Soon everyone in the VIP section started competing except for William's group.
Nin Li tried to look away facing William with a devastated look and teary eye.
"Nin Li-" said William before he was interrupted by Nin Li
"I need to use the restroom" replied Nin Li as she quickly got up and left the room.
Meanwhile the bidding war was going on and the price had already reached thirty one thousand gold coins!
"Guild leader Gregor I have a request" said William facing Gregor.
"Oh how might I be of assistance young master?" replied Gregor slightly interested
"Will you lend me enough gold coins to buy this fairy?" asked William
Gregor was surprised momentarily.
"Young master, although a guild leader's salary is quite decent. My funds are insufficient to purchase this fairy, I only have twenty thousand gold coins on me. How much do you have? perhaps we can pool our funds together and purchase it." replied Gregor
"After purchasing the mystery box, seven hundred thirty one gold coins..." replied William reluctantly (^_^')

"You mean to tell me you came to this auction with less than two thousand gold coins?" replied Gregor shocked
"Well I didn't know that everything would be priced in gold coins" replied William embarrassed.
"Do you have any idea how much it cost me to get these seats?! Ten thousand gold coins!" replied Gregor flustered.
"Well if I had known before hand I would have tried to gone out and earned more money before coming here!" replied William still embarrassed
"Earn more money before coming here... Ah! You mean scam more thugs!" replied Gregor flustered
"Maybe just a few... But I definitely could have probably found other means to earn money!" replied William
"I can't believe I misjudged you! How were you even planning to pay me back if I did have the money?!" replied Gregor slightly angry
"Well I would have found a way!" yelled William

Gregor then stopped and calmed down after breathing in deeply
"Why do you even want that fairy? Although they can get fairly powerful, it would cost way too much to raise her cultivation. Fairies need a lot of soul stones to cultivate, soul stones aren't cheap." replied Gregor calmly
"It's not for me, it's for Nin Li." replied William with a sad face
"You're servant?" replied Gregor confused
"She's not my servant, she's my-" replied William but stopped before finishing because he didn't know how to end that sentence.

Meanwhile the others were still competing although only three of them remained. The bid had reached seventy thousand gold coins.
"Why do I have such a soft heart" replied Gregor after closing his eyes and breathing outward.
William looked at Gregor a bit confused.
"My absolute limit is one hundred and twenty thousand, any more and I can't cover it" replied Gregor as he looked at William
"I don't understand, you lied when you said you only had twenty thousand gold coins earlier?" asked William
"No, that wasn't a lie I really do only have twenty thousand gold coins. I do have a way to get funds from somewhere else, I am the guild leader of the apothecary guild after all" replied Gregor
"Apothecary guild...? Wh-" replied William but was interrupted
"Hurry up kid or you'll lose you're chance" Quickly replied Gregor
"Eighty one thousand gold coins going once, eighty one thous-" said the beautiful auctioneer but was quickly interrupted
"Ninety thousand gold coins!" yelled William while raising his plate
The crowd was shocked
"someone joined in so late"

"Ninety one thousand gold coins!" replied the VIP room with the blonde hair girl
"One hundred thousand gold coins!" yelled William immediately
The hall was completely silent for a moment.
"One hundred and one thousand gold coins!" yelled a man from the room with the Blonde haired girl once more
"One hundred and ten thousand gold coins!" yelled William immediately once more
The room remained silently for a longer period of time.
"One hundred and ten thousand gold coins going once, one hundred and ten thousand gold coins going twice, one hundred and ten thousand gold coins going-" said the beautiful auctioneer but was interrupted before finishing
"One hundred and eleven thousand gold coins!" yelled the man from the same room.
"One hundred and twenty thousand gold coins!" yelled William immediately once more.
The hall remained silent for even a longer period of time.
"One hundred and twenty thousand gold coins going once, One hundred and twenty thousand gold coins going twice, One hundred and twenty thousand gold coins going thrice, Sold! To the young lord in the black suit!" replied the announcer cheerfully.
The crowd went wild and immediately the entire hall was gasping followed by everyone standing up, clapping and some even whistling.
"What a great show that was"
"I know that was an amazing strategy by the young lord, waiting to the last minute and raising the stakes so high crushing his opponents spirit!"
" He demonstrated he was winning no matter what!"
"Well I'm certainly glad I came to this thing, even though I didn't win any bids"

On one of VIP rooms across from where the blonde haired girl's room was sat a man who was staring at William quite interested in him. He then turned to one of his servants.
"Find out which family that young lord belongs to" said the fancy dressed man with sharp eyes
On the blonde hair girls room.
"Alex, we're leaving" said the well dressed blonde as she stood up and walked out of the room in a hurry.
"Yes, you're highness" replied the well dressed man as he immediately followed.
"Damned kid I said it was the limit not that you had to actually raise the price to that immediately!" yelled Gregor
"I wanted to scare that guy with my first bid, I certainly would have if someone did that to me. He just kept raising the price by one thousand. I was starting to think he would do it again, so glad he didn't" replied William
