"The entire race?" Aleister paced the living room. "Yes." He and Akumura fought for control fiercely, to the point where their hair became gray rather than black or white. "And we're sure he killed Oberon?" I nodded, "There's no way he could've survived that."

"Damnit!" Aleister slammed his fists on the wall. "We struggled to take out my father," his breathing started to become fast, "And what do we have now? Someone who killed his equal with ease!" Pisces comforted Brit, who for once was showing an emotion other than mild annoyance. She was scared. "Brit," Jamie looked at her, "You said that he gave Oberon a choice, right?" She nodded. "I think we can use something." Aleister and Jamie looked toward Jamie. "He seems to enjoy deals. If we manage to strike a deal with him, then we can avoid conflict entirely."

"And if he doesn't?" Bill asked.

"That's why we have you. Make sure that we have at least a small army of Demons. Our first objective should be to avoid conflict, and the more Demons we have gathered, the more likely it is that Lucifer will attack without consideration."

"So, how many are we talking then? 500? 250?"

"50. Or less. We need to be sure that this goes exactly to plan." Jamie looked at me. "Can you try to get Hellsing on this too? I know she specializes in Vampires, but we need as much help as we can get." I nodded, "I'll try."

Hellsing's office had changed quite a bit since I had last been there. Instead of being almost barren, the walls were lined with assorted knives, and bottles if what I assumed was Holy Water were scattered around the room. "Miss Topaz, what brings you here today?" She folded her hands on her desk exactly how Chasan did.

"Are you aware of Lucifer's existence?"

"Somewhat. Why do you ask?"

"He's planning an attack on Earth. As far as we know, it's just him, and he's coming in 2 months." Hellsing was silent for three minutes, occasionally mumbling to herself, but ultimately, not saying anything. Her mind was a different story, however. Her thoughts were all over the place, questioning why I asked her, if this could be used as a one-up on Vampires, and how she'd even pull something like this off. "I'll do it," She said, "Under the condition that when you inherit this company, you ensure it continues to fund the Hellsing organization and Iscariot. If we survive, then I still want to ensure I can try to keep the world safe from other threats." I nodded.

"Understood." I walked out of the office.
