huh" Cheska heaved a sigh of relief upon returning in her own carriage.

She did not know which gave her more pressure, if it was the crown prince or the third prince. Since she still needed to go to school in the morning, she opted to sleep along the way.

Cheska's dream….

"Mia, good morning" Hans said as he kissed her in the forehead.

She was wrapped in a thick white comforter in her own bed. As she opened her eyes, he saw him standing in her beside in white long sleeves and black slacks. He was ready to go to work. He smiled sweetly towards her and lifted her towards the kitchen.

There was a hot coffee and breakfast in the table. The man loved fish, so there were different types of dishes made from fish.

"Hmm, your cooking tastes great Hans, I love it. You are the best cook in the world" Cheska said.

The breakfast was simple but to her it tasted heavenly. Her eyes were brimming with love, it was over pouring from her heart.

"Hey, what's that?" Ch'''''''''eska said while giggling.

It was Hans's feet which was tickling her foot.

"I can't eat properly Hans, we will be late." She said without any annoyance. The smile which was plastered all over her face was very real that even her soul rejoices in his presence.

After work, Hans drove with her in the city. They were headed towards the mangrove garden. It was one of the most peaceful place in the city. The smell of sea, cold air and the feelings of love imprinted itself on her memory.

"I love you" Hans said, while driving slowly. He caressed Cheska's hands which were hugging his trunk.

"I love you too." Cheska said sweetly.

They ended their day by buying fresh fish from the port and grilling it at her place.

Cheska, kept the place clean and prepared the table while Hans did the cooking. To take care of him and their future family, she enrolled in a culinary school without telling him. The classes are on Saturday's and Sundays. It was tiring on her part, but for the sake of love she was willing to do anything.

After washing the dishes, Hans held her hand and led her to the window. He opened the curtain exposing the big glass window which covered her entire wall. He then closed some of the lights.

"What are you doing Hans?" Cheska blushed.

Hans placed her hands at his shoulders and his hands at her waist.

"Just follow the music" He whispered.

There was no music. Cheska, smiled and moved along with him. The lights from the building where giving a romantic ambiance.

"I can't dance Hans"

He took off his shoes and asked her to take her slippers off too.

"Step on my foot" He said..

Cheska was puzzled and hesitated. But he reassured her that it will be alright.

It was her first dance. She was dancing without any music, without a beautiful dress, without any special decorations, or even a foot wear, but her heart was racing and she was filled with joy.

Sharing every meal and being with him 5 days of the week from work to home was precious to her.

Cheska's caring nature was revived because of Hans. Whenever she left the office for a meeting, she would usually send him some snacks, or leave a love note in his drawer. She made sure to bring water, towel, medicine, tissue, and scarf on her bag for him. She has a coat or jacket for him in her office in case he forgets to bring one. She makes her gestures subtle just to make sure that he is well.

She loved him and he loved her. Wasn't that enough to make them stay together? The pain in her chest woke her up from such a vivid dream.

Back in reality….

[I could not remember when I smiled like that towards any man.] Cheska remained in the carriage for a while. The dream felt so real. The joy, he warmth and even her smile felt genuine.

[I clearly remember him. But the love… it was all gone. The feelings are no longer here.] She reminded herself of the same old phrases. This time, she was in love with another man, he might be a gay, but to her, he had surpassed every man when it comes to having the qualities of being a real one.

She was no longer the "Mia" who loved Hans. She is now Cheska who is intelligent and goal oriented. However, because of their travel in the dark forest, her plans might need to be reviewed. Her plans to dominate the market and become the richest bachelorette once more seems to be inapplicable in the upcoming end of the world thing.

[Well, if I am a consumer, what will I need in order to survive the end of the world? It seems like I need to study the situation better] Cheska shook her head in disappointment. [well, I might still be able to earn a quiet a sum of money if they still don't know that the world will soon end.]

Even the end of the world could give her opportunities but will the money be able to save her as well? She will decide after studying the situation well.
