After having their breakfast Jayne and Ronnie went in search of Da Nuru. He looked like he'd just then woke up. He was sitting on a bench outside his house basking in the early morning rays of sunlight.
Seeing Jayne and Ronnie walking towards him, he suddenly started blushing. Probably he remembered his wedding night. He felt like they were coming to tease him on that.
At first though Ronnie and Jayne didn't have any plans to tease him, it was Da Nuru himself who gave them ideas to tease him. Thus the couple began teasing him.
"Brother Nuru, how was your wedding night?" Ronnie winked at Nuru while questioning him.
Da Nuru pinched the area between his eyebrows. He realised that they're not going to let him off so easily. His blush started getting deeper. He only said, "It was good. Please spare me the details."
Jayne and Ronnie laughed hysterically and stopped when Da Nuru's new wife came out to serve them a sweet dish and some tea.
They happily ate and made more fun of him.
Then Ronnie asked Da Nuru, "Now that Jayne's getting better, we plan to leave brother. So how about you talk this to the Chief and let's all leave?"
Da Nuru answered, "Yes brother even I've come here only for the wedding. I need to get back to my sweater stall. I'll talk about this with my wife and parents. We shall leave tomorrow morning. Will that be okay with you two?"
Jayne and Ronnie nodded and thanked him and left. They went back to their room.
"Jayne, since its our last day here why don't we just walk around here in the woods. We can also thank everyone here personally and come back to pack our stuffs and leave in the morning." Ronnie suggested.
Jayne was excited to go out and explore the woods since she was sleeping all these days on the bamboo cot unable to get up. This opportunity to freely walk around was something she wanted. Now what Ronnie suggested she happily obliged.
They both then walked out together and outside their house they met Chief's whole family sitting and happily chatting.
They were glad to see them. They quickly bowed to all of them and told Da Nuru, "Brother we'll be going out for a stroll in the woods. We'll be back soon."
"Sure brother. Have fun. Be careful on your way. Don't get into the deeper forest or you might get lost." Da Nuru cautioned.
"Not again brother. Will not make that mistake of venturing alone by myself." Ronnie laughed and they both left.
Just as they were walking, they both stumbled over a piece of log and fell down. Due to the sudden fall, Ronnie was now lying under Jayne. Both were in an awkward position. Their faces were just inches apart.
Jayne slightly coughed and tried to get up but failed since their legs were tangled. She was blushing and hence couldn't look at Ronnie. She tried again. But this time too she failed. Seeing her trying so hard to get up and trying even harder to conceal her blush, Ronnie too tried hard not to laugh. He was silently savouring that moment. He had no intention of getting up.
He finally let go off her and they both stood up. Jayne tried to walk away from him unable to face him. But Ronnie immediately caught her by her wrist and pulled her closer to him. She then turned towards him. She was breathing heavily. He was happy to see her red face which was now the colour of a tomato.
