Jim asked her bride the moment he placed her at their bed. The room was filled with fragrance of fresh flowers.
"Just about my life." She honestly replied.
When she noticed her silence, she cupped his face. "And what are you thinking as well?"
"Of course, I'm thinking of my beautiful bride."
"Angry? " She stared at him.
"A little." He replied.
She then turned into a lateral position, lifted her head up and supported in with a hand. She looked intently at him while he laid down with locked hands under his head. He had already changed into his pajamas and his hair was still dripping.
"How can I treat your anger? "
"If you will still wear that white dress Mr. Nicoleau has made for you." Jim answered.
Mr. Nicoleau was the most famous wedding dress designer she had known.
Jia chuckled. " Sure, Jim. We will still have the wedding ceremony but I want it to be here."
"Why? We had already selected the place." He insisted. He wanted to give her the best.
"Because there is no divorce here."
Her answer melted his heart once again. His worries melted as well. Her vow earlier today touched him. Her whirlwind preparation for their surprise wedding was enough to prove her love and loyalty. And this... "no divorce here" ...was even more than enough.
He then turned and pulled her to him, her head was now resting in his chest.
"Heavens know how much I wanted to have you as my wife."
"Sshh. Your wish is already granted."
"Who would have thought it would be tonight?" Jim was still so overwhelmed.
"Sweetheart, where do you wish to go? " Jim asked.
"What do you mean? "Jia was really confused.
"Aren't newly - weds being entitled to a honeymoon? "

"Yes. " Jim affirmed.
"Let's plan for it after our wedding ceremony would be finalized."
"What about for now? " Jim argued.
"There's nothing to look forward to if we will have it ahead." Jia explained.
"How about going to some of the beautiful sites of our own country? "
"Alright." She knew Jim would not be at ease if she would insist. She then stood up and planted a quick kiss on his lips. She then took a quick shower and changed into a sleeping robe.
As she dried and brushed her hair in front of the mirror, she was suddenly yanked off from her seat. She was startled and her eyes widened!
"Why are you taking so long? I have been looking forward to this night for more than six years! "
She laughed. "I already forgot about that."
"You were so daring last night and you suddenly forgot about it? " He teased. His eyes were now sparkling with desire.
"I'm sleepy! " She exclaimed while laughing. The truth was that she was just so nervous. She did not know where she got the courage last night.
"Just go to sleep. I won't wake you up! "
She gazed at him. "Close your eyes. "
He was firm so she felt relieved. If only he knew she was nervous!
He stood up and blew off the lights of the scented candles. Soon, there was a total darkness. She shivered. Jim did not know about her fear of the dark.
When he held her close, he felt her trembling. "What happened? " He asked.
"I'm afraid. " She replied.
"Afraid of what? Of me? "He wondered. He remembered exactly how she stood up daringly last night and now she was shivering in fear?
"Of the dark. "
He was shocked for a moment and then he laughed. He stood up and pushed back the curtain. The moon shone brightly across the sky. Its brightness blinded the lights of all other stars that appeared nearby.
"No need to be afraid. I'm here. "
He hugged her tight to remove her fear. Moments passed and he began kissing her. He traced back those lines where his fingers touched last night. Her earlobes, her neck, her collarbones. He no longer waited for her to snap her robe away. He almost tore it all apart until all those tiny pieces flew off to the floor.
Was this was the kind of "sleep" he was talking about?
He stopped. He looked at her closely through the rays of the moonlight. Through all the years he was with her, he was still surprised at how beautiful this woman was. This woman who was now, unexpectedly, became his wife tonight!
Jia felt uneasy to be stared at intensely. She pulled him towards her and said, "faster! " He chuckled then bent down and traced every inch of her with his lips slowly.. So slowly that he was already driving her mad...To the point of almost being tempted to kick him away!
He then lingered on her most sensitive parts above and down to her most unchartered territory..She then trembled with a strange feeling until she could not stand it anymore. Sensing her reaction, he finally took over and slowly burrowed himself in and out to the depths of her being!
After few minutes of rest, he cleaned both of them up and Jia slumped into his chest. He closed his eyes, being still overwhelmed of the sudden turn of situations. Last night, he was still betting with Anthon. Who knew then that in less than 24 hours, he would unexpectedly win as the best man.
"Jim..." Jia looked up to him as she spoke.

"How does it feel to have me fully, to have taken the great part of me? " She teased as she rubbed a hand across his chest.
"Tiresome." He chuckled. "But I want to do it many times tonight."
He then stood up and put on his robe. He also helped Jia to slip into hers.
"What happened? I thought you're not done yet." She was already prepared to give her full submission tonight.
"If you keep that friction going on, I am afraid you will not be able to get up for the next three days! "
