She stared at the, for her, rare sight of a clear blue night sky with a blanket of glittering stars for a while longer, pondering on different things before she returned to her room. As soon as she looked below her, there was another blanket of light. The Red Light District lit up by the lanterns hung on the doors of night time shops and stores. Her Lavender Palace being the biggest and brightest. She smiled as she snuck back into her room through her window, which she had left open. As she landed on the ground, she rubbed her arms with her hands. Even with a long-sleeved robe, the night was still cold. She quickly closed the window and burrowed into her bed, curling into a cocoon.
Dawn broke soon after and the blanket of stars on the Flower District quickly died out, as if afraid of the Sun, just like the stars in the skies above. The workers all went to sleep and one of the day servant came to wake up Shen Tianyu and Rong Jian. Despite barely having any sleep, Shen Tianyu was as energetic as always. Perhaps it was because her mind was inherently used to the long sleepless nights she had in her previous life or she's just high from sleep deprivation.
The first thing they did after washing up and getting dressed was go to Luo Shue's room. She had shut herself in there since she came here. Shen Tianyu knocked on the door first. "Shue'er? Shue'er are you in there?"
They waited for a while and just when she was going to knock a second time, the door opened. Luo Shue's slightly disheveled figure was shown. On her face and hands were debris from making medicine. "What's the matter, Mistress? Is someone injured?"
"Uh...no but first off, have you been bathing?" The edges of her eyes twitched as she looked at the other's messy state. This wasn't to say the other smelled. In fact, there wasn't any smell aside from herbs. However, the dirty state of her face and hands were the only indication she needed.
Luo Shue brought her arm to her nose and sniffed. "I have been, why? Do I smell? I don't smell anything though?"
"You don't smell but look at a mirror. Your current state isn't fit to see guests. If it wasn't Rong Jian here, who have seen us worse when we were travelling through The Forest, I would have shut the door myself." Shen Tianyu sighed as she folded her arms. 'My own best medical underling has become a secluded hermit at such a young age, what am I to do?' She mentally held her head in her hands as she shook it.
"Ah. Excuse me for this unsightly appearance however, I was busy in the middle of researching a new medicine so I'm sure it's fine right?" Luo Shue nonchalantly answered.

Shen Tianyu heaved another sigh. "Well, I guess. Anyways, you've been locked up researching medicine this whole time so I gave it some thought and I reckon you should head to the headquarters ahead of me."

She reluctantly went to back into her room as the couple waited outside of the cracked door and retrieved a pouch of pills specifically for injuries. She looked around and added a few more pills for poison detoxification in it before walking back out and handing it to the woman leaning leisurely on the door frame.

Rong Jian nodded at the other and spoke a few words of a safe journey before he fell into step behind his "girlfriend".
They spent the next shichen or so looking through their room to make sure they didn't leave anything valuable that they needed on the journey. They then took to the streets to hurriedly buy anything they need, such as dried provisions. They actually didn't need to buy too much as one of them could differentiate between poisonous and non-poisonous plants and the other could easily hunt down fresh meat. Their options on the go were much wider than other teams and such. Also, during the days she was shut in, Luo Shue had made a pill to protect them from the effects of the poisonous fog of The Forest. She had warned it wasn't perfect as this was the first of it's kind and, therefore, a mere prototype. Shen Tianyu just waved her off with an "I trust your abilities" and commented that, as an expert of poisons, even if the pills failed, she could take care of it.
