Jayne was left dumbfounded. She didn't know how to react. She pulled him up and hugged him in the next instant. They ended up falling on the cot with Ronnie above Jayne. She said in between crying, "I love you Ronnie. I'm all yours. Only yours. All my life. Irrespective of my past life, you are my everything now."
Ronnie lost his mind with the sudden pull and the hug later. His mind totally blanked out after "I love you Ronnie." Unknowingly he tightened his arms around her waist. She buried her head in his chest still crying.
Ronnie got back to his senses now. He knew that she was currently overwhelmed with her emotions. Hence he didn't want to continue any further. He loosened his grip around her and freed himself.
Both of their faces was now burning with embarrassment. He lovingly cupped her cheek and looked into her eyes again and said, "Jayne you stole my line. This was not the way I imagined I would propose to the woman of my life. But yes, how many people get such meaningful moments to declare their life. I'm indeed lucky to have you. I love you my dearest wife," and once again embraced her.
They remained like this for what seemed like eternity. Then Jayne's head started hurting. She let out a small "ouch!"
Ronnie immediately got alert. He said, " Jayne I'm sorry. Where does it hurt? Shall I call in the medical practitioner?" the sweet moment they were enjoying a minute ago turned into panic all of a sudden.
Jayne then remembered that she had to take her medicine. She told Ronnie," Don't worry. I guess it's because I haven't taken the medicine yet. Let's go eat something first and then I'll take the medicine.
Ronnie clearly looked worried. "I swear I won't let you suffer once we get away from here Jayne."
"Okay hubby." she beamed in spite of the pain.
Ronnie then rubbed her shoulder lovingly and said, "Be a good girl. Behave while I go get breakfast for you."
She didn't look at him but nodded in assurance.
Ronnie then walked out of the house while his face was still red due to their activity
A feeling of awe transformed her face. Her face turned pink. She was overwhelmed with the turn of events in the last few hours. Moments ago, they were just Ronnie and Jayne. They turned husband and wife within minutes. She quietly laid down on the cot with her eyes closed.
Thinking of the incidents which happened, Jayne hugged herself and her mind drifted to some serious thoughts, 'Now that I've lost my memory, I don't even know about my previous life. What about my past love life? Did I have a boyfriend or husband? If I get married to Ronnie, what about him? She was struck in a dilemma'
Before she could realise, she had already drifted into a slumber amidst her thoughts going hayward due to the sudden stress.
In her dream, 'Don't worry my child. Just go with the flow,' it was the same sweet grandma's voice.
