Chapter Six
The waiter didn’t see Da Tian Ting move on the floor.
‘Is she dead?’ the waiter asked.
The waiter’s words alarmed the customers in the bar. They looked accusingly at Feng Kai Ze.
‘Sir, it’s wrong to hit your girlfriend,’ a man said.
‘That’s right,’ a woman said. ‘A man who hits a woman has no right to call himself a man.’
‘Hurry up and take your girlfriend to the hospital,’ the man said.
Feng Kai Ze’s unlucky streak came in three. First a crazy woman cursed him, she vomited on him and strangers accused him of hitting the crazy woman.
The bar owner rushed to Feng Kai Ze and Da Tian Ting.
‘Sir, pay your girlfriend’s bill and take your girlfriend to the hospital,’ the owner said. ‘If you don’t, I’ll call the cops.’
‘She’s not my girlfriend,’ Feng Kai Ze said.
‘Sir, even if you broke up with your girlfriend, she’s still your friend,’ the woman said. ‘Do the right thing, and take your friend to the hospital.’
‘Sir, here is your girlfriend’s bill,’ the owner said. ‘Pay it and take her to the hospital. If you leave without paying, I’ll call the cops.’
Feng Kai Ze took out his wallet, he paid the bar owner and took the crazy woman to the hospital.
On the way to the hospital, Feng Kai Ze vowed to make the crazy woman pay him back the expensive bottle of wine she bought.
When Da Tian Ting woke up, she felt dizzy and nauseous. She looked at her surroundings, and didn’t know why she was lying on a hospital bed. She remembered seeing Shang Duan Hua and Yang Fei in bed together then she went to a bar and drank wine. Did she curse someone at the bar? She couldn’t remember what happened after she fell on the floor.
Feng Kai Ze walked out of the bathroom in stained wet clothes.
‘Sir, who are you?’ Da Tian Ting asked.
‘Finally you’re awake,’ Feng Kai Ze said.
Feng Kai Ze had to watch over the crazy woman for half the night.
‘Sir, do we know each other?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘I don’t remember meeting you.’
