The two envoys' expression turned ugly, but they managed to hold themselves. At that moment, they had realized a few more things than Caesar. First, Erza's essences surprisingly had the faint trace of ancient power within it. Secondly, the fact that they were unable to determine what kind of power that was meant the power was one of the higher grades. Before having a better understanding about the nature of her power, none of the envoys were willing to risk it.

Seeing their ugly expression, Erza could not help but feel some self satisfaction. "Lord Caesar and senior envoys, please forgive this one. My outburst was uncontrollable for a moment, but it is no longer a problem."

Looking around the garden and its obliterated state, the two envoys could not help but have an extremely grim expression on their faces. "That power just now, just what was it?"

Erza shook her head with a sigh, " Envoys, please forgive this one. There's just some things that this one cannot speak of. However, that outburst of power just now wasn't under my control. If this one has committed any offences, this one hopes the seniors forgive it."

"Ai, there is no problem, no problem at all. If we are in such a situation like this, then it is our fault completely. If I had not tried to test you, then that power of yours would never have manifested." The gentle looking envoy immediately responded.

After he had come to Mirage City, he had heard about Erza's achievements so far. He could not help but wonder just what type of person the girl was and if the rumour was true. Therefore, they decided to test her strength just to see if she was as amazing as rumour said she was. However, they had never expected that in a single experiment, they had eaten such a loss and their face had been lost as well.

With this, the cold looking envoy looked at the kind looking envoy with a meaningful glare, "This is your fault for looking for trouble."

Hearing that, the kind looking envoy could not help but laugh sheepishly, "Erna, if we have offended you, we do hope that you do not take it to heart." Given her strength at such a young age, the envoy was clearly aware that the girl in front of him had a wonderful future ahead.

Hurriedly, Erza replied back, "How could that be, your words should be coming from me; I truly do wish that seniors do not take offence."

"Senior envoys, sister Erza, because of this recent destruction, why don't we switch place to talk?" Caesar spoke up suddenly. Despite having a body full of injuries, they were nothing more than superficial wounds and would be nothing more than a hindrance. Seeing how the two envoys and Erza had made up, Caesar could not help but sigh in relief secretly.

Afterward, the three followed Caesar to an even more elegant lounge. On their way to the hall however, many guards gave strange looks at the ragged condition Caesar and the two envoys were in, but no one said a thing.

A little while later, the four finally arrived in a quiet hall where they began to talk to each other. Finally, Erza found out the envoys' names as well as gained some understanding about their natures a little bit more.

The two envoys were brothers from the same parents, but their characters had been the exact opposite. The kindly one was the older brother named Leo. Of the two, he was the good-natured one and only had a smile on his face, allowing people to feel at ease with him.

The other person was the younger brother, Leon. Compared to his older brother, he was rather cold and silent, causing people to feel as if he was extremely distant from them.

During the talks, Leo had continuously tried to find out about Erza's true identity from her, but each time it was carelessly answered with a vague response. After a while, he realized that Erza was not willing to answer such a question so he ceased to ask those personal questions. He was really curious though about her. Due to his strong perception, he had long realized that the girl in front him was using appearance changing magic which piqued his curiosity.

At this moment, Arnold had came back with a serious expression on his face. After greeting the envoys, he immediately turned to Caesar, "My lord, a report just came in. There's a large wave of wild beasts heading out from the forests toward Mirage City."

Suddenly, everyone there stopped talking as Caesar gave a heavy stare, "How many are there?!"

"Many, just far too many for us to even count!" Arnold replied gravely.

"Was there any traces of a Peak Level Beast King?" Leo asked.

"Our reports say the scouts are too afraid of entering the Desolate Beast Mountain Range. At most, they only entered the outskirts and so they weren't able to find any traces of it." Arnold held his hands in an apologetic manner.

"Arnold, prepare the entire city immediately! Withdraw the scouts and shut the city gates to prevent anyone from leaving!" Caesar thundered as he jumped from his seat to run out of the room.

With Caesar immediately announcing the start of the beast wave, the entirety of Mirage City had spread the news like wildfire. Suddenly, the entire city exploded into action, as every single mercenary group that heard the news immediately moved toward the city gates with their comrades to prepare.

With the news of combat to be close at hand, the atmosphere was unnaturally serious, but at the same time, everyone was rather excited.

The moment Erza left the lord's mansion, she returned back to the Mole Clan where the seven Mid Kings and a hundred other members of the Blaze of the Heroes ran up to greet her.

On the road, not a single caravan could be seen anymore, only a large amount of heavily armoured mercenary groups heading toward the same destination.

Amongst them, many of the mercenaries walked with an excited look to their faces; this time, the Mercenary Union in Mirage City had issued a report that if they were able to provide the left ear of a wild beast, then they would be able to claim the money reward for killing a beast of its rank.

The more ears they collected, the more rewards they could collect. While the beast wave was extremely dangerous, where one could lose their life if not careful, the allure of a monetary reward was tempting to those not afraid of death.

This sum of money was all paid by the city lord personally. Though it was not a small amount of money, with Mirage City being so close to the Desolate Beast Mountain Range and beast cores being a good source of money, it could be said that both Mirage City and the lord were rich. Otherwise, they would have never been able to afford the type of walls a big city would have.

When Erza led the hundred men to the city gates a thousand meters away, they suddenly found the road was blocked by the sea of people which made it almost impossible for them to move forward.

At this, Erza merely stepped back and spoke out to the seven Mid Kings behind her, "Clear the way for us!"

The seven Mid Kings were all famous people within Mirage City with many people knowing who they were. So, many people immediately cleared a path for them, since many of the men felt intimidated by their presence.

Exchanging places with Erza, the seven men's presence spiked in intensity as Daniel shouted out loud, "Fellow brothers, please make way!" Under their control, the amount of power exuding from them had caused the road in front of them to suddenly clear out as if a sharp sword had cut through it and forced the group of people to move off to the side.

"Eh? Isn't that the captain of the Blue Dragon Mercenaries? I didn't think he'd be here…"

"That's the captain of the Cold Blooded Mercenaries as well…"

"I've heard rumours that they had dissolved their mercenary groups to join another group called the Blaze of the Heroes. Though, I'm not sure if it's true or not…"

The moment the seven Mid Kings showed their faces, they had immediately garnered the attention of everyone who began to talk about them.

Hidden behind the large group, Erza followed the seven Mid Kings without gaining anyone's attention. Just as the group was 500 meters away from the walls, suddenly a large commotion could be heard up ahead. Then, a heavily armoured soldier came walking towards Erza; it was the commander, Arnold.

"Haha, Young Lady, the lord and senior envoys are waiting for you at the walls. Allow me to accompany you." The moment commander Arnold saw Erza, his voice grew even more polite than before.

Walking ahead of the group, Erza returned the smile, "Then if you would please do me the honour in leading."

Afterward, in front of astonished gazes of the people around them, Erza and Arnold left together toward the city gates.
