More threads continued to appear in War Grounds' forum. The battle in Alistor City was a hot topic.

Another thread was trying to make its way to the Top 3, and it was created by the famous game show host named Ringo. The thread was entitled '#LIDAR, THE KING OF BASIC ATTACKS IS UNDEFEATED NO MORE.'

"Lidar was ousted of the Undefeated Kings by a fellow member - 666666! The Human Warrior's record is no longer perfect! Thoughts?" Ringo posted.

"Lidar deserved that, he's a cocky one!" Mad Monk was the first to comment, beating Senelcar.

"How can you say that?" Senelcar asked. There was just a one-second difference between Mad Monk and his comment.

"My friend is a member of the guild, Third Heaven. He said that when Lidar died, all of his equipment dropped, and all of them were common-type. That dude is overestimating himself!" Mad Monk replied with disgust.

"Well, isn't that interesting? All this time, Lidar was wielding inferior equipment and still managed to rank at the top? However, 666666 caught him off guard with his hidden class. Nasty!" A user named Bug Eyes joined the growing conversation.

"Woah, what does a top-tier God doing here? It's an honor to have you in the conversation, Lord Bug Eyes." Ringo suddenly fawned.

The sudden arrival of Bug Eyes, a top player in the game, quickly garnered more comments for the post, pushing Ringo's thread to Top One for the day and spreading like wildfire the defeat of Lidar at the hands of Eternal Vespers' guild leader - 666666.

...

South of Alistor City.

An enormous black dragon could be seen flying through the skyline. It kept on flapping its majestic wings and only stopped upon reaching a circular formation of brown boulders - a portal shrine.

"We'll part ways from here on. I'll send Borascca to take over Alistor, 34 hours from now. Fiao, I want you to investigate the perpetrators who planted the bombs in the city. Styx, use your connections to track down the silver-blood weapon. We'll be needing that in the coming Rookie Challenge." 666666 gave out instructions as the other party of players, most of whom were between Level 15-20, immediately gave way to the dragon as it landed on the portal's vicinity.

"Borascca? Isn't that an overkill? There's no need to send your vice-guild leader to take over the city, 666666. Just a special elite or your deputy would be enough." Ealdama commented.

"Someone needs to set-up a shrine portal in that city and Borascca is the man for that job." 666666 replied. "Invasions will be prevalent from here on, especially that we have revealed the Curse Spell."

The other five members that rode the dragon nodded. Meanwhile, Fiao was already fully healed by Mourning Prost.

"Leave the investigation to me. I already have a lead, thanks to Mourning Prost." Fiao responded.

"Good. Who?" Intrigued, Papa Dino asked.

"There's only one player who's capable of using grey flames - Gerd. That traitorous bitch was there in Alistor, and if my hunch was correct, the bombs came from his stupid brother, Yakouza." Fiao surmised.

Everyone immediately shot an expectant look towards Mourning Prost. After all, Gerd was previously an upper echelon of his guild. The Undead Alchemist helplessly nodded in response as the goblin's explanation made sense.

...

"Is it possible to set up a portal in the spawn cities?" Al's answer to SARS' question was also a question.

[ It is. However, the ruling guild will have to let go of the benefits of having guardians. This is the reason why only Quagmire and Breedfort City has a shrine portal. Their ruling guilds are confident that they could defend their turfs without the aid of these monstrous protectors. ], SARS responded.

"That's the city of the Dwarves and Savages!" Al's eyes immediately sparkled with hope. "What are the other options for Macca?"

[ It's impossible without a shrine portal in Alistor. The travel time would be too long. For now, Papa Bear is your nearest ally. ], SARS explained.

"Tsk." Al was in deep thought. He once again shot a look towards the Smokey Mountains of Ur. It was also a long stretch. "I'll have to talk to them in person." Feeling the weariness and fatigue, Al logged off the game, leaving his character on the outskirts of the forest.

Al yawned as he took off the gaming helmet. It was already 6:15 in the morning. He immediately went back to their bunker and found the other members pleasantly snoring. They were all damned tired.

With a heavy pair of eyes, Al quickly dozed off, not minding Bertran's loud wheezing.

...

The flames caused by the explosions' aftermath in Alistor City was starting to dissipate. All the structures were charred black, and no forms of life could be seen, except for one item in the middle of the square plaza - an unscathed metal mask.

Yellow and silver lights suddenly shimmered as the item rose in the air amidst the churning waves of flames. It hummed as a golden silhouette of a Divine Brawler came out of the mask, like a genie appearing from a lamp - Yamasteh.

However, one would notice that Yamasteh's body was filled with burnt marks, leaving some of his body parts with purple seared scars. The left face of Nisha seemed to be distorted, skinless pus with red viscid substances came out every now and then.

Yamasteh surveyed the surroundings. He seemed to be amazed at how he was not affected by the heat of the flames around him. It seemed weird. He immediately checked his status.

[ IGN: Yamasteh; Level: 76; Rank: Gold I; Race: Mutated (Half Demon-Half Divine)... ]

Nisha's face in real life suddenly twitched. He was currently at his home as the workshop was closed due to the recent guild war.

"Things really come at a price." The boy sighed; he should have been dead due to the explosions, but the silver mask that he wore was an Epic-Type Artifact that allowed its user to resurrect up to three times.

Nisha has already maximized the three resurrections. He was just keeping the mask for the sake of its attributes and aesthetic effects.

Previously, upon his death, he saw that revival was still possible. He clicked it out of curiosity and voila - his account got mutated. It was an incomplete one like RockSalt, barring him from using more than one class skill.
