When Pao Houa heard Mua Kong asked for his sister, his expression saddens. He does not know what is the right way to say. His gaze was lost at how to answer that question in a short concise way. With a solemn expression, all he could muttered out was, "She's not here."
Mua Kong asked, "How did you get here?"
After of what seems like eternity to Mua Kong, Pao Hua who had a contemplation expression on his face glanced at Mua Kong with determination in his eyes. Pao Hua finally spoke, "There is something I have to give you but it's in the bed where Hue Houa and I sleeps at. I have to go fetch it."
"Mm.. go." Mua Kong nodded.
Pao Hua looked at his nephew, "Be good. Stay here. Uncle will be back shortly." After he spoke, he stood up to leave.
Mua Kong tapped on his laps and called over to his son, "Come here, your uncle has to go bring something over, he'll be back very soon."
Little Superglue looked conflicted, he still want to glue onto his uncle but uncle had already left. He hesitated before taking minute steps over to Mua Kong.
Mua Kong signaled for Yee Len to go chaperone Pao Hua to which Yee Len understood and walked out. Mua Kong glanced down at his boy who just reached him, he smiled and lifted his little boy onto his laps.
There was a couple knocks on the door followed by Elder Mae's voice, "My Lord, the food for the child is here."
"Come in." Mua Kong answered.
The door was pushed opened and Elder Mae walked in with a tray that have a dish on it. She saw the young Lord sitting on the Lord's laps. The young Lord is the splitting image of the Lord when the Lord was young. It is as the young Lord was a twin of the Lord but born years apart. "My Lord, this is rice egg porridge, easy for baby to swallow and digest."
Mua Kong cleared up a space in front of him. Elder Mae walked over to the study table and sat the bowl on the space that was cleared. "I will be back to clean this up later. Take your time." Elder Mae spoke.
"Mm.." Mua Kong answered.
Little Superglue's eyes widen and shines like the bright full moon when he saw the food in front him. His lips curved up like the crescent moon eyeing the food.
Elder Mae laughed at the expression of the young Lord before walking out of the room. It looks like the Young Lord loves food. Children who loves food are easy to raise.
Mua Kong tilted his head a little to look at his son and asked in a soft gentle tone, "Do you want to eat?"
Little Superglue tilted his head up to look up to the man with his small round face, his bright big eyes asked can "I can eat it?"
"Mm.. You can eat all of it." Mua Kong replied.
Mua Kong inched closer to the table and reached his hand to grab the spoon before scooping a spoonful of the food.
Seeing the action of the stranger man, with his short arms and small hand, Little Superglue reached his hands out to stop Mua Kong's hand. "Mommy said don't eat food stranger man give me. I can eat myself."
Surprised, Mua Kong replied, "Ok," and switched the spoon to his boy's hand. Well, his boy kind of got the concept right. He should not eat anything stranger man give him, but just because he eats it himself does not change the fact that the food is still from the stranger man. However, it is okay, there are plenty of time for him to teach his son.
At this moment, Yee Len and Pao Hua came into the room. Pao Hua carried a bag with him. He took out the book of what seems like a journal and handed it to Mua Kong. "My sister wrote events of her life in that book. I didn't know of it until recently. When I found the existence of the book and read it, I decided to make the journey with Hue Houa to your palace. Sis, never mentioned anything about you after that accident." A flashed of despairs shone in Pao Hua's eyes when he mentioned that accident.
Mua Kong could guessed what accident Pao Hua was referring to, he asked curiously, "Tell me what happened from beginning to end."

After a moment of bracing himself and calming his mind, he opened his mouth and explained, "Sis saw me being abused on her way to visit her grandma's grave. She then picked me off from the road, adopted me as her little brother and took care of me. The night, before we reached your place, we decided to rest in an inn, on the out skirt of town. That night we were attacked." Pao Hua took a deep breath like there was a heavy burden he had to carry. It was hard trying to relive that night... but the truth must be told. After a moment he proceeded again. His memory remember every details of the event and their life afterward....
