Chapter 45

If audio player doesn't work, press Stop then Play button again

After warping to the kitchen, there stands the same mini kitchen that I used to have back when I first started living alone. The kitchen preparation table is cramped, the sink is small and instead of a portable cooking stove, all I have is this single dennetsuki.

"Maybe it's about time for me to expand the kitchen"

Un. I do have some attachments towards this mini kitchen but I do want it to make it more convenient.

My skill "Summon Kitchen" is a mysterious skill where I am summoned into the kitchen, well no matter what I say it a skill where I can save up points and with the points, I saved up, I can exchange it for ingredients, kitchen goods and even expanding the kitchen itself.

"My points did increase a lot"

When I moved from the mini-kitchen towards the liquid crystal, all sorts of point history is posted in there. Ever since the demon beasts appeared, I couldn't help but gulp after seeing the points that increased in one go.

That's right. It all started because of that day when I made some detox water for the Kei Bihei brothers. Which is the reason why I was able to earn a lot of points.

"The Knight Guards' Gratitude", "The Knight Guards' Reverence", and "The Knight Guard's...other stuff similar to that" Etcetera, etcetera~

By cooking food, I'll be able to earn some points but the points will exponentially increase more if other people eat the food I cook.

I made detox water for ten people and what's more all of them are 'first-timers' so, with the bonus point, I was able to earn twice the norm.

1000 points multiply by two multiply by ten = 20000 pts!

"Twenty thousand points"

It's impossible not to grin after seeing this.

With this, it is possible for me to get expand the cooking preparation table and now the chopping board won't have to stick out at the sink.

That's why I just couldn't help but grin. However amidst all the series of "Knight Guard's~" There's one thing I'm really curious with.

That day, since I handed out to everyone the detox water, no matter how much I look and ponder about the meaning of the words poster at the liquid crystal...it really is puzzling.

 ―― "The Knight Guard's First Love" ...

"Does it mean someone fell in love with me?"

Maybe if I take it into its literal meaning then it's probably that. But it doesn't really sink in much. I have no idea who could it be.

Cause there's no way a person like that even exists. Someone who'll look at me with a hint of bashfulness in their eyes, someone who'll invite me out on dates or give me presents or something like that... ...

"Nope."

There's absolutely no one like that

Surprisingly so, that all I could remember is the part when Hurst-san cut someone's hair and rather than a bittersweet love all I could remember is the scent of Barber white polar bear.

"Well, Ryleigh-kun's expression at the time seems weird as well... ..."

In that case, isn't this just some faulty expression.

That's why I have a feeling that it's the same thing.

Rather than falling in love with me, it's more like the flavor of someone's memorable moments, something like the taste of first love.

"What a refreshing first love"**

With the mineral water, lemon, orange, European pear and with all sorts of herbs. The culmination of such.

"Its youth"

Something like the baseball club's manager.

"I'll bring you to Koshien"*** (I'll explain on t/n corner)

And among the points I have earned from the detox water, there are also some points I got from the Roast Chicken that I made with everyone. Even though the ingredients, cooking equipment and the place where we cooked it wasn't related to this kitchen. I was still able to earn some points.

"Preparing experience 100 points"

"Meal experience 1300 points"

"When cooking a dish, I could get a hundred points and if other people eat it, I wonder if another 100 points are added to it... ..."

Let's say this time, I made a roast chicken and that's 'cooking procedure part' and that's about 100 points and then Hurst-san, Ryleigh-kun, Thruster-san, Ash-san and then nine people from the Kei Bihei brothers had a 'Meal Experience'. There's thirteen of them so that's where the 1300 points came from.

"... ...So it really wouldn't increase even if I eat it."

Please give me one as well, "An OL's (Office Lady's) Bashfulness"

And I also discovered that even though they ate the roast chicken, everyone did not have any ability to boost. Their body wasn't enveloped in a bright shining light nor any black fog like thing appeared from their body.

From what it looks like, the dishes I make outside are just ordinary meals, no ability booster or healing attribute is included and that an ability boost and other buffs only happens when I make the dish using my skill, 'Summon Kitchen'.

So even if I make dishes without using my skill, I don't have to worry about my skill spreading around.

"But the points I can get are really low... ..."

That's why, if I don't use "Summon Kitchen" it would be harder for me to accumulate points. That's why it is much more efficient if I cook here, in this 'mini kitchen' and have Hurst-san and Ryleigh-kun eat my dishes to earn a lot more points.

In conclusion, the same thing is before will have to continue and I'll have to steadily amass points to attain my dream kitchen!

"Alright! Since I have already decided it's time to cook some food!"

After pressing some buttons here and there, I finally got some ingredients and cooking utensils that I'll be using.

First are the ingredients, milk, whip cream, and some apples and then for the utensils, I got a mixing bowl and a silver lid Tupperware and a measuring cup and digital scale.

"I always couldn't help but waver on which measuring type I should use... ..."

Cause there are all sorts of measuring cup and a digital scale with different pros and cons. There was even a point where I had to try different types of measuring equipment. For measuring cups there's a broad selection of them and if you categorize them there's the metal type, plastic-type and glass type.

The metal types are lasting ones but you really can't use them on a microwave. So when you want to heat something for a little bit, they're kind of inconvenient. Plastic types are cheap and you can use them directly on the microwave but they're easy to break. Definitely, not ideal for a long term usage. Glass types are a bit expensive but it has all the pros found in the metal and plastic types.

That's why this time I went and got myself a glass type.

Un. It is all thanks to the Kei Bihei Brothers that I was able to amass a lot of points!

... ...Well, it's not like this kitchen has a microwave already, so a metal one would have been fine.

Then there's the digital scale. It's on the expensive side but it could measure accurately.

... ...Thank you Kei Bihei Brothers... ...

I will never forget you... ....

Even though all I could remember are those times when Barber White Polar Bear was on the roll, but I'm sure it was only because of the dragon sickness that I experienced. Un. I'm sure.

And then after making the exchange, just like always. The Kitchen preparation table brightens up and on top of the counter are the things I just got.

"Now all that's left is to get the eggs and butter inside the refrigerator... ..."

Seeing the ingredients on top of the kitchen table makes me grin.

And then I headed to the sink and washed my hands till its sparkly clean and now I can start making it!

"Well first things first...I have to measure the ingredients!"
