After the rest day, it was time for the first round of the Election Tournament. Luo Shue stayed behind to make some pills. She knew her Mistress's ability, she was absolutely sure Shen Tianyu would win against these greenhorns. If, in the one in a million chance she did get beat, that would mean that person was most definitely not a youngster and didn't fit the age requirement. Her mistress was already such a monster, having another bigger monster? Not a chance! If cultivation was really that easy, just a Gold Core level would not be so revered!

Shen Tianyu went outside with Rong Jian, this time without a mask, and walked towards the plaza again. They were supposed to meet up there and would be led to where the first round to take place. It was said to prevent anyone gaining an unfair advantage but everyone with a brain knew if you had connections like the nobility, you would get be able to get an unfair advantage. Even if they weren't allowed, didn't mean others couldn't bring them in. Well, one can't compete with that so no use crying over spilt milk. They could only lament their unfortunate lot in life.

There was already a crowd at the plaza and the sun had only just risen. Perhaps some people were too excited.

"Hey, look it's them." As soon as the couple stepped into the plaza, whispers sounded all around them. Though they were trying to be discreet, Shen Tianyu and Rong Jian still noticed the people glancing at them repeatedly. The ones that weren't alone whispered amongst each other in low voices. Those that were alone just kept glancing back. The bolder ones were staring at them unblinkingly, as if trying to start a staring contest. Shen Tianyu merely ignored everyone and looked around to find a seat to sit down on. There was only space on the edge of the stage as the other branches were all taken. She walked to the edge of the stage and sat down without a care. The stage was a little taller than her so she was able to swing her legs where she sat.

Swing her sit down so carelessly, Rong Jian frowned. "Tian'er don't sit down there. It's dirty. At least wipe it a bit before you sit down." He said, taking out a handkerchief.

"What are you so concerned for? Clothes are worn to be dirtied. Besides, we're fighting later so it'll get dirty anyways, what's with a few more specs of dirt?" She replied nonchalantly. She knew she would be fighting today, or doing some kind of extraneous activity so she didn't wear the simple yet refined clothing she usually wears. She wore a cheaper robe that could be dirtied with not even a pattern in it. Regardless, it was still more than the average family could afford, the materials to make the robe that is. It was made of Imperial silk, one of the best silks in the world. If you were lucky, you might be able to find it at an auction being sold for a few million yuan. Like the Silver Purgatory Silk, it had protective qualities, like fashionable armor that was lighter than metal. However it was much inferior to Silver Purgatory Silk as it was not as strong and only a little better than normal clothes. Nonetheless, it still didn't stop people from putting it on a pedestal and praising it to high heavens. Well, not everyone could get Silver Purgatory Silk so any material that could offer protection would be seen highly. Some things you can't buy even if you had money.

Rong Jian kept nagging her and she finally got up to let him wipe a spot clean fro her to sit as she patted dirt from her already dirtied clothes. She couldn't decide if he was a neat freak or just really cared about her. She sat down again after he was done, swinging her kegs beneath her.

"Yo so it's the rude girl form last time. I was wondering what the commotion was about." An arrogant voice sounded from Shen Tianyu's left.

She turned around and saw an extravagantly dressed girl. It was the girl she made a bet with to participate in the Goodwill Tournament.

She wrinkled her nose and turned away, not looking at her again.

"You! You dare to turn your nose at me!" She shouted as she pointed at the other girl in anger.

"You're here to cause trouble again. Why should I pay attention to you?" Shen Tianyu replied.

Actually, if one of them wasn't royalty, they most likely would have seen each other at registration, even from afar. However, Junzhu Wenya was not only royalty but also arrogant. She saw it beneath her to wake up early to sign up for a tournament held by her uncle. After all, she was a favored relative of the organizer, why should she line up in the hot sun? She ended up only going in the late afternoon of the first day and registered at quick speed. No matter what she was a Junzhu and a favored winner at that, the others, especially the officials that wanted to get a higher position, could only let her do as she pleased and make way for her. However by then, Shen Tianyu had already left and since Wen Ya left soon after also, she didn't hear about what happened. Even now, she didn't know why people were whispering and staring at her, she really did come over just to stir up trouble. It was just, not many people sat in the stage and, along with all the staring, it had attracted the idiot second ranked princess that was a single-cell organism.

"You! Hmph! This princess will win this tournament and make you not dare to disrespect me again! By then, you'll be groveling at my feet, see if you still dare to be so arrogant!" The Junzhu Wen Ya flung her sleeves and left.

'Does this pig think I'm dead? Even if Tian'er somehow managed to lose to you, sh still has me. With me here, she won't need to even bow to anyone, much less grovel!' Rong Jian developed new hate on top of the former annoyance and now wanted to make that Junzhu disappear with his own hands.
