Chapter 12: A promise to protect
The moment that red veil dropped, the people were wide eyed. It can be said that the crowd had their breath stolen, with the exception of the Bai family head and a few people. After that, Lu Feng faced the audience and smiled. “If you like these roses, you may take some home.” Having said that, he made more roses appear out of his hands. Many women took the roses, and even a few men did for the sake of pleasing their own wives.

Lu Feng however was busy for the whole afternoon, after the guests slowly started to leave. Lu Feng already was already drunk, as for guards in the courtyard they did not dare to escort Lu Feng in since they aren’t allowed inside.
Lu Feng could only unsteadily walk back inside the wooden house, just after entering the wooden house all of a sudden it was like he didn’t even drink a single drop. This was unexpected by him as he secretly whispered, “Strange, today I drank so much but I don’t even feel drunk or sleepy. Is it just that the quality of this world’s wine is lousy?”
Lu Feng then intend to lie down on his bed, after all the events during the day could make a person collapse. When he was about to lie down, a sound that was drinking and eating was heard, “Stand there and don’t move.”

However Lu Feng as if unsatisfied he said, “Of course I care, you are my wife after all.” Bai Yue remained silent for a long time before saying, “Didn’t I said just now, not to call me wife.” Soon after Bai Yue continued up the stairs, at the same time the corner of her eyes had tears glistening.
Because today Lu Feng infront of everyone had protected her, even as far as wounding Xia Qin. Even gifting her so many flowers, she wanted to say it didn’t move her. But she could not say it, just like before she coldly walked up the stairs.
Leaving Lu Feng who was staring as if he had been struck dumb behind, at this moment the white cat was rubbing against Lu Feng’s leg then Lu Feng picked it up and said, “You wait here, I’ll go find my wife and ask her.”
Then Lu Feng left the place, the guards were shocked when they Lu Feng suddenly walked out lively, Ye Gu wondered, “Young master, are you well.” Lu Feng only smiled, “I’m not hungover anymore, don’t worry I’m completely fine.”
Everyone wondered what was a hangover, Lu Feng quickly went to ask the mistress where to find his wife.
