A gust of wind fluttered a flock of Senja hair, the wind that feel so cold and dry make her shivered a bit. She still feels very weak, but now there was a little strength for her to open her eyes.
Her long eyelashes flutters for a moment before her eyes open. At the beginning the scene before her was blurry she blinked for a couple of time to readjust her eyes.
She knew Lieutenant Utara was in the room guarding her but she wasn't aware yet that Senja has regain her consciousness. Therefore, with a lot of struggle a faint grunt escape from her dry lips. This small grunt draw Utara attention from documents on his hands and he looked over to the girl on the bed.
He walked hastily to her bedside and saw her disoriented eyes.
"Senja! You are awake!" He cried out and his dark eyes were beamed with grateful. "Call the others" He shouted to the door and someone ran to carry the massage.
He wiped Senja hair from her face and fed her water, Senja very thankful with his thoughtfulness as the water ran down her dry throat. "Senja, you scared us" Utara whined pitifully.
"How long…" Senja grunted when she talk and find out her voice very hoarse.
Utara knew what she wanted to ask although she didn't finish her words. "It been 3 days since you passed out that night"
Senja eyes swept through her room, beaming sunrays from slightly open door tell her that it was already afternoon.
Not long time after that a few rushing footsteps could be heard and the first person who walked through the door was Elder Dam with knitted brows and fury in his eyes.
"Senja, child… you are awake?" His old body slump right at the side of Senja bed. He held Senja hand carefully.
Due to lack of strength she was just managed to nodding her head slightly.
"Quick. Check on her" He gave the order to the person who wearing blue bright gown. She knew he was a military doctor because she met him once when she went to look for Yoda.
He made a quick examine on her afterwards his young face gave trace of relieved. He smile to Elder Dam and said "She is alright there is no need to be worry. I will gave you prescription, for the meantime I will make a nourishment soup"
He then talked about some other things with Elder Dam before excuse himself.
Aside from Utara and Elder Dam near her bed, there was Xiao Tianyou standing not too far.
"How you feel now?" His anxious voice could be heard clearly.
"I am fine grandfather" Of course she was fine, after all she wasn't being attacked that night. It happened due to her overused her energy to subdue that man from killing the shadow guard. "What happened to him?"
"You don't need to think about that matter, all you have to do is rest. Let grandfather handled it" Elder Dam said with concerned.
Senja was so weak to argue with him, but she need to know. That was why she struggled to said a few more words. "I am alright now grandfather, but I need to know what happened"
Elder Dam brows knitted and he looked want to rebuke his granddaughter words but before he could say anything Xiao Tianyou step forward and came to Senja sight to explain the situation.
"That man is a soldier who runaway from northern military camp a week ago, we still investigated what had happened and what his motive but it seems he couldn't remember anything aside from maples forest" His husky voice echoed in silent room.
Senja like to hear his voice… no, no, no, it wasn't time for that.
"Maples forest?" This word caught Senja most attention. It was the forest she saw in her vision ! That man actually linked to her clue?
