This sword stab was executed in such a quick moment, and the opponent managed to dodge it frantically. Even though her sword did not hit her target, but it did draw a wound that was neither too deep or too shallow, and blood started to surge out.
The throat was one of the vital points. There were many blood vessels in the neck so even though it was only a slash, the attack reduced his life bar to less than half. His face paled and immediately pressed against his wound to prevent more blood loss, and he was busily defending instead of chasing after Xia Mo.
As she was on guard against the baldie behind her, even though she managed to attack successfully, she did not launch the next attack. Instead, Xia Mo retreated a distance away to avoid the next swing of the sword by the baldie. Noticing that she planned to escape, he immediately blocked her retreat route.
Xia Mo was now stuck in between both men and she removed any thoughts of escaping. She frowned and without hesitation, she stabbed her swords out again. As the short hair guy perceived that she was on defence mode earlier, he was caught off guard by the sudden change in her movements. He paid a price for his carelessness and he was stabbed in the chest by Xia Mo’s sword in her right hand.
Once she grasped that she had thrust her sword to her target, Xia Mo did not pay attention to the status of the short hair guy. Since he was attacked twice, even if he was not dead, if he had no medicine on him, he would not last long anyway.
She pulled her sword out to deal with the baldie. At this moment, the baldie had jumped high up into the air, with both hands raising the sword high up to prepare to strike at Xia Mo. She had no time to prepare for a new attack and could only defend.
She reverse held the long sword in her left hand, and held it horizontally in front of her arm and raise it up to block the ferocious attack by the baldie.
To maximise the damage of a sword, one had to thrust with it. And to do the same with a knife was to slash with it. This baldie obviously did not understand how a long sword should be used. Therefore, even though the attack was vicious, it was not deadly at all. However, this attack made her left hand felt numb as this attack contained all the strength by the baldie. Her long sword nearly dropped to the ground.
She gritted her teeth and blocked it head on. Her half kneeling right leg was now on the ground. She stared at him without losing any focus.
The baldie saw her right leg was forced on the rocks. He was weary of her and afraid to be killed by her since she had already took the life of the other three men.
But a female was still a female, and she had battle for quite some time. Even though she was at an advantage earlier, but her condition had deteriorated, especially when he saw her kneeling on the ground, this gave him a sign that victory was in his hands.
He started to become arrogant. When he saw Xia Mo’s bloodied face with her eyes full of killing intent that it was chilling to his soul, he could not control how his heart felt.
When he glanced at the other two young ladies on the ground, he felt that they were too boring. He licked his tongue on his lips, and smiled,” Beautiful lady, how about this? Let’s end this battle. If you become my woman, I will make you so ecstatic that you would feel like dying.”
Xia Mo had a hint of anger in her eyes, but it disappeared in an instant and her stare was so eerie quiet like a deep dark lake.
“Don’t be shy. We are all adults. Since we can do what we want here, let’s be happy and enjoy. We don’t need to resort to killing,” the baldie happily explained. In his heart, however he knew that this girl was cruel and she was even unmoved after killing three men.
He increased his strength of his sword on her even more to overpower her.
Suddenly he felt there was a violent pain at the back of his head. His vision started to blur. He did not get a chance to turn around and sighed in his heart. And his whole body slumped to the ground.
Xia Mo pushed away the baldie on her body, and panted heavily with every breath. She looked at Lushan Baomu who was standing there in a daze with a rock in his hands.
She felt her throat burning, and every saliva she swallowed was like a knife cutting her. She sat on the ground and left her weapons to her side. Xia Mo kicked the baldie next to her and with her husky voice,” Is he dead?”
Lushan Baomu was still stunned. After hearing what Xia mo said, he reacted after a while, and nodded his head: “The game announced that he was dead.”
Xia Mo left out a long breath, nodded her head, and closed her eyes to recover her stamina. The youngster saw the deep wound on her and quickly took out some thistles from his backpack. He quickly stuffed and crushed the thistles in his mouth and then applied them on her wound. Finally, he bandaged it carefully.
After finishing, he had an intention to see how the other two young girls were doing. However, he was still frightened by the headless corpse. Xia Mo knew what he was thinking, and explained, “The corpse can be destroyed.”
She picked up the long sword next to the baldie and threw it to him. “Your reward.”
Lushan Baomu was scared by the long sword tossed to him, as he was fearful that the sword might hurt him, and murmured, “I don’t know how to use…”
Xia Mo frowned slightly, and thought of something. He threw a dagger from her bag to him.
“That dagger is yours. The long sword is mine.” As she was speaking, she retrieved the long sword from the ground and continued,” Gather all the belongings that these men have. Especially the coins in their bags.”
After hearing that he had to take care of the corpses, Lushan Baomu shivered again in fear and wanted to say something. But Xia Mo stared at him coldly,” Any question?”
“No, no!” he realized instantly that Xia Mo was so many times scarier than the headless corpse!
