Eunae slowly opened her eyes and immediately shot it back because of the bright light. She instinctively held her stomach and relaxed after hearing the faint heartbeat. She immediately looked around the room she was in and got up trying to leave, only for the door to open to reveal a haggard looking Kim Taemin. Seeing that Eunae was struggling to get out of bed, he hurriedly ran to her side to stop her.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Taemin asked with pain staring at Eunae. Eunae bit her lips and looked away trying to avoid eye contact.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU FREAKING TELL ME!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MISERABLE I WAS!!" Taemin yelled for the first time, he was in so much pain that he started crying, "I'm so useless that I couldn't protect the two of you, I don't know what I would have done if anything happened to the both of you". He buried his hands in his head and cried bitterly.
"I'm so sorry min'er, I'm so sorry". Eunae cried too hugging him.
"Why did you do it nae'er? What are you hiding from me?" he held her asking her. She looked at him and cried bitterly in his hands.
"I'm sorry min'er but I...can't tell you".
"You should rest first, I'll be in my study if you need anything". Taemin got up removing her hands from his body before leaving the room. Eunae laid on the bed and cried bitterly. She really ducked up big time, she knew she has to tell him the truth eventually, and she knew she has to do it now.
Knock knock
"Come in".
Eunae entered the room slowly after hearing his reply. She walked up to him and breathe in deeply.
"Do you need anything?" he asked not even bothering to look at her.
"I'm ready to spill the beans, but before that I want you to promise me that what I'm about to tell you is a secret between you and me".
"I promise".
Eunae quietly sat down opposite Taemin.
"What I'm about to tell you it's really top secret, like you already know, my parents were murdered when I was at the tender age of three and me and Woobin was taken care of by my senior sister, Liliquing. Growing up without parents were very difficult, we were chased out of the house by our so called relatives and our properties were taken away from us. Life for us was very difficult and Liliquing tried her best to provide for us but sadly her best wasn't good enough. As if our problems weren't enough, Liliquing was raped and almost left to die there. I was so devastated and still went to beg my relatives but they all turned their back on us. Liliquing was already breathing her last breathe when my uncle Dan helped us. He was my dad sworn brother and wasn't around when all this happened to us, he took us in as his own children and treated us well. We were finally happy for the past twelve years but sadly no matter how you run from the past you can never escape. We were all sleeping in the night but I got up freeing tasty, so I went down to drink water, I suddenly held the alarm for intruders and my uncle quickly got up with his gun on high alert. I will never forget that day because it was the same person who killed my parents that was here again. My uncle told us to run and gave Liliquing the car key. He stayed back to hold them. I turned back around only to see my uncle being shot multiple times before his head was cut off, I screamed so much and cried because that's what happened to my parents. I was greatly traumatized and for the first time in my life, I vowed to get revenge for my parents and uncle. Me and my siblings decided to leave the country and start afresh". She stopped whipping her tears before continuing.
"The plan was actually going smoothly but one day I ran into a strange man that claimed to know my parents and uncle Dan. I followed him and found out they were secret agent. I joined them because I want to kill the person who destroyed our life and I need power for that, since that day I became a secret agent with my code name... Silence". She paused waiting for him to absorb everything.
"Wait! You are silence?" Taemin asked shocked.
"Yes, I'm silence". She replied and continued.
"I got that name from the way I handle my mission, all my targets were unlucky to face me because I kill without mercy and with silence. Anyone who see my face wouldn't live to tell the tale. I was able to trace the person who killed my parents back to Korea and decided it's time for me to return. I left my sister and brother back in the states making sure they were protected before coming back. That was when I first met you in the airport. Luckily for me, I was given a mission and the target was the same person who killed my parents. It was as if it's finally time for payback and Luck was on my side. I got all the information about the person. Turns out the person is a wanted criminal and assassin, I knew right away that he wasn't alone but there was somebody behind him
