Virat and Sanvi had their flight scheduled at half past two, the same flight in which Ronnie and Maya had left the country last time. They reached London and reported at their office as Interns. They were slowly getting accustomed to the foreign lifestyle.
Sanvi and Virat chose to rent an apartment and together. They chose one close to their company since it would be easy to commute to office everyday.
On the other hand, Jayne was busy with her classes at the University and works at the company. She made sure to use minimal investment maximising the profit percent. Sometimes, even she herself was shocked at how effortlessly she was handling the situation.
Shirley was working overtime in creating new designs. Within the next three days she'd the designs ready. She looked for Jayne to finalise the designs so that it could be sent for implementation.
After careful scrutiny, Jayne finalised on a few designs. She immediately sent them to arrange for the raw materials required, fabrics, sewing threads, buttons, hand tags, and other accessories.
Later, it was sent to the Layout department to do the cutting who could then send them to the Sewing department and bring over the samples for approval before mass production.
The entire process was well-organised. So, all the departments coordinated with each other and successfully brought out the samples within the weekend.
Jayne called for a Board meeting with all the Heads to seek their opinion. She asked her in-laws to come over as well. During the meeting, she briefly outlined the entire process to everyone present along with the product cost for each apparel.
After receiving the go-ahead to these samples, mass production began simultaneously. But Jayne was careful enough to limit the number. Since the designs were ready, she could anytime increase the production if the demand increased.
Now, Jayne had to concentrate on the advertising and marketing part. The existing stores were in the process of re-modelling. New stores were also in the process of acquisition as Jayne had already requested her father-in-law.
Shirley was quite free after the designing. She was leisurely working with the old stocks at her studio in the Company. Jayne finished her classes for the day and directly came to meet Shirley.
"Hey Shirley!" Jayne greeted.
"Hey gorgeous!" Shirley gushed. She was impressed on looking at Jayne. Today she'd worn a white woman's slim-fit business suit. It gave her an extra elegance.
"If your hubby had seen you like this…..fill in the blanks yourself...." Shirley winked at Jayne.
"Since when did you start pulling my leg Shirley!" Jayne pouted.
Shirley let out a laughter.
"Shirley, listen to me. I've something important to discuss with you." Jayne hurriedly pulled out a chair.
Shirley's forehand creased, "Jayne, is everything alright?"
Jayne bit her lip, "Shirley, it's nothing. I feel we should start shooting for the advertisements now." A ray of light flickered past her eye as she set her palms down flat on the table.
"Haha, yes Jayne. This is probably the most appropriate time. By the time we shoot and air the commercial, even our stocks will be ready to be despatched to the stores." Shirley agreed.
"Shirley, let me explain a concept I've thought of… We can get the most popular, top grossing pop stars to shoot our advertisement. These commercials can be aired on MTV exactly after that artist's song. What do you think Shirley?" Jayne briefly outlayed her plan to Shirley.
