Luke looked up at Kitty and rushed over. "Good morning! What is the favor? I am happy to help you out if you need my help." His ears and tail were out and wagging happily.
"Thank you, Luke. I need to get a bag out of the back of the moving truck. I do not feel right using Leo's clothes when I have all the clothes I need on the truck. I know that Leo would not care but I bought the clothes because I needed to have something to wear." She walks down the stairs.
Luke follows after her, "To be honest I thought it was strange you didn't bring some of your own clothes in with you. If you direct me on which bag it is then I can grab it and carry it inside for you. How was your sleep?"
"Thank you. Let's go there now and grab the bag before we get busy for the day." She leads him to the front of the house. "I slept rather well. The baby was calm for most of the night so I managed to get a decent amount of sleep. At first I thought it would be hard for me to sleep in that big room all alone but in the end, I slept just fine. How was your sleep?" She stops at the door and looks at it curiously. "Are you expecting anyone to come over?" She transforms making her ears and tail disappear.
"My sleep was normal." He watches her transform. "Me? I am not expecting visitors." He tries to transform but struggles and has no success.
Kitty reaches over and touches the top of his head. "Relax and focus on what you what to happen. Envision them disappearing but don't force it. There you go. You should be able to do that on your own now." She takes her hand off the top of his head.
"Whoa. This is the easiest time I have had getting them to fade. Thank you so much. So, who do you think is coming to the door?" He looks at the door but no one has knocked yet.
"If you remember my words you should not have any issues doing it by yourself. I do not know who it is but they will be at the door in roughly five minutes." Kitty sits down on the ottoman and waits for the person to knock on the door. Once she hears the knock on the door, she opens it up.
"Good morning. I hope that I am not waking up the household but the picture you sketched got me started and I wanted to show you the windows I found. I want to replace then right away that way it's over and done with. Also, I brought stain samples for you." John looks excited at the two.
"Good morning John. You are not interrupting my sleep. I thought you were going to message me but this works as well. Let's go look at the windows." She steps outside and looks at the truck that was pulled up. "I too want this to get done as soon as possible as well. I am looking forward to having a space to put all my books on."
John smiles and leads her to his truck. He opens the doors and pulls down the ramp so that she could walk up it. "I am sorry, that I showed up out of the blue. I will not start working until the entire household is awake but I just had to come and show you what I found." He turns on the light and the replacement windows pop out look identical to the ones she had drawn.
"Wow. I am super impressed. They are identical to what I drew." She looks at the chandeliers that are hanging up and touches the third one. "So pretty. Can we use this one? It would fit in perfectly." Kitty smiles.
Luke had followed Kitty into the truck and looked at everything there. "You worked really fast and must have worked late. It could not have been easy to find these."
"Actually, I had all of these items in storage. So I did not have to go anywhere special. When I got the picture I went straight to the storage where I keep everything and started pulling the ones I thought would fit out. As for the chandeliers I had them stashed away as well. I pulled out all the ones I thought would suit the picture you sent." He pulled out six stain samples for the bookshelves and six stain samples for the flooring. "These are the stain samples you requested."
She takes them out into the light and sits on the porch swing looking at each stain carefully. She sets a few on the ground and looks at four different stains. 'Hmmmmm. Each one of these is nice and unique it's all a matter of which one I would like best." She stands up and walks over to Luke. "Luke, which two do you think will blend well together?"
Luke looked at the wood in Kitty's hands and points to the two darker shades. "I like these two they seem like they will blend well together."
Kitty takes the two pieces Luke pointed to and smiles, "yes, I would have to agree. Thank you." She hands the two pieces over to John. "Here are the chosen stains. I have somethings that I need to get done so if that is everything I will go back to get back to getting what I need to done." John takes the samples. "I had a feeling this would be your choice. I started making the shelves last night. After I get the windows in I will leave and go start to stain what I have completed. I want to install the flooring today. I have this color of wood already stained. I had another client that changed their mind after I had already completed staining the wood. I am glad that it will not go to waste. I will go home now and go grab it. That way when everyone is awake I can get started on more than just the windows." He puts the ramp back up, closes the doors and then bows before leaving.
