She dialed her daughter's number and when someone picked up, she asked frantically, "Is everything alright at home? Are you alright? Did anyone get hurt?"
"Everything is fine," replied Kai Xin patiently. They had almost reached home.
An Qi Yan sighed in relief before saying, "I'm glad. I was worried that something might have happened."
"I'm fine. Everyone is fine. How's your trip? Are you coming back tonight?"
Even though it was silly, An Qi Yan nodded before saying, "It's good. We went to do some sightseeing around the town. Erden and I are thinking about staying for another night. We want to visit our old school. If everything is fine, then we would be staying for another night. Do you need me?"
Like mother, like daughter. Kai Xin shook her head and glanced at DX before replying,
"I'm good. Du XiAn would be at home with me for the next couple of days, so don't worry too much about me."

They bought some food and took a cab to their alma mater. When they were there, the classes had already ended.
The school had undergone a renovation and it looked completely different from what they could remember.

Along with Mr. Zhen, they met each other for the first time under the oak tree. Sima Erden had just moved to the small town with his grandfather.
When he tried to escape from his boring classes, he bumped into the two who were skipping school as well.
