I watched patiently as both Raka and Neha went against 14 1st tier abnormals.
They were strong. Both of them. But fighting 7 1st tier abnormals was a bit hard for them.
Especially Neha, who, despite having better stats than Raka, was having more difficulty dealing with her enemies.

While moving, she ran around the 7 abnormals and did not gave them another chance to gang up on her again and used her higher agility and stamina to run circles around them.
Soon enough, an opportunity presented itself and she used it perfectly by decapitating the lone abnormal who had strayed from the group when it became distracted by Raka who had almost finished his fight.
But after Neha killed the abnormal, her movement stopped and the rest of the abnormals took this chance to gang up on her.
She panicked at their assault and got struck a few times before she was able to run out of their encirclement.
I realized that this time, there was a slight limp on her left leg and had no doubt that once this fight was over, she would have numerous bruises all over her body.
'That would teach her to not stop after killing one of the enemy since the rest of them can still gang up on you.' I thought with a chuckle as Neha started to move around them once more.
Perhaps watching your little sibling getting beaten black and blue was not such a bad experience after all.
'You should not derive enjoyment from other's pain you know.' Lily chided and I rolled my eyes.
'Yes mom.' I said and she started giggling as we made barbs at each other.
But she was right. I should not derive enjoyment from other's pain.
In fact, I was not enjoying myself because she was getting beaten down there.
I was smiling because Neha was growing as a fighter. She was becoming more and more skilled with each moment.
Each blow that she suffers will teach her something new that'll help her survive in this world.
And what better place to fight against such odds then under your brother's watchful eye.
Suddenly I noticed some movement from my peripheral vision and my eyes snapped to the left.
A small horde of mutant beasts. About 50 of them. All of them are mutant monkeys the size of small gorilla expect for one of them who was clearly bigger than an average gorilla.
'1 3rd tier. 5-10 2nd tier. The rest are all 1st tier mutant beasts.'
'Perfect opportunity for me to test my new sword.' I thought with a cruel smile as I took out 'Cleaver' from the spatial ring.
Then I jump from the tree and ran at them.

"Those bastards beat me up real good." Neha complained as I applied medicine on her shoulder where the skin had turned dark purple.
"But you defeated them all in the end. Didn't you." I said with a bit of pride in my voice.
"Well… Raka helped me out a bit in the end." She said with a bit of irritation in the voice.
"You were taking too much time." Raka said from the side as he chewed on a large loaf which he acquired from god knows where.
"I was not." Neha shouted and Raka mimicked her words to irritate her even more.
"Stop. Both of you." I said and they stopped immediately. "If you have so much energy then you better save if for the mutant beasts and abnormals that you'll fight later on. Because I can assure you, you will be fighting a lot of them." I said with a gleam in my eyes and enjoyed myself as they both shuddered at my words.
'I think I'm turning into a sadist.' I thought with a smile.
After I finished applying the medicine, she got up and then I gave both of them the spoil of their battles.
Both of them kept the crystals in their black watch after which Neha turned to look at me apprehensively.
"Ashok. How come you're so skilled. I don't think I ever saw you fight before… the black fog came. Well, except for your stupid brawls in the school that happened every once in a while."
"You never saw me fight with a sword before the apocalypse because I never did." I said simply and shrugged.
"Then how come you're so good at it?" she prodded and I could see that Rahul was looking expectantly in my direction as well.
As if I would tell them some kind of secret that make them super strong immediately.
I chuckled in my mind at the thought and then replied "I'm a fast learner" with a shrug.
Neha deflated immediately at my answer while Raka did not gave any outward indication. But I could still see his eye twitching slightly.
"Huhh…" Neha sighed and then took out a packet full of cookies from inside the spatial ring.
"Well. I guess it is what it is." She said and took out a bunch of cookies in one hand and moved that hand toward me "Here. Eat. I don't know where big bro found these. But they are quite tasty."
I froze at her words and from the corner of my eyes, I could see Raka turning a bit pale, as if he suddenly remembered something horrifying. Which he probably did.
Neha noticed both of out expressions and frowned a bit while I sighed heavily and shook my head.
It was time to tell her.
