"If you are going to be home for a few days may I request that I borrow Luke and take him back to meet my father? Since he is from my clan I would prefer to introduce him as quickly as possible. I had the task of finding him and his family. So now that I have found him I need to take him back to meet my father." Carlos looks down at his food while asking this.
"I don't see why you shouldn't take him to meet your father. That is if Luke would like to go? I will not force him to do anything that he doesn't want to do." Leo looks at Luke who is on the other side of Kitty.
"I would like to go. Carlos brought me something to read but I think it would be good to meet the one who knew my parents before they were killed." Luke had been listening and slowly eating
"I think it would be a good thing for Luke to go and meet Jaxson. Also, Cindy, you will go with them. I would like to spend some alone time with Leo before he gets busy again. You guys can head over there after you collect the mail and bring it back here." Kitty finishes off her breakfast and goes to the living room.
Cindy's face goes beet red and she nods her head yes to imply that she will follow Kitty's request.
Leo looks at Luke after Kitty leaves the room. He waves his hand and beckons Luke over. Once Luke is close enough he whispers, "can you bring me the ring to me before you leave? I think this will be a good time to propose to Kitty."
Carlos hears what he said and looked to the door hoping that Kitty is far enough away that she doesn't hear what Leo had said. "If you don't want her to find out I would suggest not saying it out loud. She has insanely good hearing."
"I can testify to that. Kitty's hearing is better than all the other fox demons but she probably went to lay down. So we should probably be safe." Cindy looks at the group at the table.
Luke got up and crept to the living room and found that Kitty was sleeping soundly on the couch. He crept back to the kitchen silently. "She is indeed asleep right now so I do not think that she heard the conversation. I will grab it after I am done eating." He sat back down and finished his food and then took more to eat.
"Honestly I wasn't worried about her hearing. I am planning to propose to her while you guys are out of the house. I'll cook a fancy dinner, light some candles on the kitchen table, spread rose petals all over and then after dessert I will ask her to marry me. Can I request while you are in town for you to pick me up some red, white and blue roses? Charge it to the food account. I've already added more than enough for the flowers."
"Your request is easy for me to get done. I will call the store and see how much they have in stock so that I can just grab them and bring them back here for you, Leo." Carlos gets up and walks to the back door and quickly calls the flower shop.
"Thank you for calling Beautiful Blossoms! How may I help you today?" A cheerful voice comes through the phone.
"Hi, it's Carlos. I need every red, white and blue rose you have in stock. I will come by to pick them up in about two hours. If that is enough time?" Carlos looks out a the pool while standing outside.
"Of course. Two hours should be enough time. I will make sure I get the request done personally. If I am going to need a little extra time I will call you and let you know. Do you know if the flowers need to be wrapped up?" She starts to grab the roses and set them aside.

"Let me double-check." Carlos puts the phone on hold and then goes back inside. "Leo, can you tell the girl what exactly you want done with the flowers. I haven't the faintest clue." He hands his phone to Leo and sits back down.

He slides Carlos's phone to him on the table. "It's all settled. I'm going to sit with Kitsune while she rests." He walks out of the room and goes to the living room. He sits on the edge of the couch that she was laying on and pulled out a book and started to read.
