Feng Kai Ze took Da Tian Ting home from the hospital.
‘Lucky the doctor said you only have minor bruising,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Next time you’re not allowed to risk your life again. Your body isn’t made of steel. What would have happened if you injured your head?’
‘What do you want me to do?’ Da Tian Ting asked. ‘Let the chair break your back?’
‘I don’t care,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘You have to promise me you won’t risk your life or put yourself in harm’s way again.’
Feng Kai Ze was happy Da Tian Ting cared about him to risk her life, but he would rather sacrifice his life for her safety.
‘I want to go home and sleep,’ Da Tian Ting said.
‘I’ll piggyback you home,’ Feng Kai Ze said.
‘No,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘You’re tired too.’
Feng Kai Ze piggybacked Da Tian Ting home.
‘Put me down,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Feng Kai Ze’s back felt like Da Tian Ting’s armor. She wanted to protect her armor, and not let another person steal her armor. Someone taking Feng Kai Ze away from her was different to Da Ming Sheng taking Shang Duan Hua from her, because Feng Kai Ze cared about her.
‘What’s wrong?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
‘I’m scared,’ Da Tian Ting said.
Da Tian Ting wasn’t confident she could stop someone else stealing Feng Kai Ze from her.
‘Why are you scared?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
Feng Kai Ze wasn’t the scrawny little monkey anymore. He was stronger, and could protect Da Tian Ting and himself.
‘I’m scared someone will steal you from me like how Da Ming Sheng stole Shang Duan Hua from me,’ Da Tian Ting said.
‘In your heart, who is more important, me or Shang Duan Hua?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.
Feng Kai Ze only wanted to hear that he was the only man in Da Tian Ting’s heart.
‘Shang Duan Hua is no longer in my heart,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘How he lives his life is none of my business. Right now, I only want to cherish you, but I’m scared you won’t cherish me. Because I don’t have looks, money or a good family that attracts men.’

Da Tian Ting regretted giving back the luxury goods in the heat of the moment.

Da Tian Ting loved having someone love her.

By the time Feng Kai Ze piggybacked Da Tian Ting back to the apartment hotel, it was eight o’clock in the evening.
‘Little monkey, it’s late,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Why are the guests carrying their luggage and leaving?’
