds like an odd name," Chloe said. She knew her husbands naming abilities were horrible considering he spent hours searching for a name for Sophie and all he could come up with was the name of a goddess he simply googled. She had to take control and give her a normal name.

"I quite like it, sounds slightly intimidating, it's also a name that represents our determination, I think it'll do great," Lachlan responded joyfully. He liked the name, he thought it could do great in the future.

"So, where do we go now?" Chloe said as she finished tying up Lachlan's bandaids. Since they were going to be treated as criminals it wouldn't make much sense to just waltz back into the city.

"Well, I suppose we can start migrating to the island now," Lachlan suggested. Since they were going there anyway, he didn't see an issue with going now. They'll just be slightly rushed, it didn't matter too much.

"Alright, I'll message the others to meet up and come back to the island while we go," Chloe said.

"Message the others?" Lachlan asked. He doesn't remember anyone ever trading numbers, or ever having phones for that matter.

Although he did have a phone he left it at Alice Springs because he thought it wouldn't be useful. And would just take up space and possibly distract him.

"Yeah, just after you left James gave us high tech phones that are well equipped for us to message or talk over long distances," Chloe explained as he took out her phone. It was entirely black, there wasn't anything flashy about it so it didn't stand out.

"Damn, do you think I could get one?" Lachlan felt like he missed out.

"Sometime later, but for now let's focus on getting to the island," Chloe said. She remembered that Lachlan had been fighting the military, there was a chance they tracked him here.

"Okay, everyone get on Aaron," Lachlan ordered as Aaron created a ramp with its wings. Everyone hopped on, they shot off into the distance away from the soldiers. Although it would take slightly longer for them to make it to the island Lachlan didn't see a problem in taking the safe route.
