Bertran and Al went to Eyes Scream, a bizarre ice scream shop near their workshop. It was the former who excitedly introduced the store to the latter.

According to Bert, Eyes Scream was famous for its odd flavors and even had multiple branches across Peace Valley and its surrounding cities.

As usual, Betran paid the bills as he ordered a Blazin' Hot Chili flavor, to which Al was dumbfounded. It's a flavor for real men, according to the huge guy. Meanwhile, Al enjoyed the usual Double Dutch, his favorite ice cream.

Double Dutch is a vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and marshmallows. Bertan could not help himself from glancing a jealous look at Al, who was enjoying his ice cream. However, his manly resolve stopped him from changing flavors.

...

"Again!" Osho ordered as he took SwitchFoot's life with a slash of his katana.

"I'm tired already," Macca grumbled as he resurrected his character. They've been trying to catch the level five, Osho, all this time, but failed to land even a scratch.

"That's a good sign that your brain is adapting," Osho commented.

"Stop using your weapon's skill! It's unfair!" CancerIsLife complained. The blue-spirit Samurai was really giving them a hard time.

"Haha! Seriously? Do you really want to win the Rookie Challenge, dudes? All that I've been hearing is grumbling over grumbling. That's not how winners act! Fine, we'll take a break for now. Maybe, you'll need Al and Bertran to be able to land an attack on me, or should I lower my level to one?" Osho berated as he left the Custom Room.

"Woah. Harvy, what did you just do?" Jack shamelessly blamed the innocent and quiet assassin.

...

The atmosphere in the workshop was a bit tense when Bertran and Al arrived.

Al immediately sensed that something was off. "Hey! Ice Cream?"

Fortunately, the ice cream was able to ease the tension between Osho and the other three members of WisDOOM as they tackled the areas that the team was still lacking.

"Hey, guys! I'm sorry if you find me a bit rude, but in battles, you don't develop soldiers by being soft to them. Just as I have always told Al, advantages are fleeting against a strong brain. However, a grumbling heart and an irked spirit are the main enemies of a focused mind. This is what my sensei had told me." Osho shared while eating ube-flavored ice cream in a cup.

"Yeah. I appreciate what you have shared with us, Osho. However, maybe we're not really cut out for these extraordinary things. Hehe. You know what I mean, right?" Jack shrugged his shoulders as he enjoyed the melon-flavored ice cream.

"Yeah. I get that. There are just some people who have innate talent when it comes to other things, especially on War Grounds. Ehem." Osho humbly boasted. "However, just as what the common proverb says - hard work beats talent. Just keep on grinding, guys. The road to improvement is not a highway; it's an arduous terrain that only the tough could traverse."

Everyone nodded their heads. Too bad, they can't recruit Osho to their team.

"Still no updates from Sol?" Al suddenly changed the topic. It was already around four in the afternoon.

"Nope." Jack double-checked his phone just to be sure of his answer. "Ah. He left a message. According to him, he won't be able to join us today, but he'll be back at around noon tomorrow. The good news is that he had already reserved a dinner for us in a nearby restaurant!"

"Big Boss. I thought that we still have a rematch against those two Demon Samurais?" Bertran interjected with a reminder.

"Oh sh-! We've made them wait! Guys, time to play again? Bert and I are already in the Bronze Rank!" Al scolded himself for losing the trail of time.

"Game!" The rest of the gang responded, except for Osho.

"Good! How about you, Teacher Osho? You still with us?" Al grinned.

Osho shot each of them a grinning look. "Of course! Let's focus on Custom Room, today! Let me meet those two Demon Samurais!"

"Wait. Wait. Teacher Osho said that he'd take on the five of us at Level One." Jack clarified.

"Dude, are you really that desperate?" Osho mocked as they went to their respective stations.

"Haha! After numerous defeats from the same hands, won't you?" Jack grinned.

...

Everyone finally returned to the game.

All of WisDOOM's members were now at Bronze V, with Patrick having the lowest level at five.

"Zzzzz. It's already been more than an hour!" A message from Battousai with angry and cursing emoticons immediately greeted Al.

"Haha! Wait for my invitation." Al shameless replied with no apologies. It was the privilege of the strong over those who need their help - what a cruel life.

"Hey, guys! Two strangers would like to have a rematch against Bert and me. This is a good opportunity for you to spar against them. I'll invite them over." Al immediately sent a message to their party team chat that he had just created.

Al grinned. He knew that these two Demon Samurais were strong. The boy has to make the most out of them to benefit their team.

Al joined the Custom Room that Osho has set up. It was no longer a circular white place, unlike the previous. Instead, it was a circular battle arena as big as an average basketball court with bleachers on the sides for spectators.

The circular floor and the unreserved seats were made from cobblestone. It was one of the additional features of the Custom Room - users could change the setting to their liking.

"Finally! The colors that I've just been looking for!" Jack sighed a relief. The previous colorless place has drained his stamina.

However, the casual mood was suddenly disturbed as two Demon Samurais suddenly appeared before the group.

[ Dreaming Blade has joined the room. ]

[ Battousai has joined the room. ]

"Samurai Skulls!" Papa Bear broke the awkward silence with a loud orcish voice as he caressed his hammer.

The two Demon Samurais suddenly bowed to the group, to which Osho was pleased as he bowed in return.

"Greetings! We've come for a rematch against Udil." Dreaming Blade spoke on behalf of Battousai.

"Eh?! Why just against Big Boss? What about me, skulls?! You cheated awhile ago!" Papa Bear growled. His massive frame fitted his punk-like aura as he carried his enormous hammer over his right shoulder.

"Haha! I accept the rematch in one condition." Al grinned as he headed towards the sides.
