Zynx understood, the monster she was talking about was her own reflection, but if he was to say it, then she surely won't believe him, so he said,
"Look at the lake and run toward that direction."
She followed what Zynx tell her to do.

She walked toward him and pushed her face near him so that he could look at it clearly.
She didn't seem angry, so he continued to stand still and said.

Without giving him a chance to speak, she said.
"Do I have a black face like this monster?"
He was about to nod but stopped when he heard her next sentence.
"Do I have long teeth like him? Or do I have hair on my face?"
'Huh, it is true that she has a black face but other trait doesn't match with her.'
He could not see anything except the reflection of Faustina, so he said,
"Can you explain it exactly what you are seeing?"
She nodded and said.

After hearing Faustina, Zynx understood it was not her reflection, but really a monster or rather a devil.
According to her description, it had a humanoid shape, a large horn on its head and fearsome facial structures.
Zynx looked at her reflection and began to ponder.
He realized, he had not seen any monster after arriving at the lake.
Although this lake contained poison, the amount of poison inside it was so little that unless the mortal realm monster consumed it for more than a month, they would not get affected by it.
But neither mortal realm nor earth realm monster was around him.
Zynx decided to bring some monster here and see what will happen but before that, he had to do something important.
He looked at real Faustina and said,
"Do you have a mirror?"
Faustina nodded and took out the full-length mirror and give that to Zynx.
He knew women would keep a small mirror with them, but a mirror with this size was going overboard.
If it was his first meeting with her, then he would have thought women of this world carry around the large mirror with them, but after knowing her he understood, it was just her.
"Do you know the use of the mirror?"
"Yes, to see the reflection."
At least she knew this, otherwise, he had to explain her from the beginning.
He pointed at the mirror and said.
"Look into it."
Faustina looked into it and become shocked.
"How did you do it?" (Faustina)

"How did you paint my face black? Is this your magic?"(Faustina)

Faustina looked at Zynx with the unbelieving look and about to ask more, but he stopped her.
"Don't you think you should clean yourselves? How about going behind that stone and take a bath?"

She dipped her finger inside the lake.

When he was around his previous location he heard some strange noise, so he increased his pace and after arriving at his previous location he saw Faustina barking at her reflection.
"Arf-arf"
Zynx halted 20 m away from Faustina and placed those monsters on the ground.
He then carefully approached Faustina and said,
"What are you doing?"
After hearing the voice of Zynx, Faustina turned back and said,
"You came back."
"I am just trying to teach him the way to bark as speaking like a human twisted his mouth in a weird shape. Don't you think?"(Faustina)
He could not even see that devil so how could he comment on it, but he became happy when he saw her to be all right.
'Sigh, so it is like this.'
He had captured 12 monsters but one of the wolves went insane when he was 800 m away from the lake.
After going insane it became immune to paralysis, so it killed another paralyzed wolf and after that it attacked him.
Zynx could not control its movement like others, so he had to kill it.
But if Faustina went insane, there was no way for him to stop her, so he was really glad.
Since Faustina was all right, Zynx dragged those 10 monsters toward the lake.
With each step toward the lake, the monster began to go insane like before, so he had to kill the insane one.
After their death, their soul separated and flew toward the lake which got absorbed inside it.
When he arrived before the lake, only one pup (baby rat) remained.
Zynx finally came to the conclusion this lake was similar to poison fog i.e. dangerous region.
Now all he needed to do was make sure whether the cause of this was some type of treasure like poison fog or beforehand devil.
