Before Hue Chi could react, the unknown man disappeared. Hue Chi stared at Yu Sha wondering who she truly is. What does the man mean when he said, she will find her way back to him?
"Wow, she slept through the whole thing?" Peeking through the window was Dao Txu interrupting his Lord.
Hue Chi shifted his attention at the window.
"He escaped under PengXu's pursuit. It's not even their real bodies. We can't do anything." Dao Txu added. None of their team members are well versed in dealing with the realm of magic tricks.
In a different space, the immortal looking man grimed happily staring into the infinite horizon while his eyes flashed sorrows that could stretch far beyond the infinite horizon. "I've waited forever, my Little Bird."
"Atlas, you weren't supposed to show yourself, why did you show up? I alone was enough to create a diversion?"
"Kiro, I found her... more like she found me first." Atlas spoke as a tear drops down his cheek. Those eyes have sorrow so deep like he cried for a thousand years until there are no more tears but blood and eventually the blood crystallized in his eyes, turning his eyes ruby red.
The next day, Yu Sha and Hue Chi didn't want to intrude Jul and Ark so they declined breakfast, thank the guys and took off early morning. They walked a couple miles away before getting picked up. Yu Sha was still confused as to why they took random strolls and stayed at random house. Because nothing happened the night before, she lost a part of a clue she thought was true, although it was because she slept through the ordeal.
A regular car picked them up from the street and took them to the base.
Back in the remote little house by the seaside, Ark slumped on the couch like he nearly just escaped death. "We're almost done for. Thanks to the diversion yesterday, maybe we'll be safe."
While Jul didn't think so. To get a personal visit from the Prince, it was no simple coincidence. The Prince is sharp, his every thought and moves have a reason behind it. They can't relax yet until they know why he visited personally. They barely escaped their mansion hideout. Thanks to Atlas creating them a space tunnel, they were able to get out without being detected.
When Hue Chi and Yu Sha arrived at the base, Hue Chi directed Yu Sha to her room so she could shower and get ready. "Breakfast will be prepared soon."
Yu Sha shouted after, "Wait, what was last night for? We didn't get anything out of it?"
Hue Chi glanced at with a "that's because you slept through the attack" look and smiled. He couldn't help her innocent confused look, he took a few steps closer to her and patted her head, "Idiot, did you use all thinking ability for your power and have nothing left for your brain?"
"Is that a compliment or an insult?" Yu Sha felt even more bewildered.
"Go get ready. We don't have much time." Hue Chi instructed before heading out.
She watched his retreating back feeling complicated, sometimes he feels like a gentleman which is now, but sometimes he is so perverted. She can't make out what he truly is, although a part of her somehow unconsciously trusts him blindly at times too. Without even thinking, she raised her hand up to touch her head where he patted earlier. The warmth of his hand still remained on her head.
Brrring... Brrring.. Yu Sha heard her phone ringing and picked up. "Hello?"
"Sis, I'm flying in tomorrow. Don't forget." Yu Ping reminded from the other line.
"Oh shoot." She cursed. "Um... If I can't pick you up, I will find someone to get you. I need you to get some security system setup for Harvest Shelter."
"So, you forgot that I'm coming tomorrow?!" He shouted on the other line.
"It's not on purpose. I've been busy." Yu Sha explained.
"Su Na said you've were away. So, what are you busy about? Still trying to fight the person you IM'ed me?
Shocked that he nailed the bull's eyes, Yu Sha hesitated before denying.
"I don't believe you, there was 2 seconds pause. Show me who that guy is when I arrive, maybe I can teach you a few things or two."
"Forget it. I've long forgotten." She rejected his suggestion.
"Mom and grandma are coming home in two weeks. Make sure you come back home even if it's just for a few days."
"I know. I planned to." Yu Sha assured. "I'll update you tonight."
"Ok. I'll wait to hear from you." Yu Ping replied.
They both hangs up. Yu Sha threw herself on the bed and sighed. A lot has happened since she arrived. Getting herself into troubles with the Royal Prince of Aires. She was not even sure why she dragged herself into his problems. She rolled around her bed cursing herself for some times before getting up to shower.
