Many in the audience stood up, worrying about either the person or another "incident". However, Liu Yizhen didn't show any signs of being in pain at all and continued to lift his war hammer, walking forward with it in hand. Blood spurted down the length of his robes and splattered on the ground wherever he stepped. With a roar, he let the hammer fall again, barely a hand's distance from where Jing Yiqiu was standing. This time, the crater was deep enough to bury a person, most likely he had put more strength into the strike. Luckily, Jing Yiqiu leapt away and rolled in time, only dealing with the cutting shockwave. The shockwave this time was a far cry from the previous winds that only seemed like the harsh howling before a storm. This time, the winds could actually cut and Jing Yiqiu, who had immediately stuck his sword into the ground in front of him to defend had numerous small cuts on him from the wind. He had channeled his spiritual energy into his sword so it didn't break and sheltered his vitals, afraid a large spiritual shield would not be as easy to maintain.

As for the other contestants, Luo Yenmu had guards assigned by his father to protect him so it was no trouble. Wen Ya, feeling a sting from the wind, promptly erected a spiritual shield around her body, only caring to touch the cut afterwards. Rong Jian and Shen Tianyu had already sensed the danger before it hit, erecting a shield before the winds even reached them. Since the shockwave was not necessarily a spiritual attack, the shield over the stage didn't contain it. The spectators on the front row seats would be worrisome if they weren't powerful figures that could also afford guards. Even if they didn't bring guards, they should be able to afford the medical fees.

Jing Yiqiu was covered in cuts all over, blood spilling in small rivulets but seemingly fine otherwise. Liu Yizhen ran to the kneeling Jing Yiqiu and swung his hammer again. The other parried the attack, this time, the strength required was clearly seen as his arms visibly tensed, displaying his efforts, and in him gritting his teeth. The hammer fell barely a hairs' breadth away from him, yet the aftershock was not something he could dodge. Though he didn't suffer a direct attack from the war hammer, the shockwave was more intense and he almost lost his balance at the crumbling of the pavement beneath him.

"Stop!" A single word was yelled by several people, the spiritual power in it reverberating throughout the stadium and, perhaps, even reached the city. Many of the contestants from both Xi Qi and Jing Qie covered their ears and faces contorting in pain, including Shen Tianyu, surprisingly. She had been too focused on the fight on the stage that she didn't pay attention to her surroundings. When the loud shouts sounded out, she didn't have time to protect her sensitive ears. Because of their cultivation, cultivators were naturally more sensitive to things than normal people, and the higher the cultivation level, the more sensitive one was.

'Holy fuck! That hurt my ears! Oh my god, that better have not ruptured anything... ow!' She complained and cursed endlessly in her head as she clutched the sides of her head and bowed her head, trying to protect them from another yell that would not come. Rong Jian who had been using his senses to pay attention had put up defenses in time. But seeing his future wife bent over, covering the sides of her head, he knew she hadn't and hurriedly rushed over to her.

The ones who had shouted were, obviously, the two royal couples who were all currently standing. The Emperor of Jing Qie had an ugly look on his face, while everyone had increasingly ashen faces. The Empress was as pale as a ghost, tears already forming in her eyes.

The shouts successfully stopped the fight and Liu Yizhen didn't dare to move even an inch. He was only a subject, after all. Jing Yiqiu also didn't move, looking at where the royal couples were seated at with questions in his eyes.

"Qiu-er!" The Empress yelled, this time without spiritual power, but it was still clearly heard throughout the absolutely silent stadium. Without regard for anything, she ran to the stage. Seeing this as a signal for the end of the match since the royal couples would not let the two keep fighting, the physicians also swarmed the stage. The Master of Ceremonies stood up from his referee seat and announced the match a draw. The Empress, showing much more emotion than Shen Tianyu has seen, threw away all her elegance, grace and decorum as an empress and ran up to hug her son, tears already streaming down her face.

The royal couple were fretting even more now, the Goodwill Tournament had not even ended and there were already two casualties, both the fault of their own players. This time, the Emperor of Jing Qie didn't bother to comfort them as he strode towards the stage also, with an uglier expression than before. The Crown Prince was stroking the Empress's back and assuring her that he was fine.

"An Empress of the nation running and bawling like this, how unsightly!" was the first thing out of the Jing Qie Emperor's mouth when he reached the stage.

By now, with Rong Jian's help, Shen Tianyu had recovered some of her hearing and the pain had subsided. She had seen the empress run like a mother to the Crown Prince. And upon hearing the Emperor's words, her face immediately darkened until it could bleed ink. Rong Jian who was standing behind her, also had a black face with an undercurrent of anger. The Empress of Xi Qi heard as well, and she was startled at first before her face regained an impassive look, but anger was still evident in her eyes if one looked closely. The Emperor beside her merely frowned before he schooled his expression also.
