"The rumors are true. I have indeed gotten a hold of the advocate. I am actively setting up a meeting with her. She has a lot in her life going on at the moment but I will see when we can book an appointment and have her come to the association when it is convenient for her. I hear that she has gotten more supernaturals on her side since her time of working with my parents. So I do believe this partnership will work well. Wouldn't it be nice to not have to deal with all the supernaturals and having the ones that want peace working with us to protect the humans that are just trying to live peacefully." Leo picked up his laptop then placed it on the desk. He took out a drawer and brought it to his old desk and filled the drawer and then brought it back to his new desk. "Sir, it's Abby at the front desk. I was told that you okayed for the bodies to be removed from the couch but I never got the go-ahead directly from you so I was checking in with you before it could get done." Abby was being glared at from another hunter.
"Oh is that so? You can put the other hunter on the line right now." Leo heard her pass the phone over. "Did you know that I gave Abby an order to not let the bodies move from that spot. I refuse to let someone move them while I am trying to convey a message to those that are working here. I will not tolerate insubordination." Leo's voice came out extra frosty.
"Sorry, Sir. It wasn't you that requested it but a hunter on the board named Steve. He said that it was ghastly and he wanted the sight removed but if you do not want it removed I shall leave it and ignore any requests unless they come directly for you. I did not know that it was your direct order and I will comply with your wishes as the head of the association here." he leaned on the counter and smiled at Abby.
"What is your name? I can't see you through my phone." Leo opened his laptop and started typing to enter the security system.
"Sir, my name is Daniel. I am part of the cleanup crew. I do hope that the office is cleaned to your satisfaction." He bowed to the phone and he saw that Abby was about to giggle.
Leo looked through the camera and saw that he was who he said he was. "I appreciate that you took the time to confirm with me, please do leave the bodies there. I don't think that the bodies have much blood in them but you may remove the bodies after all the hunters have left for the evening. Also, take some pictures and send them to my office."
"You got it, Boss." Daniel handed the phone back to Abby. "Thank you, Abby, for telling me before I moved the bodies. I do not want to cross our new Boss." He went back to his cart, grabbed his camera. He walked up to the bodies, started to take pictures of the bodies and then went back to his cart. He placed the camera down and pushed his cart away from the site.
Abby giggled and hung up the phone. "I know that you are only doing your job. I would not want you to get in trouble Daniel."
Berry watched the screen and saw that the person respected Leo's command and then watched him take off without removing the bodies. "Well if someone requested them to be removed then I am willing to bet that the poor kid will hear an earful. Would you like me to keep a watch out and let them know?"
"No, it is alright I know that Daniel will convey the message to Steve himself. I will be holding a meeting tomorrow morning. Asurlon sent out the memo already so everyone should've received it or at least those on the board should've gotten it." Leo shook his head. "After everyone leaves for the day he can remove the bodies. I will let him know when the building is mostly empty. I will not be leaving I have too much to prepare for." Leo emptied that drawer into his new desk.
