Qian Wanyang mumbled unhappily. Ye Qing had taken away all the escorts without leaving any for them.
“What are you talking about?” Ling Xiao glared at Qian Wanyang. “We’re here to save someone, not to hit on those escorts. If you want them, I can offer you a treat when we get back.”
“Boss Ling, I was only kidding,” Qian Wanyang hurried to say. “I’m only angry with Ye Qing. I’m not thinking about those escorts.”
Li Yunyang glanced at Qian Wanyang, knowing that Wang Hao’s lackey was as horrible as him.
Ling Xiao nodded and asked Wang Hao, “Junior brother, what’s your plan exactly?”
Wang Hao smiled. “Senior brother, Qian Wanyang, Chen Yao, let’s talk in my room.”
“Wang Hao, what’s the meaning of this?” Li Yunyang grew cold. Why did they not involve him in the important meaning?
“Nothing.” Wang Hao chuckled and said, “It’s just that you have business to do, so we can’t count you in.”
“Business?” Everybody was stunned. They had just come to the Glorious Sky Federation. What business could they possibly have?
Wang Hao smiled but didn’t say anything. He simply left with Ling Xiao, Qian Wanyang, and Chen Yao, leaving an enraged Li Yunyang behind.
In the room, Li Yunyang couldn’t help but ask, “Junior brother, why did you do that to Li Yunyang?”
“Because he is with the Military Department, and the Military Department is intimate with the Royal Academy. Of course I have to deal with him!” Wang Hao turned cold. The Royal Academy couldn’t have kicked him out without the support of the Military Department.
Ling Xiao sighed and realized everything.
Years ago, Wang Tianyi stole the position of commander that should’ve been Guan Jieying’s. As a result, the grand nobles in the Military Department loathed him.
