‘Shang Ming, do you think Tian Qiang refusing to loan money to Shang’s company is related to Duan Hua leaving Tian Ting and marrying Ming Sheng?’ Lam Shu Pan asked.
‘It’s a possibility,’ Shang Ming said. ‘It’s too coincidental Tian Qiang cancelled Shang’s company’s bank loans on Duan Hua and Ming Sheng’s wedding day.’
‘What do we do now?’ Lam Shu Pan asked. ‘It’s all Da Zheng Li’s fault. Why didn’t he consider Duan Hua’s feelings? He shouldn’t have made you promise that Duan Hua would marry Tian Ting.’
‘Lam Shu Pan, how can you still not see the reality?’ Shang Ming asked. ‘It’s your son who wronged Tian Ting.’
‘Duan Hua is innocent,’ Lam Shu Pan said. ‘He has the right to marry the woman he loves.’
‘It’s your son’s fault from the start,’ Shang Ming said. ‘He should have been honest to Tian Ting from the start. Tian Ting would have understood, and she wouldn’t have wasted her youth.
